The guard replied, "Not sure, but it should be soon."
"If she really manages to return to the Fiend Realm, I'd like to see how Black Hand Gate explains themselves." Second Young Master Fenn spent fifteen hundred million, and if he doesn't even get news of her death, he'll be banging his head against the wall.
"Young Master, that won't happen. Black Hand Gate will definitely make another move," the guard said.
"Good, that's what I want to hear." Second Young Master Fenn was eagerly awaiting news.
Inside a grand hall on the Sacred Mountain, the Alchemy Saint Hand, Rex Yale, and Carter were gathered.
"They've left?" the Alchemy Saint Hand asked.
Carter nodded. "Yes, they've all left."
"Unbelievable! They just walked out of Sacred Mountain like that." The Alchemy Saint Hand was furious.
It was Carter's first time seeing the Alchemy Saint Hand so angry—he was usually so calm. Rex Yale hadn't expected his senior brother to lose his temper either, but thinking about it, it made sense. He still couldn't believe Evan Yang managed to refine nine pills.
"Senior brother, just who is that kid anyway?" Rex Yale asked suspiciously.
"I don't know. I thought he was just an ordinary alchemist, but it turns out he was hiding his strength the whole time. Damn it," the Alchemy Saint Hand said angrily.
"So what do we do now?" Rex Yale asked.
"He took our things, ruined our reputation, and thinks he can just walk away? Hmph, he's dreaming," the Alchemy Saint Hand snorted coldly.
"Senior brother, you mean...?" Rex Yale realized the Alchemy Saint Hand was serious.
"Carter, arrange for someone to tail them. As soon as that kid is alone, bring him in." The Alchemy Saint Hand knew the woman with them wasn't simple, so he planned for Carter to act when Evan Yang was alone.
Carter frowned. "What if they stick together the whole time?"
"Don't worry. He'll end up alone," the Alchemy Saint Hand said with a smile.
Carter didn't understand what the Alchemy Saint Hand meant, but went off to carry out the orders. Rex Yale, meanwhile, was curious. "Senior brother, how do you know they'll split up?"
"A few days ago, someone from Black Hand Gate showed up on our Sacred Mountain. I didn't step in, but I noticed he was targeting that woman. So I'm guessing I'm right—someone wants her dead. As for who hired them, I don't know. All that matters is that kid gets a chance to be alone." The Alchemy Saint Hand smiled.
"So that's it. Who's rich enough to hire Black Hand Gate?" Rex Yale asked, both shocked and suspicious.
"No idea, but that's not our concern. We shouldn't get involved in Fiend Realm matters. If it weren't for representing the Human World, I wouldn't even bother competing with them," the Alchemy Saint Hand said with a laugh.
Rex Yale nodded, but he couldn't help feeling a knot in his heart—Evan Yang had beaten him, the first person ever to do so since he started his career.
After leaving the Sacred Mountain, Evan Yang, Faye Gale, Elder Shaw, and the others returned to their original inn, where they found those who had been confined there.
"They're all unconscious now. Should we take them back?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"Yeah, we have to take them back. Let's use the flying ship—leave the planet, then fly slowly back," Elder Shaw replied.
"Elder Shaw, take the captives ahead using the ship. Faye and I will catch up soon," Faye Gale suddenly said.
"You're planning to mess around again? No way, we're all going back together." Elder Shaw was worried Faye Gale would cause trouble, so he shook his head.
"Elder Shaw, I really have something to do. I'll be back as soon as it's done," Faye Gale insisted.
Evan Yang looked at Faye Gale curiously, wondering what business could possibly involve him.
Elder Shaw stubbornly refused, but Faye Gale used every trick she had until she finally forced Elder Shaw to leave.
