The Fate of Those Who Destroyed the Fairpool Sect

12/19/2025

"Are you from the Fairpool Sect?" Joe Di looked at the young male cultivator before him and asked. Judging by his age, Joe Di could tell this young man was quite gifted.

He must have spent years hiding within a concealed immortal array. The young man's face was pale, his hair somewhat disheveled, and his cultivation had just reached the Great Luo Immortal stage, still unstable. His Dao aura fluctuated noticeably.

The young cultivator said urgently, "Now is not the time for this. Let's leave here first, and we can talk later."

He was extremely anxious. If Joe Di hadn't mentioned visiting Nora Xiu's former residence, he would have already left.

Joe Di chuckled, "Even if you want to leave now, it's already too late. If you don't believe me, just look behind you."

The young man turned around and saw more than a dozen flying ships speeding toward them. In an instant, they landed around him and Joe Di, sealing off the space completely. The weakest among the cultivators who emerged from the ships was at the Great Luo Immortal stage.

When he saw that Victor Hen (Immortal Emperor) of the Silent River Sect and Justin Yi (Immortal Emperor) of the Starflame Sect had both arrived, a trace of despair flashed in his eyes, and he gave up on the idea of escaping.

"My name is Henry Cang, an inner disciple of the Fairpool Sect. When the sect was destroyed, I was away training. When I returned, my sect was gone, so I've been hiding here ever since..." Knowing he was doomed, Henry Cang calmed down. He wanted to ask Joe Di why he had mentioned Senior Nora Xiu.

Senior Nora Xiu was not only the pride of the Wymu Immortal Continent, but also the pride of the Fairpool Sect. From entering the Immortal Realm to ascending in just three hundred years—she was truly unprecedented.

Joe Di smiled, "My name is Joe Di. I suppose you didn't try to escape immediately because you wanted to know how I know Nora Xiu, right?"

Henry Cang nodded, "Yes, Senior Nora has always been a role model for every disciple of the Fairpool Sect."

"Ha ha..." A wild laugh rang out, and a man in a purple Immortal Emperor robe strode over, his gaze landing on Joe Di. "So there really is someone who knows Nora Xiu. It seems I, Victor Hen, came to the right place. Justin Yi..."

As Victor Hen called out to Justin Yi, an elder descended from another flying ship. His cultivation was already at the late Immortal Emperor stage, even higher than Victor Hen's mid-stage Immortal Emperor level.

The elder named Justin Yi smiled slightly, ignoring Victor Hen's remark. Instead, he walked to a spot several meters from Joe Di and stopped, his eyes carefully studying Joe Di.

Joe Di said he was searching for Nora Xiu's former residence, clearly indicating a close relationship with her. Back then, Nora Xiu ascended to the Immortal Realm in just three hundred years. Anyone closely connected to her was not to be underestimated.

After Justin Yi's gaze and spiritual sense lingered on Joe Di for a long while, he frowned slightly. By rights, Joe Di should only be at the late Immortal Emperor stage, but Justin Yi couldn't discern the true depth of his cultivation.

"Friend, what is your relationship with Nora Xiu?" Unable to gauge Joe Di's cultivation, Justin Yi extended his Spiritual Sense Domain and cupped his fists, asking politely.

Joe Di replied calmly, "I am Nora Xiu's husband. I happened to pass by today and decided to visit her former residence and inquire about two people. I didn't expect Nora's old home to be so thoroughly destroyed."

"Senior, you are..." Henry Cang was stunned by Joe Di's words. Had Senior Nora Xiu's Dao companion arrived?

Joe Di nodded to Henry Cang, "That's right, I am indeed Nora Xiu's husband. Tell me, what exactly happened to the Fairpool Sect? Why was it destroyed like this? Who participated in the attack, and which sects were involved?"

Victor Hen and Justin Yi exchanged glances, then suddenly attacked at the same time. Two dazzling beams erupted beside them. Yet in the next moment, both men froze. They had summoned their magical treasures, but the artifacts were immediately immobilized at their sides.

If only their artifacts had been restrained, they would have fled instantly. But as they prepared to escape, the space itself became completely frozen.

At that moment, everything they had cultivated—their Dao aura—seemed utterly false. Except for their thoughts, nothing else could move.

The two Immortal Emperors' eyes were filled with shock and terror. More than anyone, they understood that the man before them was likely not just an Immortal Emperor, but someone who had surpassed that realm.

What made the two Immortal Emperors even more desperate was that the dozen flying ships they had arrived in suddenly exploded for no reason, and the dozens of cultivators who had disembarked were also inexplicably blown apart. Except for the two of them, none survived.

Dozens of rings landed in front of Henry Cang, leaving him utterly stunned.

"Senior..." Henry Cang called out in disbelief as he recovered. He hadn't seen Joe Di move at all, yet none of the incoming cultivators had survived. Even the two Immortal Emperors were trapped.

"Take the rings, then tell me what happened." Joe Di patted Henry Cang on the shoulder.

Henry Cang fully understood now—this senior was definitely Nora Xiu's Dao companion. Otherwise, how could he be so powerful?

He bowed deeply, his eyes red as he said, "Senior, the Fairpool Sect suffered a calamity for no reason. The Swordmaster Sect, Silent River Sect, and Starflame Sect coveted our Spirit Marrow Pool. After several of our elders ascended, they claimed we had obtained an Extreme Immortal Vein and joined forces against us. They killed over a dozen elders, the sect master, and countless disciples, stole our Spirit Herb Garden, and even took away the Spirit Marrow Pool itself."

"Besides those three, which other sects took part in the slaughter of the Fairpool Sect?" Joe Di's tone carried a hint of chill.

Victor Hen and Justin Yi both felt a chill in their hearts. At this moment, they truly regretted listening to Sean Swift, the Swordmaster Sect Master.

The Fairpool Sect's Spirit Marrow Pool was good, but not worth offending such a powerful figure. Moreover, most of the Spirit Marrow Pool had ended up with Sean Swift anyway.

Henry Cang shook his head and said, "No, it was only those three sects. Many sects knew our Fairpool Sect didn't actually possess any Extreme Immortal Vein. Even if we did, with those three leading the attack, no one else would dare take a share."

Joe Di's gaze fell on the two Immortal Emperors trapped by his domain. He said calmly, "Was there any injustice in what Henry Cang just said about you?"

The powerful, oppressive killing intent made it hard for the two Immortal Emperors to even breathe. At Joe Di's questioning, how could they dare utter a single lie?

"Senior, this matter was orchestrated by Sean Swift, the Swordmaster Sect Master. We were both coerced into joining. In fact, most of the Spirit Marrow Pool was taken by Sean Swift." Justin Yi said, his voice trembling.

"Show me a portrait of Sean Swift." As Joe Di spoke, Justin Yi suddenly found his hand could move. He quickly drew a portrait in the air.

Joe Di looked at the portrait and frowned, "Why haven't I seen this person before?"

Hearing Joe Di's words, Justin Yi and Victor Hen trembled inwardly. How powerful must one's spiritual sense be to say such a thing?

"Senior, Sean Swift has already ascended," Justin Yi forced himself to calm down.

Joe Di asked no further questions. Before him, Victor Hen and Justin Yi suddenly exploded and vanished without a trace.

Henry Cang was shocked, but quickly said, "Senior, I am willing to join you in seeking vengeance against the Three Great Sects."

Joe Di smiled faintly, "No need for me to go in person just yet."

With that, Joe Di raised his hand and struck three times.

At that moment, whether it was the Swordmaster Sect, Silent River Sect, or Starflame Sect, all saw three massive handprints descend from the void.

The aura of death permeated the Three Great Sects. All their disciples frantically tried to escape, but no matter how fast they ran, they couldn't outrun the handprints.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Three thunderous explosions echoed as the Three Great Sects were reduced to dust beneath the handprints.

Cultivators outside the Three Great Sects were stunned. As the handprints descended, many witnessed the event. Under the handprints, not a single sect member escaped—whether Immortal Emperor or lowly Qi practitioner, all were annihilated. Afterward, the sects became three enormous handprint-shaped ruins.

Above the ruins of the Three Great Sects, several large characters appeared: 'This is the fate of those who dare destroy the Fairpool Sect.'
