Desires Awaken

At that moment, the Taoist's cold, triangular eyes flickered. He reached into his robe and pulled out a small black porcelain bottle. Carefully unscrewing the cap, a dark red, sinister mist wafted out. He stepped forward, pried open the jaws of the three unconscious Blue Wolf Syndicate thugs one by one, and slowly poured the contents of the bottle into their mouths.

The three Blue Wolf Syndicate thugs, completely unaware of what was happening, had the bottle's contents forced down their throats. Soon, their bodies began to convulse violently, veins bulging on their necks and arms and quickly spreading across their bodies. Their skin turned a purplish-red, and their bodies swelled like balloons—

“Jie—jie—jie—” The three thugs let out strange, raspy screeches from their throats and suddenly sat up, eyes wide open. But their eyes were vacant, and their pupils had turned from black to a blood-red, making them look terrifying!

Their bodies jerked upright like robots. The Taoist took out three talismans covered in strange symbols, muttered an incantation, and slapped them onto the backs of their heads. The talismans glowed red and sank into their skulls. The three men shuddered again, then began to walk slowly toward the edge of the woods.

Strangely enough, the three only walked through the woods and thickets, carefully avoiding the park’s visitors. They made their way to a rather wide stream in Tiger Ridge Park. The water there was clear and served as an important source for local agricultural irrigation, winding around Tiger Ridge Park and connecting to Ridgeview Country Estate.

The three men actually walked straight into the stream, heading toward the middle. Though the stream wasn’t very wide, the water in the center was over two meters deep, quickly submerging their heads. Yet they showed no reaction, even diving further in, disappearing into the water.

“Heh heh—now the real show begins! Kid, let’s see how powerful you really are! I’ll make sure things get a lot more interesting for you!” The Taoist watched as the three Blue Wolf Syndicate thugs vanished into the stream, letting out a sinister, cold laugh. With a flash, he too disappeared from the woods.

Meanwhile, over at Ridgeview Country Estate, Jack Jiang and his crew were lounging under the breezy melon trellis, feasting away. They’d ordered plenty of free-range chicken and duck, braised pork, and other farmhouse dishes. All of it was cooked with freshly pressed peanut oil and the freshest ingredients, so the flavors were pure and authentic—much better than the city’s fancy restaurants! No wonder everyone was eating with gusto, shouting their praise.

The owner of Ridgeview Country Estate, Sam Choi—known locally as 'Uncle Choi'—used to be an honest, struggling farmer just scraping by. But over the years, he got wise and, together with his wife and daughter, worked hard. Besides running a large farming and livestock business, they also took advantage of their location to open this farm-to-table restaurant. Their income shot up, and now he’s a well-known 'farmer entrepreneur' in the southern suburbs of Nanning!

Inside the melon shed, since Jack Jiang’s crew was pretty big, they pushed several wooden tables together in a row so everyone could squeeze in and sit down. The scene was lively and bustling.

Jack Jiang sat right in the middle, hogging space for several people. Vivian Fang was perched on his lap, her perky butt pressed against his crotch in a suggestive pose. No one batted an eye—they just kept eating, drinking, and joking around.

Jack Jiang held a can of beer in one hand, and the other was habitually sneaking inside Vivian’s blouse, groping and squeezing. Vivian, meanwhile, forced a careful smile, feeding him a chicken drumstick with one hand and wiping grease from his mouth with a napkin in the other, terrified of not serving him well enough.

Meanwhile, Yvonne Hu and Shawn Young sat at the other end, close together, quietly chatting and laughing while they ate, totally out of place compared to the rowdy crowd around them.

Jack Jiang kept glancing over, seeing Shawn and Yvonne all lovey-dovey, and a weird, frustrated fire bubbled up inside him. He’d always wanted to get with Yvonne, but her background made him hesitate. Now, seeing her cozying up to Shawn, he was obviously pissed off. Still, he couldn’t blow up in public, so he just sulked and chugged beer, downing several cans in no time. His face flushed red from the booze.

Just then, Sam Choi’s daughter came over with a plate of braised pork trotters and gently set it in front of Jack Jiang. When Jack looked up, he noticed she was actually quite pretty—not as sultry as Vivian, but her features were delicate and charming. Her skin had that healthy tan typical of country girls, with a rosy glow that made her look wholesome and cute.

Most importantly, she looked innocent—a cute round face, neat short black hair, and a killer figure. The weather was hot, so she wore a simple T-shirt and shorts, showing off her smooth, round thighs. Thanks to all the farm work, her legs were firm and springy. When Jack’s gaze landed on her shapely butt and those strong, slender legs, he couldn’t help but swallow hard.

“Hehe—Little sister, what’s your name? How old are you?” Jack Jiang pushed Vivian aside and sat up straight, already scheming.

“Oh—um, my name is Jenny Choi, I’m nineteen. Hehe—sir, this is Ridgeview Country Estate’s signature dish, braised pork trotters. Please give it a try, it’s really tasty!” The girl glanced at Vivian, then smiled politely at Jack Jiang.

“Hehe—nineteen, huh? Nice and tender! And your name’s Jenny—so pure, I like that! Jenny, why don’t you sit down and have a drink with me? You can tell me all about this dish. If it’s as good as you say, I’ll order a bunch more!” Jack Jiang kept staring at Jenny’s chest, forcing out his most ‘friendly’ smile.

“Uh—well—this isn’t really appropriate. Besides, I’ve never had a drink with guests before—and I don’t know how to drink!” Jenny blushed and quickly waved her hand, trying to refuse.

“Oh, oh! No worries, there’s a first time for everything, right? Just sit down, chat with me, and have a little sip—it’ll be fine, won’t it?” Jack Jiang was getting more and more excited.

“But—this seat belongs to that lady—I really shouldn’t bother you all—” Jenny felt uneasy under Jack’s fiery gaze, especially with him ogling her chest, and tried to slip away.

“Hehe—don’t go! I’ll have her move, no problem! Jenny, come on, keep me company and I’ll tip you! And don’t worry—I’m a good guy. It’s broad daylight and everyone’s watching, I wouldn’t do anything bad to you, right?” Jack Jiang said, grabbing Jenny’s wrist and pulling her over. He nodded at Vivian, who immediately got up and stepped aside, leaving the seat open and heading outside.

“Oh, sir—I really can’t drink! Please don’t do this, I’m scared—” Jenny struggled to get away, but Jack Jiang held her wrist tight. After a few beers, his lust was in full swing, and he had no intention of letting Jenny escape his clutches.
