Negotiation at the Blazeforge Orc Encampment

Chapter 1163

Dida La opened his mouth, but said nothing. Indeed, this was the last resort—even if it sounded like the most unreliable idea out of everything we’d come up with in the past half day.

None of the Sky Rank experts spoke. The Odin Royal Family immediately bristled in outrage.

"Archmage Leon, are you out of your mind? This is far too naive! You want to negotiate with those orcs? Those brainless beasts who can barely keep their mouths shut—do you really think they’ll talk to you?"

Damn it, Matthew Merlin must be insane. Negotiate with the orcs? About what? Asking them to stop their assault?

Or maybe asking the orcs to help us seize the Alchemical Array?

Don’t make me laugh. The orcs have Sky Rank powerhouses now, and they’ve already made their breakthrough. They don’t even need the Beast God’s Blood anymore.

We’re the ones who need it, alright? As long as they attack while we’re trying to take the Alchemical Array, wipe us out, victory at the Blazeforge Battlefield will be theirs.

And we’ve suddenly lost several Sky Rank experts, and over two hundred Seventh-Rank Title Archmages at minimum. That alone could change the entire balance of the Blazeforge Battlefield.

If they suddenly gain eight more Sky Rank warriors, they could even launch a counterattack. You think they’ll negotiate with us?

We can’t even get close. Those idiots won’t give us a chance to negotiate—if we meet, it’s a fight to the death.

Many below looked confused; most thought Leon’s idea of 'negotiating' was completely absurd and unreasonable.

"If you think you’ve got a better plan, then go ahead and suggest it."

Seeing the opposition, Leon just tossed out that line. Instantly, the Odin Royal Family went silent.

Joey and Heron exchanged glances, surprise flickering in their eyes, but neither found the idea ridiculous.

Archmage Leon never does anything without absolute confidence. It might sound impossible, but if he’s the one doing it, there’s probably a real chance.

Joey’s eyes flickered as he spoke slowly.

"There’s no better option right now. Whatever the plan, it’s worth a try."

Joey spoke, Heron quickly agreed. Rafael thought for a moment and also nodded, while Morgan didn’t even hesitate to stand up in support.

Unexpectedly, Dida La also agreed without saying a word.

With that, no one else could object. Six Sky Rank powerhouses had all agreed—any further opposition was pointless.

"So who’s actually going to negotiate with the orcs? We can’t all go, right? Since Archmage Leon suggested it, he must be confident. Let him go."

The Odin Royal Family quickly distanced themselves, dragging others along and dumping all the responsibility on Leon.

Matthew Merlin, since you want to show off, then go ahead. Let’s see if those Sky Rank Blazeforge Orcs beat you to death in their own territory.

He probably won’t even get a word out before those Sky Rank orcs kill him...

A cold smirk appeared at the corner of Leon’s mouth; he didn’t even bother acknowledging the Odin Royal Family.

So what if they’ve reached Sky Rank? The true value of Beast God's Blood is in the divine fire embers it catalyzes. With enough Beast God's Blood, maybe one day those embers will ignite into real divine fire.

The meaning behind this... these people would never understand. What they see is just the tip of the iceberg—the real enormity is hidden below the surface.

That’s why, no matter what, we have to get the Alchemical Array.

Without another word, Leon flew off alone—he didn’t bring anyone with him.

Leon flew straight to the Blazeforge Orcs’ temporary encampment. The terrifying aura of transcendent power erupted like an explosion—one by one, the Sky Rank Blazeforge Orcs rose into the sky, sneering at Leon as he approached.

Without a word, the Bloodbone Orc Leon had met before sneered and turned into a blood-red shadow, drifting over. In an instant, dozens of needle-thin blood-red battle auras appeared around Leon.

The dense rain of battle aura needles carried a sinister energy, blanketing the sky and closing in on Leon from all directions.

"Foolish human, last time you got lucky—I didn’t bother killing you. But this time you actually dare to fly here alone? You’re just asking for death.

Since you want to die, I’ll be generous and send you back to the embrace of the earth. Look—the earth is already opening its arms, so hurry up and die!"

The Bloodbone Orc laughed wildly, joined by the other orcs, all roaring with laughter.

"Is this guy just tired of living? As a kind orc, I absolutely must help him return to the earth’s embrace."

"What a shame, he’s actually pretty strong. Even without breaking through to Sky Rank, his combat power is already at Sky Rank level. Now that he’s dead, the humans will be devastated."

"If you ask me, this foolish human probably thinks he’s so strong he can take us all on alone. Are you scared? Oh, look at me—I’m shaking in fear, just look at my shoulders! Hahaha..."

Several Sky Rank orcs hovered in the air, jeering, and even those on the ground joined in, laughing and heckling. To them, this was nothing but entertainment.

Leon’s face was cold as he let out a chilling laugh.

These Blazeforge Orcs worship strength. If your fists aren’t strong enough, you won’t even get a chance to talk. Unless you beat them up, they’ll never talk properly.

Especially when it comes to humans, they follow one principle: the only good human is a dead one. Whenever they see a human, it’s their instinct to kill.

Leon raised the Doombringer Staff. Behind him, a massive violet dragon phantom appeared, cradling a multicolored wheel in its arms, with four dazzling gems embedded in the center.

In his left hand, he gripped the Death Tome. Its chains snapped, the tome opened on its own, and four-colored light burst forth, enveloping Leon.

In an instant, Leon’s aura swelled madly. The Spellbook of Ages floated at his left, the Arcane Wheel at his right.

Theo transformed into a flame sprite, floating above the Spellbook of Ages, while Anderson’s three faces grew solemn, quietly hovering atop the Arcane Wheel.

With every magical artifact unleashed, Leon’s mana erupted like a geyser. The foundations of the four elemental rules were fully laid and fused—his path as a Title Archmage was nearly complete, and more perfect than anyone else’s.

Slowly, a massive, ancient balance phantom appeared. Leon hovered at its center, the Spellbook of Ages and Arcane Wheel floating on either side.

Suddenly, a Void Furnace Codex and a dazzling, multicolored Heart of Elements Codex appeared at the same time.

The balance slowly tipped. The Spellbook of Ages was already a transcendent artifact, surpassing the power of the Arcane Wheel—but as the light on the balance flashed...

Suddenly, endless power fell from the void, as if the balance had forcibly torn it from the void itself. This power poured into the Arcane Wheel.

Instantly, the Arcane Wheel’s aura surged madly—in less than a second, it reached the level of a transcendent artifact, nearly matching the Spellbook of Ages.

The balance returned to equilibrium, but the aura Leon emitted—even without transcendent power—already surpassed any of the Sky Rank orcs facing him.

The Balance Law—a meditation law with only six core formulas—was, in Leon’s view, the strongest of all meditation laws.

When he obtained this law, he instantly elevated the Heart of Elements Codex by one core formula. To maintain equilibrium, he forcibly raised the Heart of Elements Codex by a whole tier.

Earlier, Leon had wondered whether the Balance Law was more than just letting a mage possess two core meditation laws.

The Balance Law itself must have other functions, but until now, he hadn’t been able to uncover them.

Every core meditation law affects combat ability, or has some other special impact.

If the Balance Law can elevate the Heart of Elements Codex by a tier, it surely isn’t that simple.
