Royal Fish Eyes

"Hundreds of thousands?"

Hearing this terrifying number, everyone gasped in shock—even Harriet Gu couldn't hide the look of astonishment on her face.

Yoon Zhengyang's voice trembled: "Why are there so many Flying Spinefish? Did the ones before go off and bring reinforcements?"

"Of course they did! Why else would there be so many Flying Spinefish? It's all because of that group from Yan Hongbo—we're getting dragged down with them!" Kurt Kou said angrily, face twisted with resentment.

"Brother Huang, maybe we should just run for it?" Rose Changsun said, her face pale as a sheet.

"Yeah, let's run!"

At the mention of escape, everyone's eyes lit up, filled with a desperate will to survive.

Song Yan shook his head. "There's no way. We're surrounded by Flying Spinefish on all sides—how could we possibly escape? And Flying Spinefish swim faster than our boat. We can't outrun them. Our only option is to kill them all."

After a brief panic, with Song Yan blocking most of the Flying Spinefish attacks thanks to his strength, everyone quickly regained their footing.

As for the trailing boat, three people were wounded in the surprise attack by the Flying Spinefish. The fish were especially fierce, and two more were injured, leaving them in terrible shape.

"Hey, did Leon Huang just run off?"

Song Yan suddenly spoke up.

"Brother Huang, you're not really going to save them, are you?" Rose blurted out, unable to hold back.

Song Yan's twin swords flashed again and again, cutting down Flying Spinefish one after another. He explained, "There are just too many fish. The ten of us alone can't possibly wipe them all out. If we team up with the other boat, we might have a sliver of hope!"

After hearing Song Yan's reasoning, everyone dropped the matter and focused on killing Flying Spinefish, clearly agreeing with his plan.

Just then, Sam Gu suddenly spoke up: "Young Master Huang, whenever a Flying Spinefish school numbers over a hundred thousand, a Royal Flying Spinefish will be born. If you kill that royal, the whole school should retreat. But the royal hides deep in the swarm—if it doesn't show itself, it's almost impossible to find."

At the end, Sam couldn't help but sigh.

Leon Huang was everyone's hope. Hearing Robin Yan talk like that, Yoon Zhengyang, Eric Zhou, Kurt Kou and the rest all glared at him. If they weren't busy fighting off Flying Spinefish, they'd probably draw swords on him right now.

Even so, Yoon Zhengyang still said, "Brother Leon's skills are way beyond what you can imagine!"

Surrounded by so many hostile glares, Robin Yan was nearly driven mad with anger. He secretly thought: It'd be great if Leon Huang failed and got killed by the Flying Spinefish. But as soon as he had that thought, he realized—if Leon failed, he'd probably die too.

After a dozen breaths, Leon Huang asked Sam Gu, "Sam, is the Royal Flying Spinefish golden?"

"Young Master Leon, did you actually spot the Royal Flying Spinefish?" Sam exclaimed, his voice excited.

"That's right—I found it!"

Sam grew even more excited and thought for a moment. "That's fantastic! If we can kill it, we'll be free. Plus, the Royal Flying Spinefish's pair of eyeballs are rare treasures—swallowing them can boost your inner power, strengthen your meridians, and let you see underwater."

"Really?"

Leon just smiled. He wasn’t interested in the Royal Flying Spinefish’s eyes at all. With Clairvoyant Vision, not even layers of earth could block his sight, let alone water.

"Everyone, hold the line for a bit! I'm going to kill the Royal Flying Spinefish!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Leon leapt off the small boat, skimming across the sea like a flash of light.

With Leon gone, the pressure on the remaining nine instantly doubled. This time, they finally understood just how much he'd been shielding them. Fortunately, with both boats now together and supporting each other, they could still hold off the Flying Spinefish.

But with so many Flying Spinefish, if Leon couldn't kill the royal, they might survive for a while, but in the end they'd all be killed.

"Hey, did that Leon Huang just run off?"

Robin Yan suddenly called out to Rose Changsun.

Rose shot him a cold glare. "Don't slander Brother Leon. He's going to kill the Royal Flying Spinefish. Once it's dead, the rest will retreat."

Seeing Rose defend Leon so fiercely, Robin Yan was annoyed and sneered, "Royal Flying Spinefish? Never heard of it. Isn't this just an excuse to run away?"

"Just means you're ignorant. If you slander Brother Leon again, don't blame me for getting rough!" Harriet Gu suddenly spoke up, her tone icy as a blade.

"Exactly! Judging a gentleman by your own petty heart!" Yvette Xue chimed in.

Robin's face flushed red. He retorted, "So what if there's a Royal Flying Spinefish? It's hiding in the ocean. You think he can kill it? He'll probably get killed before he even gets close."

Leon was everyone's hope. Hearing Robin talk like that, Yoon Zhengyang, Eric Zhou, Kurt Kou and the rest all glared at him. If they weren't busy fighting off Flying Spinefish, they'd probably draw swords on him right now.

Even so, Yoon Zhengyang still said, "Brother Leon's skills are way beyond what you can imagine!"

Surrounded by so many hostile glares, Robin was nearly driven mad with anger. He secretly thought: It'd be great if that guy failed and got killed by the Flying Spinefish. But as soon as he had that thought, he realized—if that guy failed, he'd probably die too.
