The Three Brides’ Conditions

1/19/2026

Yvonne Xuan and the other two brides stood atop Evan Chu’s golden dragon form, the wind roaring past their ears and their hearts racing with excitement. They had witnessed every moment of the fierce battle at Frostbane Imperial Palace just now, but because they were wearing their bridal gowns, they hadn’t come out to join the fight.

“Evan, let’s head back. Today is our grand wedding day, and you still need to greet the guests. After what we’ve just experienced, this wedding is truly one-of-a-kind—something we’ll never forget for the rest of our lives.” Yvonne Xuan said softly.

“If that’s the case, let’s go back. Wait for me in the bridal chamber—I promise tonight will be unforgettable!” Evan Chu replied, then flashed away, quickly returning to Frostbane Imperial Palace.

After transforming back into human form, Evan landed with the three brides. The women once again donned their veils and were escorted by attendants to the bridal chamber, while Evan raised a cup and announced, “Thank you all for coming to my wedding—drink to your heart’s content tonight!”

There were simply too many guests for Evan to toast each one individually, so he had to keep it brief. The banquet on the martial field was lively and boisterous, but in a side hall, Evan had prepared a special table.

Seated at the table were Shadow, Goldwing, Xander Xuan and his wife, Jade Qin, Nolan Nangong, and Blazefire Immortal Lord. Thanks to Evan’s healing pill and the power of the Jadeheart Lotus seed, Jade Qin’s injuries had already recovered more than half.

“Evan, congratulations on becoming Lord of Frostbane Imperial Palace—and now marrying three stunning beauties! This is a legendary event, sure to be remembered for ages in the Immortal Realm.” Nolan Nangong said with a smile.

“Evan, let me toast you—a happy wedding!” Jade Qin said warmly.

“Boss, we’ll toast you too!” Shadow stood up and declared.

Xander Xuan’s face burned with shame. He truly felt less than human at this moment—he’d once tried to kill Evan, never imagining the junior he despised would rise so high. Regret was useless now; all he could do was drown his feelings in wine.

“Today is the wedding day for me, Yvonne, Lynn, and Serena. You’re Yvonne’s father, so I’ll call you ‘father-in-law’—but after everything you’ve done to me, you hardly deserve that title. For Yvonne’s sake, you and your wife can choose a quiet place to retire and enjoy your remaining years. I think you know exactly what I mean.” Evan said bluntly.

If you feel wronged, you’re free to leave—I won’t stop you. This is already the greatest mercy I can offer. I’ll drink this cup on Yvonne’s behalf as my final gesture to you.” Evan finished, then drained his wine in one go.

Xander Xuan’s face flushed. “Palace Lord Evan, I was blind back then. I shouldn’t have treated you and Yvonne that way, but the past is past. I hope you won’t hold it against me. I’ve already thought things through—a peaceful, idle old age sounds pretty good now.”

After toasting everyone else, Evan left the hall, feeling relieved—he’d finally settled things with Xander. In the past, he wouldn’t have hesitated to kill Xander, but for Yvonne’s sake, he’d held back again and again. This was the best solution.

He couldn’t trust Xander to help manage Frostbane Imperial Palace—there was always a risk, and Evan refused to let his guard down.

After making a round of the martial field, Evan returned to his bridal chamber. He’d waited so long for this day, and now that his wish had come true, he felt a surge of pride.

He pushed open the door—his three brides sat by the edge of a massive bed, the room decorated everywhere in festive red. The huge ‘double happiness’ character on the wall stood out, as did the red bedding, pillows, and the brides’ crimson dresses and veils.

Before Evan entered, the three women had clearly been discussing something, but now they fell silent. If you listened closely, you could hear their hearts beating faster—nervous, because they knew exactly what was about to happen next.

Evan walked over to the bed and lifted their veils. “My three madams, sorry for keeping you waiting! Today is our big day—we have to share a wedding toast!” he teased.

“Evan, now that we’re your women, can you promise us one thing? It’s the only condition we have.” Yvonne Xuan said seriously.

“What do you want me to promise? Don’t tell me you want me not to touch you—after waiting this long, I can’t accept that! Anything else, I’ll agree to.” Evan joked.

“That’s not it. You already have enough women—we just hope you won’t keep adding new sisters for us. We’ve been in the Immortal Realm for so long now, and I think you should go down to the lower realm to see the women still waiting there. With your power, plus Nolan Nangong and Jade Qin’s help, you should be able to break the barrier.” Yvonne Xuan explained.

“I’ve thought about that too. Once I finish my current cultivation plans—and after Coldshroud Imperial Palace is destroyed—I’ll go. Leaving Zane Zuo alive is too dangerous; I won’t let that threat linger.” Evan said.

Evan didn’t immediately answer the women’s condition, which made them unhappy. “Evan, you still haven’t answered us—are you planning to keep adding sisters?” Fairy Lynn pressed him.

“Of course I can agree to that. But don’t forget Macy Mei—she’s still in seclusion. Surely you’re not saying she can’t become my wife? If so, I can’t accept it. Macy has sacrificed so much for me, and I’m not a heartless man. You should understand that.” Evan replied seriously.

“We never meant Macy! If she were out of seclusion, she’d be marrying with us today. We’re talking about other unfamiliar women.” Serena Frost clarified.

“No problem—I can promise you that. Now, can we finally share our wedding toast? I’ve waited long enough!” Evan grinned.

The three women blushed deeply, but their eyes sparkled with anticipation—Evan saw it clearly.

After they drank, Evan had them lie back on the bed. “Yvonne should have been my first woman—we’ve been through so much together, and I’ve dreamed countless times of holding her in my arms. Tonight, I’ll finally make that dream come true, so I hope you two can understand.”

The other two nodded shyly and turned away, while Yvonne’s face flushed bright red. “Evan, be gentle—I’m afraid it’ll hurt!” she whispered.
