Kill Them All

1/5/2026

"Well said! Then let's just play bait and lure them out!" Lynn Long instantly burst out laughing, clearly not the least bit bothered. Qianqian also gave a faint smile, obviously not taking these guys seriously at all.

Night slowly fell over all of Dragon City. The whole city was lit up, sprawling and vast—Ryan Ling felt that even a hundred War Cities couldn't compare. Dragon City ranks fourth among all the great cities of the Immortal World, with three even greater giants above it: Immortal City, Earth City, and Heaven City. Those cities are even bigger, and they're hiding powers so strong that they might be beyond Immortal Kings. Above Immortal Kings are the Heaven-and-Earth Longevity tier, and above that, the terrifying Immortal Lords—their power is just insane!

At this moment, Ryan had just found a place to rest—a pretty remote little inn. The trio wasted no time, all sitting cross-legged inside to cultivate. The King of a Hundred Cities Tournament was almost here, and with things so tense, any chance to level up was golden.

But just as they were focusing on boosting their power, a wave of ghostly auras appeared nearby. No need to guess—they were people from Ghost City. These guys had already quietly surrounded the entire inn, thinking Ryan's group were trapped and ready for the taking.

"Alright, we've got the whole inn surrounded—knock everyone inside and out unconscious!" barked one of the masked guys.

"Boss, that's way too slow. Why not just kill them all and be done with it?" another masked lackey chimed in.

"What do you know? Do you even realize where we are? This is Dragon City! I told you, don't stir up trouble here—just knock them out and that's it!" the boss immediately snapped back.

The others all nodded. One of them couldn't help but ask, "What about that kid hanging around those two chicks?"

"Isn't it obvious? Take him out first! That punk's only good for being a dead ghost now!" the boss said, cutting straight to the point.

"Got it—I'll handle this one myself!" The masked lackey sounded excited.

"Alright, go for it! But I know exactly what you're thinking—don't get any funny ideas!" The boss warned, clearly knowing this guy's true colors.

The guy nodded right away, gave an awkward little laugh, then charged in without a second thought—obviously planning to cop a feel.

"Hey little beauty, all alone...?" The sleazy voice echoed out, but just as he spoke, he suddenly cut off—no one knew what happened, but in an instant, he went silent. Even his aura vanished.

"What the hell? Is that punk really that desperate? If he touches those two girls, I'll castrate him myself!" the boss yelled.

"Relax, boss, he wouldn't dare go too far—might just try to sneak a grope at most!" another lackey called out.

"Wait a sec—something feels off. Do you guys smell a faint whiff of blood?" the boss suddenly said.

"Yeah, kinda. Why is there a bloody smell? Did something happen?"

"No way, Old Seven's pretty strong. The other side didn't look tough, so how could they kill Old Seven without making a sound? That's impossible."

"Stop talking, just send a few guys over to check it out!" the boss barked, obviously nervous now.

"Got it, I'll go look."

"I'll go too."

......

Right then, two even slimier lackeys stepped up. Without a second thought, they turned into a gust of yin wind and slipped straight into Ryan's room.

"Old Three and Old Four are pretty reliable—this time they'll definitely get it done." An older guy whispered in the boss's ear.

The boss nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. But in the very next instant, two blood-curdling screams ripped out from Ryan's room—like two guys just got their manhood crushed. The sound was so brutal it was hard to even imagine. Everyone knew something had gone horribly wrong. The boss didn't hesitate for a second, charging straight in, and the rest of the Ghost City crew followed—over a dozen of them stormed the room, unleashing their power. In this area, their strength was nothing to scoff at. Instantly, a bunch of nearby experts turned to see what was happening, all trying to figure out the commotion.

"What the hell are the Ghost City freaks up to? Killing people in broad daylight—do they even care about Dragon City at all?"

"No kidding! The King of a Hundred Cities Tournament is about to start, and they're pulling this crap now? Do they have a death wish or something?"

"Forget it—Ghost City isn't easy to mess with, and they aren't pushovers. Better keep quiet. Besides, their young master is supposed to be crazy strong, almost at Half-Step Saint Immortal level. He's considered a prodigy back home and might even be the next Ghost City Lord. So just let it slide—as long as he doesn't stir up something huge, let him do whatever."

"True. The ones getting attacked are just juniors, not real experts. Whatever—people dying before the tournament is pretty normal anyway."

All around, the Dragon City crowd started talking. They clearly weren't happy about Ghost City's antics, but nobody stepped in to stop them. Ghost City wasn't the type you wanted to mess with—getting involved meant nothing but trouble.

Suddenly, someone shouted, "Something's off! Just now, the whole area was bursting with killing intent, like it could blow any second. But now—do you feel it? There's no movement at all, almost like every aura just vanished. What the hell happened?"

"Yeah, it's super weird! Even if you're strong, your aura shouldn't just disappear. Maybe the target they attacked was some top-tier expert—otherwise this never would've happened," another person chimed in.

"Let's go—hurry over and check it out. We can't afford any screw-ups!" Realizing something was wrong, several Dragon City patrol experts jumped into action. They were responsible for security in this area, so if anything went south, they'd be held accountable. Multiple powers rushed over at once.

"What the—where is everyone? How is the room totally empty?" When they barged in, they found the whole place spotless—no one there, no sign of a struggle, just perfectly clean.

"This is nuts! Where'd everyone go? Even if Ghost City's people are freaky, they couldn't have vanished this fast—it looks like they just disappeared into thin air!" someone else called out, clearly in disbelief.

But in the middle of the group, one older guy was sweating buckets. He suddenly said, "No need to guess—this time we definitely ran into a top-tier expert. Whoever did this is insanely strong. Even though there's no evidence, I can feel it: all those Ghost City guys are dead. Not just their bodies—their souls got wiped out in an instant. That's why there's no trace left at all."

As soon as he said that, everyone in Dragon City was left stunned.
