The three gold-armored commanders sat in meditation. Gold Three opened his eyes and looked curiously at Silver Nine and Silver Ten. "What brings you here?"
"We have a report to make," Silver Nine said.
Gold Three raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What is it?"
Silver Nine produced the piece of paper. When Gold Three saw the soul bound to it, his expression darkened. "What happened here?"
"We’re not sure. We were waiting outside the vortex when this paper suddenly flew out," Silver Nine explained.
Gold Three frowned at the paper. "Looks like something happened inside."
"Lord Gold Three, do you know what’s inside?" Silver Nine asked curiously.
"That’s not something you need to know. But right now, I’ll have to trouble you two. Where are Silver Five, Silver Six, Silver Seven, and Silver Eight?" Gold Three asked.
"Silver Seven and Silver Eight are guarding the northwest cave. Silver Five and Silver Six are probably cultivating," Silver Nine replied.
Gold Three glanced at Silver Nine. "Go bring Silver Five and Silver Six here for me."
Silver Nine nodded, then he and Silver Ten left. As they walked out, Silver Nine frowned and asked, "Why won't Lord Gold Three tell us what's inside?"
"I don't know, maybe he thinks we're too weak," Silver Nine sighed.
"Maybe. So what do we do now?" Silver Ten asked, frowning.
"Let's just do as Lord Gold Three said and call Silver Five and Silver Six," Silver Nine said helplessly. Silver Ten agreed, and they contacted the two.
The two were brothers, nearly identical in appearance, but their armor was different. Both wore silver armor, but one had a lion's head engraved on his breastplate, the other a tiger's head.
Both asked in unison, "What's up?"
"Gold Three wants to see you two. Go in here—it's quicker," Silver Nine said.
Silver Five and Silver Six looked at the unfamiliar vortex. They were forbidden from coming here, but Silver Nine and Silver Ten seemed sincere, so the brothers entered with a flash.
Silver Nine snorted, "We're always at the bottom. Everyone thinks we're weak!"
"Isn't it true? Who told us we're ranked last?" Silver Ten replied, already used to it.
As for Silver Five and Silver Six, after entering, they saw three gold-armored men. Two had their eyes closed, and only one was waiting with his eyes open.
"Gold Three, sir," Silver Five and Silver Six said together.
"Good, you're here," Gold Three said.
"We don't know why you called us, sir?" they asked in unison.
Gold Three produced a piece of paper. The twins frowned when they saw it and asked together, "What is this?"
"Silver Four went on a mission, but it seems his body was destroyed and his soul gravely injured. Now I need you two to go check it out," Gold Three said.
"Please instruct us," Silver Five and Silver Six said.
"Take these two tokens. Go out and re-enter the vortex, and you'll reach the inside. Find the two people I'm looking for. You can ask Silver Nine and Silver Ten for details," Gold Three said.
The twins nodded, took the tokens, and went outside. Seeing Silver Nine and Silver Ten, they immediately asked about what happened.
After learning about Evan Yang and Gavin White, the twins took the tokens and went to search for their whereabouts.
Unfortunately, Evan Yang's soul was outside his body, which was overloaded, unable to return. He could only watch his body change, while Gavin White remained with eyes closed.
Faced with this, Evan Yang could only wait, hoping Gavin White would wake soon and that outsiders would take longer to find them.
Despite his hopes, Silver Five and Silver Six found Gavin White and the fallen Evan Yang after several hours.
Evan Yang was startled when the two silver-armored men approached, but didn't dare disturb Gavin White, fearing his body's aura would become chaotic like before with Silver Four.
Faced with this situation, Evan Yang could only force himself back into his body.
At that moment, Evan Yang's body was twitching uncontrollably. Silver Five and Silver Six walked up and said, "Come with us."
Even their speech is the same? Evan Yang was already annoyed by their identical looks, but now even their words and actions matched.
"What? Still thinking about something?" they asked.
"Can't you see my arms and legs aren't working?" Evan Yang sighed.
The twins looked at Evan Yang, then at Gavin White, feeling both were strange, so they stayed alert. Evan Yang smiled at their wary expressions, "What's with those looks?"
"Silver Four was defeated by you two, so it must have been when he wasn't on guard. We won't give you that chance," the twins said.
"Silver Four? You mean that silver-armored guy? Honestly, he was way too careless, but it wasn't just that," Evan Yang said, waving his arms and legs with a grin.
"No more nonsense. Come with us, or we'll make you," the twins said.
Evan Yang shrugged helplessly. "Is that how it's gonna be? Well, I'm not just going to surrender. Go ahead, make your move."
"Then we'll show no mercy," the twins said, attacking together. Instantly, Evan Yang felt a huge attack lock onto him. How was he supposed to fight these two? Should he eat more fruit? He worried that if he did, his body would really explode, so he quickly said, "Wait!"
"What, changed your mind?" The twins asked, curious when Evan Yang said 'wait.'
Evan Yang gave a wry smile. "Not exactly. But did you see those fruits up there? I can make them ripen instantly."
"Liar. Kid, you think we're going to fall for that?" The twins knew what those fruits were and didn't believe Evan Yang could do it.
Evan Yang saw they didn't believe him. "You really don't? Then I'll pick one and show you. Just don't rush to attack yet."
The twins exchanged a glance. Evan Yang was just an Immortal Sovereign; no matter what tricks he played, he couldn't escape. So they agreed and watched as Evan Yang climbed a branch, picked a fruit, and dropped down. "Watch closely," he said.
The fruit in Evan Yang's hand slowly changed from green to yellow. When the twins saw the yellow fruit, they were shocked, staring at Evan Yang in disbelief.

Evan Yang grinned. "Don't rush to take me away. Wouldn't it be better to absorb these fruits first? You'll get even stronger, right?"
The twins were tempted, and said in unison, "Don't try anything funny. We'll keep an eye on you."
So one of the twins took the fruit to absorb it, while the other watched Evan Yang.
Seeing this wasn't ideal, Evan Yang said to the one watching him, "Don't you want one too?"
"I'll wait until he finishes," Silver Six said, while Silver Five absorbed the fruit.
After all, the fruit only lasts for one hour. The twins didn't want to waste time leaving, so one absorbed it while the other watched, planning to switch next time.
So Silver Six watched Evan Yang, but Evan felt his body couldn't hold on and collapsed, his soul leaving his body. Evan's soul stared at the other, but Silver Six couldn't sense that Evan's soul had left.
Evan Yang saw this as a chance. He circulated Chaos Soul-Power—his soul's unique strength—and, once it reached a certain level, targeted Silver Six's vital point for a heavy strike.
Silver Six instantly felt something jolt deep in his soul and clutched his head, screaming. Silver Five also felt it, waking up and grabbing his own head.
"So that's it," Evan Yang muttered, realizing the two had some kind of connection.
Meanwhile, Silver Five and Silver Six searched the area for the source of the attack.
Just then, Evan Yang targeted Silver Five—whose aura was in chaos—and struck his vital point hard. Silver Five gasped for breath and cursed, "Who’s playing tricks?!"
Evan Yang hadn't expected his soul to be so useful at a critical moment. Since the two had no soul-protection treasures, he could harass them at will, driving them to set up barriers in hopes of figuring out what was happening.
With the barriers up, the twins felt a little safer, but those barriers were useless against Evan Yang, who could come and go as he pleased.
"Interesting," Evan Yang thought, feeling comfortable and free. Since the two had no soul-attacking or soul-defense treasures, he could toy with them however he wanted.
Finally, the twins shouted and dashed out of the area, leaving the region behind. After a while, they stopped.
Both of their souls felt terrible, but once outside, they realized the strange attacks had stopped. They figured the problem must be with that area.
The twins communicated silently with each other.
"Big brother, what do we do now?" Silver Six asked Silver Five, who frowned, "This is really weird. No matter what, we have to figure out what's going on."
"Yeah, otherwise we can't report to Lord Gold Three," Silver Six replied.
"Our bodies aren't hurt, it's all from the soul. If only we had a soul-defense treasure," Silver Five said, frowning.
"That probably only Silver Eight has, or maybe Lord Gold Two. But Gold Two is in seclusion, and Silver Eight is out on a mission. It's a hassle," Silver Six replied after thinking it over.
"How about this: I'll stay here and keep watch, you go ask Silver Eight to lend his treasure," Silver Five suggested after thinking it over.
"Silver Eight treats his treasure like his lifeblood. Without Lord Gold Three's orders, he won't hand it over," Silver Six mused.
"Then just explain everything to Lord Gold Three. I'm sure he'll understand," Silver Five said.
Silver Six nodded. "Alright, big brother, you stay here. I'll go now."
So Silver Five stayed behind while Silver Six left. Evan Yang noticed the twins had split up, but he didn't want to stray too far from his body to attack Silver Five. If his body got destroyed, it'd be trouble. So he stayed nearby, ready to attack their souls if anyone came close again.
Silver Five, unaware of the situation, hid in the shadows and watched the man and woman under the tree, muttering, "What's with these two? One's meditating, one's lying down—what are they doing?"
