Two Divine Crimson Pills

"Thank you, Little Swallow."

The Golden Immortal Swallow reluctantly returned to its nest, eyeing her warily.

"Senior, I'll head back now." Lucia Lu placed a few bottles of medicine beside her. "These Spirit Elixirs are for you."

The white-robed woman nodded. "Alright."

Lucia Lu gave a respectful bow and prepared to leave.

"Help me thank your Divine Father. Just tell him I appreciate it."

Lucia Lu: "..."

Was she actually sincere?

"Go on." The white-robed woman closed her eyes again.

Lucia Lu walked out.

After returning, Lucia Lu told Quentin Lian everything that had happened.

Quentin Lian nodded silently.

"Divine Father, I didn't expect her to be such a beautiful woman," Lucia Lu said. "Why did she attack the Radiant Palace back then—and wipe out the entire Divine Lord's household?"

During that great battle, the Radiant Palace was practically turned into a slaughterhouse—almost everyone perished.

The Divine Lord at the time was gravely wounded, and just two hundred years ago, died young.

The current Divine Lord, Soren Lann, was originally just a minor branch of the Lann family.

No one ever imagined he'd become the new Divine Lord...

Quentin Lian replied, "She did it for revenge."

"Revenge for what?"

"It's all ancient history now. Best not to mention it." Quentin Lian refused to explain.

Lucia Lu narrowed her eyes. "Divine Father, you don't have some secret history with her, do you?"

"What could I possibly have going on with her?"

"Guess what she said to me when I was leaving?"

"What did she say?"

"She asked me to thank you!" Lucia Lu said. "You're the one who locked her up, and she still wants me to thank you? Isn't that a little weird?"

Quentin Lian laughed, "Absolutely not! Aren't you going to refine pills? I've cleared out the Alchemist's Pill Room for you. Go on!"

"No way, you need to explain!" Lucia Lu grabbed hold and wouldn't let him go.

Quentin Lian sighed, "She was actually a fiend."

"She told me that," Lucia Lu said. "And then?"

"Her looks were ruined by demonic corrosion," Quentin Lian said. "It was your ancestor, Divine Lord Lucas Lu, who healed her. So technically, our Lu family is her benefactor."

Lucia Lu: "Oh?"

"Besides, she's not actually a bloodthirsty person," Quentin Lian said. "Back then, she went berserk, and I subdued her with medicine. She never really blamed me. There's nothing going on, I swear!"

"Alright then!" Lucia Lu gave him a mock-threatening look. "High God Quentin! No matter what, you better not betray my mom! Or else... hmph hmph!"

"How would I dare?" Quentin Lian put on his best 'I'm so pitiful' face. "You four are always watching me for your mom! Besides, I'm not that kind of guy, am I?"

Lucia Lu nodded seriously, patted his shoulder, and said, "Honestly, we do trust you!"

Quentin Lian laughed, "Go on, you little rascal!"

...

Divine Crimson Pills are the highest-grade pills of all.

But Lucia Lu's alchemist rank is already at the top, so she can easily craft them herself.

There weren't many Golden Immortal Swallow Nests, so she only made two Divine Crimson Pills before returning to Dragon Abyss.

By now, three whole days had passed.

Xiao Chen still hadn't returned to camp.

Lucia Lu considered using a Messenger Charm to contact him, but decided against it.

When you use a communication talisman, others can overhear.

Not good.
