The Most Suitable Continent for Cultivation

12/19/2025

Victor Chao moved swiftly, and even Duke Ching, who was only at the mid Genesis Realm, wasn't slow. But to Joe Di, their speed was no faster than a snail.

The laws here were indeed very different from those of the Five Elements Universe, but as someone who cultivated the Dao of Laws, Joe Di quickly found their commonalities. The cosmic laws here actually complemented those of the Five Elements Universe. In other words, if the Chaos Gate were opened and the laws of the Inner and Outer Realms of the Five Elements Universe were merged, with the Chaos Essence dispersing, cultivators of the Five Elements Universe would surely reach a higher understanding of the Dao.

Even if it was for nothing else, just for Celestial Beyond and the Taiji Realm, Joe Di had decided to destroy this Chaos Gate.

Joe Di extended his spiritual sense and found that the void in this universe was extremely clean—so clean that not even a fragment of a meteorite could be seen. Let alone the sight of shattered planets drifting through the void.

It seemed this universe truly hadn't been ravaged. After all, if cultivation resources were abundant everywhere, who would have time to fight? Most would devote all their time to cultivation. If that were the case, compared to the cultivators here, at least Joe Di had his own advantage. From the very beginning, his cultivation had been a struggle for survival. Compared to the cultivators here, he had far more experience. So what if they've lived longer? When it comes to fighting, experience is what matters.

After only a few days, Victor Chao came to a stop. Without needing to say anything, Joe Di and Sawyer Walker could already see what lay ahead.

A vast, boundless continent stretched before them. This was no planet, but a landmass so immense it obscured all the void ahead.

Even before stepping onto the land, Joe Di and Sawyer could feel the rich vitality emanating from it.

"This is the place. Come with me, both of you." Victor Chao stepped forward onto the vast continent.

After Joe Di and Sawyer Walker followed, they discovered that the continent had no protective Guardian Array at all, seamlessly merging with the void.

That wasn’t the main point. What mattered was that, as soon as Joe Di and Sawyer set foot on this continent, they were enveloped by an incredibly dense Chaos Essence. This Chaos Essence wrapped tightly around the land and did not leak into the void. Standing here, one could simply take out a spatial treasure and collect Chaos Essence at any time.

Even without cultivating, Joe Di could feel his cultivation rapidly rising. Since stepping into Realm Genesis, this was the first time he’d felt his power increase so quickly.

After breaking through the chaos boundary within the vast chaos, one could also obtain dense Chaos Essence, but that kind of Chaos Essence was entirely different from what was found here.

There, only the one who opened the domain could cultivate the Chaos Essence, and it carried a strong imprint of their personal Dao laws. But here, the Chaos Essence existed purely for cultivation. Not only were all cosmic laws clear, but everything was also incredibly pure.

Joe Di drew a sharp breath. To cultivate here for tens of millions of years—what kind of power would that produce? The Dao Master behind Victor Chao must have cultivated here all this time; his strength must be unimaginable by now.

Joe Di didn’t believe this place had been split open by force. He’d split open chaotic worlds himself, and even if they could grow, they would never reach this level. And this was only the Inner Realm of the Five Elements.

It was very likely that the Five Elements Universe hadn’t been split open by anyone. As for how it was formed, Joe Di had absolutely no clue.

"So the Chaos Essence of the Five Elements Universe is here. No wonder..." Sawyer Walker drew a sharp breath, instantly understanding the truth.

Compared to Joe Di, he had seen and learned much more. Even if he hadn’t known this was the Inner Realm of the Five Elements, which imprisoned nearly ninety percent of the universe’s Chaos Essence, now that he was here, he understood everything.

He felt sorrow for Dominic Du. If the Chaos Essence of the Five Elements Universe hadn’t been locked away in this Inner Realm, Dominic Du’s power would probably have torn open the cosmic plane long ago.

"Come with me to meet the Dao Master," Victor Chao said with a cheerful smile to Joe Di and Sawyer.

Meet the Dao Master? Sawyer Walker looked at Joe Di in confusion; he had no intention of meeting any Dao Master. This place was the perfect spot for him to return to the Creation Realm—who had time to meet some so-called Dao Master?

Joe Di chuckled, "Go ahead, Victor. I can see this is an excellent place to cultivate, so I plan to train here for a while."

"You’re not going to meet the Dao Master?" Victor Chao asked Joe Di, puzzled.

Joe Di’s expression darkened. "Victor, what does your Dao Master have to do with me? Why should I go see him? I only said I’d enter the Chaos Gate with you, not that I’d meet any Dao Master."

"Earlier, you said you knew where Emperor Ye went..." Victor Chao’s face grew a bit ugly.

Joe Di smiled slightly. "That’s right, I do know where Emperor Ye went. So what?"

"Very well, then. Do as you wish, both of you. I’ll take my leave." Victor Chao wasted no more words, swept up Duke Ching, and vanished without a trace.

Once Victor Chao disappeared, Joe Di’s expression grew serious. He was certain he couldn’t match that Dao Master right now. In a place like this, even a pig would become a Dao Master after millions of years. And according to Victor Chao, the Chaos Essence here was already far less than what it used to be.

If he wasn’t a match for that Dao Master, why go and meet him? That would be suicide. At that moment, Joe Di realized he was in danger—mainly because he’d revealed a World Tree Branch. Still, he didn’t regret it; having the Rift Dao Token in his hands was far better than it being in the Dao Master’s possession.

Perhaps, within the Chaos Gate, his Rift Dao Token is the only one that exists.

"Daoist Di, I shall take my leave as well. This is truly a wonderful place..." Sawyer Walker clasped his fist to Joe Di and was about to depart.

Joe Di sighed and said, "Daoist Sawyer, if you heed my advice, do not try to seize that World Tree Branch. The Dao Master behind Victor Chao is likely far more formidable than you. Even Dominic Du may fall short before him."

"What?" Sawyer Walker's expression changed. He had indeed intended to seize the World Tree Branch. With Joe Di present earlier, he hadn't had a chance to act.

"Believe it or not, it's up to you. Fortunately, there's no Guardian Array here, so I can leave at any time..." Before Joe Di could finish his sentence, he sensed something amiss.

Before he could continue observing, Sawyer Walker chuckled, "Daoist Di, you think there's no Guardian Array here? Let me tell you, not only is there one, but it's the highest-grade Prime Chaos Array, including entrapment and annihilation. It only takes a dozen breaths to activate..."

Before Sawyer Walker finished speaking, Joe Di's figure flickered and vanished without a trace.

Sawyer Walker's expression changed; without the slightest hesitation, he followed Joe Di and fled the continent, disappearing into the void.

Almost at the very instant Joe Di and Sawyer Walker escaped from the Vastbound Continent, the Prime Chaos Array activated. Looking back now, there was no longer a hint of verdant vitality in the continent.

Joe Di didn't stop for a moment; his speed only increased. In fact, as soon as he mentioned leaving, he sensed something wrong, and immediately detected the top-tier natural Entrapment and Annihilation Array. Fortunately, he escaped quickly.

After escaping the Vastbound Continent, Sawyer Walker chose a direction completely opposite to Joe Di and swiftly fled. Joe Di's strength was certainly not inferior to his, and Joe Di was never one to shrink from trouble. Now that Joe Di turned and fled, would Sawyer dare stay and wait for death?

......

"Uncle Chao, has the array been activated yet?" Duke Ching, following Victor Chao, couldn't help but ask.

Victor Chao breathed a sigh of relief. "Yes, it's activated. Fortunately, I have the authority to activate the array here on behalf of the Dao Master. Otherwise, Joe Di would have quickly caught on—he's no ordinary person. Let's go, we must meet the Dao Master at once. The appearance of the World Tree is as significant as the Three Golden Pages. Since I activated the continent's array, the reclusive experts here will surely be investigating the cause."
