Thousand-Scatter Reflecting Robe

Damien Darkmoon nodded. "That's right. If I hadn't seen Evan Yang's soul scatter and spirit shatter with my own eyes, I would have thought it was him too."

Hearing them discuss Evan Yang, Yvonne Darkmoon's eyes turned red again. "You two are so annoying. Why do you have to talk about Evan Yang?" she snapped, then stormed off, leaving the two of them behind.

Damien Darkmoon and Elder Lewis Lu exchanged a helpless glance.

"Honestly, I wish it really was him reincarnated, but that's impossible. Still, I'm curious to see who it actually is," Elder Lewis Lu said.

"The Yang Clan will definitely try something. We'll find out soon enough. But this round was so satisfying. That Terry Yang always thinks the Yang Clan is untouchable, and he knows we don't dare lay a hand on him, so he's so arrogant. Now let's see how they keep acting so smug. If they keep losing, they won't even qualify for advancement," Damien Darkmoon said.

Elder Lewis Lu nodded in agreement. He was thinking the same thing as Damien.

Not just Damien Darkmoon and Elder Lewis Lu—actually, a lot of people wanted to know what was really going on with the Yang Clan, or if someone was secretly sabotaging them. But there was no evidence, only speculation.

So everyone was eager to see if the Yang Clan would be that unlucky again in their next match.

When the Yang Clan got their second chance, even more people gathered around to watch. They wanted to see if this arrogant clan could turn things around. Terry Yang led the same three fighters as before—their injuries had mostly healed, so for them, fighting again was no big deal.

The order of their three fighters had already been decided. But for Evan Yang, it didn't matter who went up—two of them had to lose for the Yang Clan to be eliminated, so he'd already made up his mind to keep targeting them and see how long they could keep acting tough.

Terry Yang knew today was probably doomed, but he was convinced that once his artifact arrived, he’d be able to deal with whoever was sabotaging them from behind the scenes.

Even though he was mentally prepared, today was even worse than last time. Before the last fighter could even act, the first two had already lost. Terry Yang left without a word. The crowd kept speculating about what was wrong with the Yang Clan, or if they were losing on purpose, but since their chances were so few, the odds of them throwing the match seemed low.

"No more temper?" Yvonne Darkmoon thought of how Terry Yang had exploded in rage last time, but now he left so calmly, not saying a word. The people nearby exchanged glances, feeling uneasy—the quieter it got, the more ominous it seemed.

Damien Darkmoon and Elder Lewis Lu were also curious what Terry Yang was planning. Evan Yang no longer felt the same satisfaction as before; instead, he sensed something was waiting for him. But he wasn’t afraid—at worst, he could die again. It wasn’t like he hadn’t died before.

If others knew what Evan Yang was thinking, they’d definitely be jealous—he was basically immortal, able to come back again and again.

Nangong Palace Lord knew the person Terry Yang summoned would arrive in two days, so he waited patiently. When the teams came asking for updates—after all, the Yang Clan had lost twice, and if they lost again, they’d be eliminated early—he reassured them, and they left at ease.

To calm them down, Nangong Palace Lord gave his word, and only then did they leave reassured.

After that, everything was eerily calm—so calm it was unsettling. Evan Yang wanted to know what the Yang Clan was planning, so he slipped into their quarters. He found Terry Yang just sitting there, dazed and silent, with no sign of what they were up to.

Seeing this, Evan Yang waited there for a day, but nothing changed. He was about to leave, but wasn’t quite at ease, so he stayed one more day just in case.

After two days, someone finally arrived. Terry Yang snapped out of his trance and smiled. "You’re here." "Lord Terry, as soon as we got your order, we brought out this artifact. See if you can use it." The man produced a thin outer robe, almost transparent.

Terry Yang took the robe and smiled. "Great, perfect. Stay here—you’ll go back with me when the contest is over."

"Yes, Lord Terry," the man replied.

Nangong Palace Lord asked curiously, "Young Master Yang, what is this?"

"The Thousand-Scatter Reflecting Robe," Terry Yang replied with a smile.

Nangong Palace Lord was shocked. "What? That’s the Thousand-Scatter Reflecting Robe, an eighth-rank immortal artifact?"

"That’s right. Looks like Palace Lord Nangong knows a thing or two," Terry Yang said, smiling.

"I never expected the Yang Clan to have such a treasure. If someone is secretly interfering, they're done for. Ha!" Nangong Palace Lord laughed loudly.

Evan Yang had no idea what kind of artifact this was, but it seemed familiar. He left, found a secluded spot, pulled out the artifact ranking manual he'd collected before, and scanned it. He discovered the Thousand-Scatter Reflecting Robe ranked near the top, and its description read: 'A reflecting garment—the stronger the opponent, the stronger the reflection.'

Evan Yang remembered the mirror-type artifact he’d faced before, but that had to be held. This robe was worn, letting the user ignore the opponent completely.

"So it was prepared for me," Evan Yang thought. He realized Terry Yang knew someone was interfering but couldn’t find them, so he planned to use this artifact to deal with the hidden saboteur.
