In the twelfth month of the First Year of the Kang Era, the official era name was changed to Blessed Celebration Era.
A general amnesty was declared across the land; the people cheered, and the celebrations lasted an entire month.
As for those little neighboring states—after witnessing Ivy Shen’s utterly overwhelming display in battle, they didn’t even bother negotiating. They just surrendered on the spot.
Very soon, the Soaring Phoenix Realm became the number one power in the Serpent Realm, with the Chu Kingdom coming in second.
But everyone knew—the emperor of Chu Kingdom was the man of the Soaring Phoenix empress.
So basically, Soaring Phoenix and Chu were one big happy family!
With that, Soaring Phoenix’s momentum only grew stronger—across the whole Serpent Realm, they were now the undisputed dragon-head boss!
With the crowd shouting and cheering, Ivy Shen ascended as the new female emperor.
Little Snowball flashed his golden tail and, in the midst of all the cheers, was named Crown Prince of the Soaring Phoenix Realm.
Yvonne Li was granted the title Princess Yvonne of Melody, and Lacey Shen became Princess Lacey of Paintings.
Both sisters regained the imperial surname Song and were granted lavish residences.
Yvonne Li felt awkward being called Senior Princess—it seemed so distant and not as free as before.
But Ivy Shen thought this was exactly what she deserved—after all, she was a princess!
After learning Yvonne Li’s true identity, the people didn’t mind her past actions—they honestly accepted her as their princess.
Yvonne Li cried many times—she’d never imagined Ivy Shen would treat her so well. She never cared about riches or status, and never thought she could become a princess again. What moved her most was Ivy announcing her identity to the entire serpent people and restoring her Song surname.
How could she not be moved? She’d never dreamed she’d one day openly bear the Song name—a name that once felt impossibly distant.
But now, it was truly hers.
And the one who gave her all this was Ivy Shen.
Her younger sister—same father, different mother—but she truly treats her as family.
For Ivy Shen, Yvonne Li was sincere—when she learned Ivy’s true identity, she never hesitated, but always stayed by her side.
Whenever war broke out, Yvonne Li was always the first to charge forward—she’s a truly good, sincere big sister.
Ivy Shen is a simple person—if someone treats her well, she’ll treat them ten times better.
Yvonne Li is truly sincere with her, so Ivy naturally treats her sincerely too.
After Yvonne Li couldn’t refuse anymore, she accepted the princess title with tears and a smile.
Princess Yvonne of Melody!
Soon, Ivy Shen had all of Yvonne Li’s male favorites from Lark City brought to the capital.
Every one of those men truly liked Yvonne Li and treated her sincerely. Yvonne may have been a bit ‘outrageous,’ but she never threatened or forced her male favorites—they all joined willingly.
What surprised them was that Yvonne Li turned out to be the Senior Princess of Soaring Phoenix Realm.
What an honor! None of them had ever dreamed that following Yvonne Li would lead to such a huge change in status.
But before they could even celebrate this honor...
Oh man, this is hilarious! Just think about it—they show up, you hold a selection, then bring them into the palace, and then slowly weed them out, one by one. Seriously, how fun is that?
“Right? Isn’t it? Isn’t it?”
Unfortunately, she was asking the wrong crowd!
The Seven Husbands all looked at her like she’d just declared war—every single face was thunderous!
“Hey, Little White Rabbit, why the long face? Don’t start copying Poison Snake now!”
“Heh, Poison Snake, look, I’m just bored, okay? Seriously, just bored!”
“Qingcheng, Qingcheng, where are you going? What do you mean, feeding the baby? Little Snowball already ate! Hey, don’t walk away!”
“Hey! Dead Butterfly, when did you master that dead fish stare? Are you seriously rolling your eyes at me now?”
“Ethan Chu, Ethan Chu, I’m talking here! Hey, I’m talking—look at me!”
“Adrian Night, check it out, I’ve got gemstones—so many! Wanna come see? Hey, where are you going? What? Your mom’s coming?!”
“Hey, Spirit Crane, you’re still the best! Come on, give me a little smile—yours is the sweetest! Seriously, I have zero ulterior motives, I’m just bored!”
Realizing she’d said the wrong thing, Ivy Shen quickly tried to explain herself, but every one of them just kept their icy faces and ignored her completely.
What could she do? That’s what she got for being so bold!
To the Seven Husbands, this was clearly provocation. Every day she was sizing up those other men—did she even have them in her eyes anymore?
Was all that recruiting really just for her big sis?

Hmph, maybe she had her own ideas too, huh?
So, even before their injuries were fully healed, the Seven Husbands stopped caring about Ivy Shen’s wounds and started taking turns ‘dealing with her.’
And they didn’t hold back—after all, they had stamina to spare. Besides, after wringing her dry all night, they’d have plenty of time to rest.
But poor Ivy Shen—she was late to morning court every day, dragging herself in red-faced and mortified.
So the Seven Husbands just took matters into their own hands and delayed morning court by a full hour.
The official reason? The imperial heirs are way too few and scrawny—gotta work hard to beef up the team!
All the ministers nodded furiously in agreement.
Ivy Shen was so embarrassed she wanted to dig a hole and hide.
And besides all that, Ivy Shen wasn’t exactly twiddling her thumbs.
There were still tons of loose ends—like her sister’s situation.
King Xiska Mon heard about the hundred husbands Ivy recruited for Princess Yvonne, and freaked out—he came running to confess that he’s in love with Princess Lacey of Paintings.
Ivy Shen was honestly pretty happy to hear his confession.
But happy or not, Ivy still had to push back.
“Why don’t you agree?” His golden eyes practically shot flames.
“Just not agreeing, because you’re not qualified,” Ivy replied, cool as ever.
“How am I not qualified?” His golden eyes flared up again.
“Because you’re not a one-woman man! You’ve got a whole harem—why should my sister be just another face in the crowd?”
Hearing that, King Xiska Mon finally got the picture. He immediately sent his fastest messenger back to Flame Valley with orders to dismiss all his other consorts.
From now on, his harem would have just one person—Princess Lacey Shen.
Ivy Shen had to admit, that was pretty decent—at least it showed a bit of sincerity.
Fine, she’d grudgingly give him a shot at getting close to Lacey Shen.
But whether she’d actually marry him? That was totally up to Lacey Shen.
With Ivy Shen laying it out like that, King Xiska Mon finally understood—it was all on him now.
So he ran off, tail wagging, and just couldn’t help blurting out to Lacey Shen that he loved her—really, really loved her.
Everyone was thrilled—they could all see these two were head over heels, and now that he’d confessed, there’d definitely be a wedding feast soon.
But to everyone’s shock, Lacey Shen actually turned King Xiska Mon down.
King Xiska Mon was crushed.
But he’d made up his mind—he wasn’t giving up.
Later on, Lacey Shen shut the manor doors and refused to see anyone.
King Xiska Mon was frantic—he didn’t dare barge in, not because of the guards, but because he couldn’t bear to see her cry.
Every time he saw her tears, his heart shattered!
So, after begging Ivy Shen for help, he dragged three or four of her husbands off to drink with him.
And wow, could he drink—he could knock back a thousand cups and still stay standing! When the first three passed out, he just grabbed three more for another round.
Good thing Little White Rabbit hated booze and was out after three drinks. He spent all day glued to Little Snowball—unless Ivy Shen called, nothing could pry him away.
