In the distance, countless twisted vortices churned. I stood quietly atop a cruise ship I had crafted, surrounded by numerous real objects I had created. This place was on the verge of collapse.
Far away, houses occasionally shattered and crumbled. Using the illusory matter of this world, I forged real entities that caused the world to reject them. Yet, because they were made from the original materials of this world, they could not be expelled.
In the distance, the tornado formed of curse power continued its rampage. Aside from the illusory things born in this world, what I created could not be swept in. This phenomenon was truly strange.
The tornado’s reach kept expanding. The sky was filled with irregular, patchwork clouds, as if someone had cut out pieces from a photograph and pasted them onto the heavens. It looked surreal and unbelievable.
The curse tornado before me still raged. I decided not to create any more real objects, but instead to wait for this world to collapse, then find a way to destroy the gods they created. After reflecting on the brief battles with those gods over the past few days, I realized they too were made from the materials of this world—false, just like everyone else.
Having unraveled the composition of everything, I had thought of a solution. Against their endless power, only the Forsaken could resolve it. My own strength was useless against them—this was the cause of my predicament.
Although I wasn’t sure what was happening outside, I suspected the Forsaken had sensed the presence of these real objects they loathed. They would surely come.
My most urgent hope now was that 001 could sense it and come. Although the main body in the real world and 001 here had lost contact, I had witnessed 001’s strength in this world. He was stronger than the three gods created by the Emperor God.
Gradually, the black curse tornado in the distance absorbed all the nearby illusory objects, converting them into curse power. I took out the small gourd Samuel Young gave me, but it showed no reaction. It seemed the curse power here was not yet pure.
Only greater power of the same kind can crush it. I didn’t intend to waste my own strength—this was the most direct lesson I’d learned here. I am not one of the Forsaken, so my power means nothing to them. The same goes for Xu Fu’s strength.
Thinking carefully now, Zhang Qingyuan’s power worked against these forces because he possessed unwavering faith, as did Rachel Lan. I gave a bitter smile—faith, in my view, simply doesn’t exist.
I once tried, after witnessing Zhang Qingyuan and Rachel Lan’s experiences, to truly believe in something. Sadly, no matter how many times I tried, I couldn’t do it.
"Let’s get this over with."
I muttered, as the rumbling around me grew louder. I noticed the twisted spaces in the distance beginning to converge, and the city beneath me had shrunk considerably. All around lay a desolate desert; most of the city’s contents had already been devoured by the black curse tornado.
Cracks appeared in the ground, leaking streams of black energy. Now I was certain: this world’s self-destruction was caused by the presence of Saints. The Four Faith Spirits were born from faith, and such entities could never be tolerated in the Living World. That’s why they had to be purged.
The most direct solution was to transform everything into curse power and consume it all. Once the Saints left, the curse power restored the world’s original state. My actions reignited the world’s rejection, so it naturally generated curse power to try and devour what I’d made.
Everything I’d predicted came true, as curse power leaked from the ground and ensnared the things I’d created. But devouring these objects was difficult—they were made from the world’s own materials.
I drifted upward as the curse power intensified, my skin starting to burn. It wouldn’t be long before the place they used to seal me collapsed. When the surging curse power broke free, all the powers made from this world’s substance would be devoured—along with the approaching Forsaken.
Soon, everything before me seemed to dissolve. The city’s melting buildings turned into curse power, covering everything. The black curse power shifted from mist to liquid, but still couldn’t consume what I’d made.
With a thunderous crash, a black lightning bolt struck from the sky, and the world became an ocean of curse power. I watched my creations remain intact within the curse sea. Glancing around, I saw cracks forming in the twisted places far away. I became a white meteor, streaking rapidly toward the fissures.
With a sharp crack, sunlight burst through, revealing Oasis City bustling under its rays. Instantly, I shifted above the true Oasis City. A massive rift had opened behind me, and torrents of curse power surged out.
A sizzling sound echoed as anything touched by the curse power melted instantly. I searched everywhere for Xu Fu but saw no sign of him. I moved beyond the spreading curse power. The city’s people vanished one by one, and once again, red, blue, and gold statues sent beams of light skyward.

"Even you cannot resist the curse power this world generates on its own."
I had already left Oasis City’s boundaries. The gods they created seemed unable to bother with me anymore. Three blinding lights converged, forming three colossal giants. They rushed toward the rift, pressing their hands against it to stem the curse power’s flow.
But the curse power kept devouring their strength. I floated silently above the desert, watching as the overflowing curse power consumed everything in the city. It seemed impossible to contain. The three giants began to retreat, apparently planning to abandon this place.
"It’s a pity—the gods you created are useless now. Since I know how to deal with you, I’ll destroy everything you’ve made."
I shouted loudly, and from far off in the sky came a voice filled with rage.
"Heavenly Soul, if you do this, you’re cutting off our only chance to seal the Wraithlord."
In an instant, every building vanished from the ground. Immense power gathered in the sky, red, blue, and gold lights swirling together. Suddenly, a massive beam shot down at me.
"It’s unfortunate. My goal was to lure the Forsaken here. This place looks like an independent space you created, but it’s just a small part of the Living World."
As I spoke, I sensed a surge of hatred and immense anger approaching nearby.
With a thunderous crash, I turned to see Entity 001 appear beside me. She raised a finger and blocked the torrent of power rushing toward me.
"So you really are alive, all of you in this world."
Entity 001 giggled, visibly delighted. Suddenly, she exerted force, and the power before us dissipated. The sky cleared instantly—001 had scattered all the clouds.
"No matter what, in this world, you are invincible!"
I watched the numbers on Entity 001’s face—she remained the strongest Forsaken in this world.
Now, I could no longer sense the three adversaries. Entity 001 had crushed them in an instant. I breathed a sigh of relief, but still couldn’t find Xu Fu.
"Help me look—there should be one more who came in with me."
Entity 001 looked at me in confusion.
"Why are you here, Heavenly Soul?"
I smiled as I replied.
"Of course, I wanted to help you. If your power in this world could be transferred to the Living World, it would be a tremendous advantage—for you and for everything in the Living World."
Entity 001 glanced around.
"What about Earth Soul? Didn’t he come?"
I shook my head.
"By the way, what about Agent Seven?"
I asked, and Entity 001 shook her head.
"I haven’t seen any other Forsaken in a long time. I only came because I sensed a presence here I deeply dislike."
Entity 001 saw the things I’d created. With a wave of her hand, everything I’d made turned to ash. She looked satisfied.
"Come with me. With you here, I’ll have an easier time moving around in this world."
I spoke as Entity 001 looked around in confusion.
"When did this place even come into existence? I never noticed it before."
I hummed in response, now more certain than ever: this place was created by Emperor God and his followers to gather power, a part of the Living World. But what puzzled me was why we ended up in the world they created—and why Xu Fu was still missing.
