First Grip on the Sword Hilt

2/14/2026

Invincible!

As Evan Lynn spoke those words,

the golden longsword above his head had already fully taken shape.

The azure longsword above Azure Dragon's head exploded with waves of sword cries.

The two sword domains collided in an instant.

Azure and golden sword shadows flickered and blurred.

A powerful and terrifying pressure instantly changed the color of heaven and earth.

The sky was filled with golden and azure sword shadows, making everyone around turn pale with shock and horror.

How is this even possible?!

Everyone looked up, only to see that, in just a few breaths, the two longswords above the dome had already unleashed tens of thousands of swords!

Evan Lynn and Azure Dragon stood face to face at the heart of their sword domains, unmoving like rocks in a raging sea.

But everything around them had already changed.

Heaven and earth lost all color, clouds were sliced apart, and even the sky itself seemed ready to snap at any moment!

"So this is the power of Azure Dragon, the leader of the Four Saints and the peak of China!"

"Terrifying! No wonder—no wonder no one has ever seen Azure Dragon fight. Anyone who has faced him is already dead!"

"How is Master Lynn from Seacrest this strong, too?! He’s so young! Has his sword dao really reached Azure Dragon’s level?"

Everyone watching on screen was stunned.

Their faces were full of panic, as if witnessing something truly terrifying.

Everything happening right now had already shattered their understanding of 'sword.'

The golden sword was utterly indestructible; the azure sword, razor-sharp with every swing.

Together, they could bring down heaven and earth!

The defeated Upper-Grade Lynn clan members stared, utterly horrified.

"Azure Dragon... Is this the Azure Dragon that was trained by That One?!"

"How can Azure Dragon be this strong? He... he was just a servant of our Upper-Grade Lynn clan!"

"Why, why is Master Lynn from Seacrest so powerful, too?!"

"This isn’t scientific—it makes no sense!"

The horror gripping the Upper-Grade Lynn clan members was beyond words.

Vermilion Bird stared deeply at the scene before her, a wave of bitterness rising in her heart.

Earlier...

She had actually crossed hands with Master Lynn from Seacrest?

The fact that Master Lynn from Seacrest didn’t kill her on the spot probably meant he’d already given her enormous face.

"This Master Lynn from Seacrest is seriously scary," Black Tortoise took a deep breath.

"No wonder Azure Dragon insisted he join Moonshade. Now, it looks like not only could he join Moonshade, he could easily make it into Hidden Dragon too."

White Tiger sighed, "Each generation brings forth its own talents."

"This kid—even if he has Upper-Grade Lynn blood in him, he’s way too overpowered."

"Is he... really someone from this era?"

White Tiger was stunned, full of sudden realization.

Jenna Jiang was already in a daze—she had no idea what to say at this point.

She’d even lost the ability to think.

She’d thought Master Lynn from Seacrest had only just entered Heavenly Phenomenon.

But now, what was happening before her eyes—it couldn’t possibly be just Heavenly Phenomenon!

The sky was filled with swords!

Swords!

Sword qi!

Sword intent!

Sword domain!

The vast and terrifying aura made everyone's soul tremble, as if they could be swept up and buried by this sword domain at any moment!

In the air, countless grand patterns appeared—hidden and complex.

"What are those things...?"

Kevin Qin stared at the various patterns stirred up by the sword light.

He couldn’t understand it, but he just felt waves of ancient, profound meaning washing over him.

Just looking at it made his heart and mind stir.

It was an unfathomable feeling, deeper than deep.

"That’s the power of sword domain laws."

Li Hanbin spoke, his voice cold and hard: "When sword domains clash, it’s all about the power of law."

"Whoever’s law is stronger, wins."

"Just like the Heavenly Dao hanging overhead—there’s always a higher sky, and only the strongest Dao sets the law for all below."

"Law means rules, and rules can’t be broken."

As Li Hanbin spoke,

Jenna Jiang and Kevin Qin couldn’t help but glance at him.

They saw a faint, mysterious smile on Li Hanbin’s face.

He stared at the scene before him, watching the grand and majestic clash of sword domains, his eyes shining: "Not bad at all."

"Who’d have thought that, in this world, someone could comprehend sword domains like these."

"Genius. Genius."

He said 'genius' twice in a row.

But despite his words, his face showed none of the shock everyone else had.

It was as if this terrifying scene was just everyday life for him, something he’d seen countless times before.

This made Jenna Jiang and Kevin Qin stare in confusion.

They exchanged a look, both wanting to ask what was up with Li Hanbin.

They’d asked before, too.

But Li Hanbin never responded at all.

Now, though...

Li Hanbin seemed stranger and stranger, so much so that they felt a bit afraid.

Up ahead.

The terrifying clash between the two sword domains surged wave after wave.

The ground all around was completely leveled.

It had been a landscape of shattered rocks after the battle.

But now...

The broken stones were enveloped by the two sword domains, all sliced into fine sand. The sand covered the ground, making it perfectly smooth.

Each round of sword domain duels looked, to outsiders, like a dazzling sci-fi spectacle.

Danger.

Killing intent everywhere.

Beyond imagination.

Azure Dragon’s blue robe fluttered; his expression unchanged as he watched Evan Lynn not far away.

It looked like the two sword domains were locked in a balanced standoff.

But...

Azure Dragon glanced down at his robe, blown by the fierce wind.

On the hem of his blue robe, several tiny tears had already appeared.

A lock of Evan Lynn’s black hair at his temple was sliced off, drifting to the ground.

Azure Dragon’s wine gourd hung at his waist; now, the gourd itself was covered in tiny cracks.

The cracks grew larger and larger.

Around them, the azure sword shadows and the golden sword light continued to clash back and forth.

Light and shadow flickered.

Azure Dragon looked up at Evan Lynn, suddenly smiling.

"I never expected this."

"I really didn’t expect you’d hide your strength so well."

Azure Dragon sighed in admiration.

He spoke from the heart.

"You’re stronger than I imagined."

Evan Lynn nodded, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

"If I’d known earlier, maybe I could’ve gone even further."

"A pity. An enormous pity."

"You truly are That One’s child."

Azure Dragon took a deep breath.

His wine gourd shattered in the sword light. He reached for his waist, grasping the hilt of the bamboo sword that had never been drawn from its sheath.

"If it were him, you and I would drink together."

"But today, you cannot win."

Azure Dragon spoke with absolute determination.

As his hand gripped the hilt, the bamboo sword sheath at his waist had already shattered completely.
