Corpse Dumping Ground

John Chou slowly turned around, and for a moment, a ghostly version of himself split off and sat down before me. As I watched the John Chou steering the boat ahead, I realized this must be his Ghost Soul.

"It's indeed a Ghost Soul. Only when a Ghost Soul is truly complete does it belong to a high-level ghost. Only the Ghost Souls of upper-tier ghosts can be called complete."

Confused, I stared at John Chou before finally speaking up.

"I remember the structure of a Ghost Soul involves the Ghost Gates, the ghost..."

I stopped mid-sentence. John Chou gave me a stern look. He had previously told me to abandon all the concepts I’d learned before.

"A low-level ghost's Ghost Soul is like a balloon filled with countless tiny holes. For a mid-level ghost, it's like a rubber ball with many small holes. But for a high-level ghost, their Ghost Soul is an iron ball, packed with countless fine holes."

My eyes widened. I had a partial understanding in my mind, but the specifics still eluded me.

"You'll understand in time. Just remember what I've taught you and keep it firmly in your mind."

I responded with a simple 'Oh.' At that moment, John Chou stood up and stared at the darkening sea in the distance. We had been traveling for nearly three hours, yet he still hadn't told me where we were headed.

"The place where my bones are buried."
