Two Yamato men moved swiftly, each reaching out a hand to grab Ian Song's shoulder.
Hmph!
With a cold snort, before the two Yamato men could touch Ian, he quickly threw out two punches. Instantly, both men groaned and collapsed to the ground.
Seeing this, Victor Miyamoto was shocked and tried to run.
But at that moment, the drug took effect. Overwhelmed by hallucinations, Victor Miyamoto's eyes turned red as he pounced on one of the Yamato men Ian had knocked down, kissing him frantically and tearing at both their clothes.
“Mr. Miyamoto, what are you doing?”
The Yamato man was horrified and struggled desperately, but Ian’s punch had left him too weak to push Victor Miyamoto off.
Just as the two were about to stage a scandalous scene in the middle of the bar, the staff finally arrived, sending out two bouncers to forcibly separate them.
But Victor Miyamoto was completely out of his mind. After being separated, he suddenly turned and hugged one of the bouncers, kissing him wildly.
The bouncer who got kissed shoved Victor Miyamoto away and, furious, chopped him on the neck, knocking him out cold.
Seeing Victor Miyamoto being taken away, Wendy Jiang finally snapped out of her shock and shivered instinctively. If Ian hadn’t stopped her from drinking that wine, she couldn’t imagine what might have happened.
Thinking about it, she felt a surge of gratitude toward Ian Song.
My name is Wendy Jiang. What should I call you?
Hello, I’m Ian Song," Ian replied with a smile.
“Thank you. If it hadn’t been for you, I probably would’ve drunk that wine,” Wendy said, still shaken.
Ian shrugged nonchalantly. “No problem. We’re both from Yanhuang—I couldn’t just stand by and let a Yamato man bully you.”
“Thank you,” Wendy said again. Suddenly, she hesitated, then asked Ian, “I want to leave here. Could you come with me?”
Of course!" Ian nodded, knowing Wendy was shaken by what had just happened and wanted him to accompany her as she left.
But just as the two stood up, a burly man blocked their way.
“The boss wants to see you both,” the man said in perfect Yanhuang dialect.
“Who’s your boss?” Ian Song narrowed his eyes and asked.
“Our boss owns this bar. Please, come with me!” The burly man repeated, his tone growing impatient.
“Lead the way.” Ian nodded, but noticed a hint of worry in Wendy Jiang’s expression. He leaned in and whispered, “Relax, I’m here. Nothing will happen.”
Soon, Ian and Wendy were brought to a private box on the bar’s second floor.
Four burly men stood at the box’s entrance, each concealing a firearm. Four more armed men were inside, making it clear the bar’s owner was no ordinary person.
On the central sofa sat a young man in sunglasses, a cigar between his lips, wearing a garish floral shirt and shorts. He lounged there, exuding arrogance.
“Boss, the guests are here.”
The burly man who brought Ian in respectfully left the room.
“You two from Yanhuang?” The man in the floral shirt blew a smoke ring and looked at Ian and Wendy with a playful smirk.
“That’s right.”
“Then do you know where you are?” the man continued.
“Jadeport City, Blackfield.” Ian answered calmly.
Bang!
The man slammed his palm on the table, his tone turning harsh. “Since you know this is Jadeport City, how dare you cause trouble in my place? Are you tired of living?”
“We weren’t the ones looking for trouble. That Yamato guy tried to drug me and got what he deserved!” Wendy snapped, her voice full of anger.
The man just laughed coldly. “I don’t care who was right or wrong. All I know is you two stirred up trouble in my bar. Listen up: you have two choices. One, get your legs broken and be thrown out. Two, pay me twenty million Yanhuang yuan in damages, and this lady spends the night with me.”
As he spoke, a lustful glint flashed behind his sunglasses.
Hearing his shameless demand, Wendy was furious and wanted to argue, but Ian stopped her, giving her a reassuring look. He stepped forward and said, “I’d like to hear a third option.”
“I hate people who don’t play by my rules!” The boss shot Ian a cold look, then snapped his fingers.
Bang!
One of the four burly men flanking him stepped forward, his face dark, striding straight toward Ian Song and swinging a slap at his cheek.
But the result was...
Bang!
Ian lashed out with a kick, sending the man flying and crashing to the ground, knocked out cold in one clean move.
Ha ha ha!
Seeing this, the other three burly men quickly drew their pistols, loading them and aiming at Ian.
“You’ve got guts, hitting someone in my territory!” The boss squinted at Ian, his gaze turning icy.
“Because I have the capital to be arrogant!” Ian replied with a faint smile. Three coins flicked from his hand.
The coins shot out like lightning, instantly striking each gunman’s wrist. With three cries of pain, all their pistols clattered to the floor.
In that instant, Ian’s figure blurred like a ghost.
Bang bang bang!
With three muffled impacts, the three men joined their companion on the ground, all knocked unconscious.
Seeing this, the boss froze for a moment, then immediately reached for the gun in his waistband. But in a flash, Ian appeared behind him and clamped a strong hand around his neck.
Ian’s powerful fingers squeezed, and just as the boss’s hand touched his gun, his arm went limp.
Ian took the gun from the boss’s waistband and tossed it to the floor, then pointed at him playfully. “So, is there a third option now?”
Bang!
The door was kicked open and four more burly men rushed in, guns leveled at Ian.
Thwack thwack thwack thwack!
Without any visible movement, four coins shot out, each one striking a man’s throat. All four collapsed limply to the ground.
The boss was utterly hopeless now. All his men were down, and this guy was terrifying. He instantly regretted not letting them leave quietly—none of this would’ve happened.
Ugh!
Just then, Ian did something that shocked both the boss and Wendy Jiang.
He brought his hands together and literally crushed the metal pistol into a ball.
Bang!
Ian tossed the lump of iron onto the table in front of the boss and said coldly, “Remember, some people aren’t to be messed with. Try it again and I’ll kill you myself.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Ian walked over to Wendy, took her—still stunned—by the hand, and strode out of the private box.
