Such a Relationship

Inside the ancient, fragrant manor, the air was thick with the clean scent of herbs. Deep within Endless Gorge stood a mysterious estate—the Vane Manor. Hidden in the gorge’s depths, outsiders who entered without a guide would be hopelessly lost in a maze.

At this moment, in a spacious room, pink gauze curtains fluttered softly in the breeze, and from behind the curtains came irregular moans.

“Oh... mm... ah...” A completely naked woman was straddling a man, her waist twisting and rolling with her own pleasure. Her long hair rippled in the breeze—a vivid scene of springtime passion.

“Only your body can make me feel this good.” The man was strikingly handsome, his lips curled in a smug smile. He sat on a chair inlaid with gold, gripping the woman’s butt with both hands.

“Jue, faster, oh, faster!” The woman sucked on her fingers, putting on a lewd show, while her other hand kneaded her own breasts. The man’s broad hand rested on her slim waist, roaming wherever it pleased, making her gasp and tremble uncontrollably.

“I wonder how shocked your little brother would be to see you like this.” The man sped up his movements, relentlessly driving himself inside her.

Hearing that, the woman—lost in passion a moment ago—suddenly opened her eyes, her face darkening. “Jue, you shouldn’t bring that up right now!” Clearly, she was very sensitive about the subject.

Seeing her reaction, the man roughly yanked her hair that had fallen over her chest. She bowed her head in pain, and he took the chance to seal her lips with his own.

A while later—

The man on the chair looked on in satisfaction as the woman got dressed.

“Lila, you’re always like this!” Song Zhijue sneered coldly, clearly irritated by her twisted affection.

Lila kept dressing as she replied, “Jue, I love him!” Her stance was clear. Right now, he needed her help, and her family had a life-and-death contract with his, so she couldn’t refuse—but she still knew what she truly wanted.

“You love him? But does he love you?” Song Zhijue scoffed, then glanced at Lila. “Haven’t you noticed that only our bodies are truly compatible?” He loved Lila’s body; the palace was full of women, but few could accommodate his size, and only Lila fit him perfectly.

“Jue, I told you from the start—he’s the one I love most.” Her meaning was clear: even with a royal contract, her feelings weren’t something to be controlled—especially not love.

Seeing this, Song Zhijue gave a faint, indifferent smile—cold inside. Not killing Lucian last time was truly a mistake.

“By the way, Jue, are you looking for that lost princess or crown prince from the Serpent Realm?”

“Lila, the only thing left outside is a bastard, not some crown prince or princess!” Song Zhijue replied icily, stressing every word.

“Sorry.” Lila knew she’d crossed a line and quickly apologized.

“She’s already helping me look. With her on the case, I’m sure there’ll be news soon.” Song Zhijue fiddled with the jade thumb ring on his finger, his words full of meaning.

Seeing this, Lila laughed, “Jue, you really know how to use people. Your master is loyal to you, that’s for sure!”

“Hmph, that’s exactly the kind of person I want.” He looked at her and shook his head with a helpless smile. “You’re the only little thing who ever dares defy me.” As he spoke, he tapped her nose, almost doting.

“Ugh, then I guess I’m really honored?” Lila threw herself into his arms with a pout. She loved Lucian, but she never resisted her physical cravings—and besides, she still needed Song Zhijue’s help to get rid of the woman who stole her brother!

“By the way, Jue, why did the formula you gave my master last time seem off?” Song Zhijue gently pushed Lila aside to ask. He liked her, but his real priority was seizing the throne.

“What was wrong with it? I gave her a perfectly genuine formula. Who knows how your poison master mixed it?” Lila sounded annoyed. In truth, she’d kept a couple of ingredients secret—never trust anyone completely. She’d seen how ruthless Song Zhijue could be; if he ever turned on her and Lucian, she’d be defenseless without a backup plan!

“Really?”

“Of course! That recipe is for a slow-acting poison. When my parents gave it to the Empress, they slipped it into that witch’s food bit by bit. You know her medical skills are top-notch—if the dose was too high, she’d notice right away. So you need time for a low-dose, chronic poison to build up.”

“Really?” Song Zhijue still felt something was off.

“What’s that supposed to mean? You don’t trust me? Fine, whatever.”

“Alright, alright, I trust you.” He dropped the topic and, tossing aside those annoying worries, started running his hands over her again. Every time he touched her, his desire erupted like a volcano—their bodies fit so tightly, it sent him straight to heaven!

“Jue, stop it! Didn’t you just have me already~!” she squealed, but didn’t stop him from undressing her. Her own hands slipped into his underwear, gripping his hardness and stroking it gently.

“Oh...” Lila’s skilled hands made Song Zhijue sigh with pleasure.

Knock knock knock—just then, a sudden knock on the door interrupted their fun.

“Who?!” Song Zhijue roared in annoyance.

“Your Highness, someone’s broken into Endless Gorge!” Song Zhijue’s personal guard called from outside.

Hearing that, Lila frowned. “Who would dare?” She looked at Song Zhijue. “Jue, you’d better go. I need to see who’s got the guts to barge into my Endless Gorge.” Her fierce look was a far cry from the tearful, fragile girl she’d been moments ago.

“Be careful.” With that, he gave her chest a hard squeeze, then called for his bodyguards to drag him out, clearly unhappy.
