After a long time, The Wraithlord finally found the Rainbow Stone left behind by Mother Goddess Nuwa to mend the sky. He was ecstatic, for this massive Rainbow Stone radiated a power unlike anything he had ever felt.
However, when The Wraithlord returned home, he discovered that no one was there. His wife, three children, and even his mother, Mother Goddess Nuwa, had vanished—gone without a trace.
The Wraithlord frantically searched the world for any sign of his loved ones, but found nothing. Once again, he was plunged into loneliness, sorrow, and rage.
The Gods who had taken The Wraithlord's wife and daughters needed time to prepare, ensuring they could completely destroy him. In just a few short years, The Wraithlord scoured countless corners of the world, finally uncovering the faintest clue.
After confirming everything, The Wraithlord realized his wife and daughters had been taken by The Gods. Doubt crept into his heart, as he wondered if his mother had helped them, making it possible for his family to be taken away. But he quickly dismissed the thought—Mother Goddess Nuwa was his mother, and he chose to trust her.
Once The Gods had finished their preparations, they descended upon the world again. The Wraithlord, consumed by fury, resolved to eliminate the threat once and for all—to kill The Gods.
Yet to The Wraithlord's torment, The Gods used his wife and children as leverage. Though enraged, he could not strike, forced to obey and follow The Gods into a shattered, illusory world.
It was a place devoid of light, only fragments remained. There, The Wraithlord finally saw his wife, daughters, and his mother, Mother Goddess Nuwa, standing with The Gods. He broke down in anguish, crying and roaring in fury.
"Give them back to me! Give them back...!"
No matter how he screamed or raged, facing the cold, indifferent Gods, The Wraithlord's cries could not reach their hearts. He could only submit to their conditions—if he fulfilled their demands, they might release his wife and children; otherwise, they would kill them.
Staring at his beloved wife and children, and at his mother, Mother Goddess Nuwa—her eyes as cold as those of The Gods—The Wraithlord was utterly hopeless. In the end, he gave in, though his wife and children cried out for him not to surrender.
The Gods' demand was simple: restore the laws of the world. The Wraithlord left the Shattered Unreal Realm and returned to this world, beginning to painstakingly restore it to its original state, just as The Gods commanded.
Years passed after everything was done. Now, Mother Goddess Nuwa began forging a weapon from the Rainbow Stone The Wraithlord had brought back—a weapon capable of killing him. Since his power was granted by her, she knew exactly how to end him, especially after so many years by his side.
The Wraithlord could not be killed by anyone else. When The Gods learned this, they were shocked—yet reassured to know he could be killed by his own mother.
Finally, after The Wraithlord fulfilled all of The Gods' demands, he was once again led back to the Shattered Unreal Realm.
Filled with anger and grief, The Wraithlord begged The Gods to spare his wife and children, promising never to interfere with the laws of that world again. But The Gods were determined: The Wraithlord and his family had to be eliminated, to put an end to this farce brought about by Mother Goddess Nuwa's whim.
A sword shimmering with rainbow light was placed before The Wraithlord—handed to him by the expressionless Mother Goddess Nuwa herself. He gazed at his mother in anguish, endlessly questioning why she had created them.
"Why did you create us? Why create us if you do not love us? Mother, why?"
Under the watchful eyes of The Gods, Mother Goddess Nuwa spoke their final demand: The Wraithlord must end his own life with the Rainbow Sword. Only then would his wife and children be spared.
The Wraithlord asked 'why' again and again, but there was not a hint of emotion in Mother Goddess Nuwa's eyes.
The entire space twisted under The Wraithlord's power—his sorrow, rage, and unwillingness filled every corner. Even the Shattered Unreal Realm itself trembled, spawning bizarre entities as his emotions and Human Passions and Desires erupted violently.
Loraine Locke and the three children kept shouting, urging The Wraithlord to kill The Gods and ignore their threats. In the end, The Wraithlord picked up the Rainbow Sword and drove it into his own heart.
Scarlet blood splattered throughout the space, and the Shattered Unreal Realm became saturated with The Wraithlord's Human Passions and Desires. Strange humanoid forms began to appear, baffling The Gods.
The Wraithlord's body gradually died, and at last, life left him completely. His wife and children wailed, but it was over. The Shattered Unreal Realm shook in fury, spawning more and more black humanoid shapes, then other colors—mindless, yet seemingly mourning and raging for The Wraithlord's suffering.
The Gods were astonished—The Wraithlord's power continued to affect everything here, even after death, and might even impact the other world. In desperation, The Gods decided to create a darkness vast enough to sever all connection between the Shattered Unreal Realm and that world.
Loraine Locke and The Wraithlord's three children clung to his corpse, crying endlessly. No matter how hard they wept, they could not awaken the dead Wraithlord.
The Gods prepared to leave, seeking a new home elsewhere, and planned to kill The Wraithlord's wife and children as well. But Mother Goddess Nuwa intervened, stopping them. The Gods honored their promise, letting The Wraithlord's wife and daughters leave this place. They carried his corpse back to the world below.
The Gods warned The Wraithlord's wife and daughters once again: never change the laws of this world, or they would die like The Wraithlord's father. The powers of The Wraithlord's children were stripped—they would no longer be invulnerable or immortal.
The Gods gradually forged the Dark, planning to completely envelop that world. Day by day, the darkness thickened, growing dense enough to blot out all light and devour everything. Satisfied, The Gods prepared to leave, but just then, Mother Goddess Nuwa suddenly stopped. As The Gods were about to seal everything, she halted their actions.
"Wait. I want to try one more time—to create humanity."
After much debate, The Gods finally accepted Mother Goddess Nuwa's request. Though peace had returned to the world below, something was still missing.
Perhaps Mother Goddess Nuwa herself had been infected by something unique to humanity—the capacity to give everything for those one loves. She decided to create humans once more.
Back in this world, Mother Goddess Nuwa soon found Loraine Locke and The Wraithlord's three children. But now, they were filled with hostility and anger toward their creator. Quietly, Nuwa spoke to them about the order of the world, taking them to Hell to witness everything. Gradually, as they spent time together, their hostility faded.
At last, Mother Goddess Nuwa began molding humans from clay again. This time, her creations were more lifelike, their edges smoothed away. She shaped them after the humanoid forms in the Unreal—these humans now possessed complete emotions and thoughts, and would experience birth, aging, sickness, and death.
Mother Goddess Nuwa hoped that, before they died, Loraine Locke and The Wraithlord's three children would guide these humans to thrive, teaching them everything about the world. She granted Loraine and the children abundant time.
Eventually, the second generation of humans flourished under the leadership of Loraine Locke, Emperor God, Sylvia Yan, and Phantom Sage. Their numbers grew, and distinct tribes began to form.
Mother Goddess Nuwa traveled among the tribes. The people revered her deeply, calling her Mother or Earth.
This time, Mother Goddess Nuwa intended to wait until all the people had truly settled before departing. The Gods, seeing this new scene, no longer opposed her.
But at that moment, something happened in Hell that astonished both The Gods and Mother Goddess Nuwa—The Wraithlord reappeared. Yet this time, he was something entirely opposite to humanity: a ghost.
The thriving humans, now well-developed, were devoured one by one by The Wraithlord. He radiated intense hatred—a loathing for the world and for the humans created by Mother Goddess Nuwa, bent on their total destruction.
Upon learning this, Loraine Locke quickly gathered her three children and, together with Mother Goddess Nuwa, visited each tribe left as bare bones by The Wraithlord.
Everything devoured by The Wraithlord—be it human or animal—became the antithesis of humanity. These entities now threatened the world, seeking to destroy every living thing.
When Loraine Locke and the three children saw The Wraithlord again, they were stunned. He had become deranged, wielding a power utterly different from before—still overwhelmingly strong. The Gods wanted to intervene, but found themselves powerless against him. Only human strength could affect The Wraithlord, but humans were too weak, and his children were no match for him.
They pleaded with their father again and again to stop devouring humans, but The Wraithlord ignored them. At last, Mother Goddess Nuwa decided to act, appearing before him once more with the sword that had killed The Wraithlord years ago.
"I will destroy this world you've created, slaughter all the humans you made, kill everything alive, and finally kill you gods—returning the world to nothingness and chaos. Mother, this is the future of the world, and our future as well."
At the moment he called out 'Mother' again, Mother Goddess Nuwa was moved. But The Wraithlord was no longer the one who loved his family and yearned for his mother—he had become a ghost consumed only by rage, sorrow, and resentment.
