Entering the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth

12/19/2025

"Brother Di, if possible, may I go in with you? I know something about the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth—maybe I can help." Shelby Young looked at Joe Di with hopeful anticipation.

Joe Di understood what Shelby Young meant—she was asking if he had a way to protect her so they could enter the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth together.

Seeing Joe Di hesitate, Shelby Young quickly added, "Brother Di, if I really reach the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth, it might benefit me greatly. If we truly find the Chaotic Magma, I might be able to break through to the Unity Realm."

If Shelby Young hadn’t mentioned the benefit to herself, Joe Di wouldn’t want to bring her down. He could indeed protect her through the Hell Vortex, but he had no idea what the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth was really like. Based on Shelby Young’s words, it was likely a place where ancient monsters lurked. Bringing her along would be fraught with danger.

But since Shelby Young said the Chaotic Magma might help him restore his strength, Joe Di couldn't delay her. If he faced the same situation, he would absolutely go in himself.

"Alright, I'll carry you in," Joe Di said. He didn’t want Shelby Young to enter his Ninth World; once inside the True Spirit World, he still planned to send it into the Ninth World.

There was another option: he could ensure Shelby Young’s divine sense couldn’t penetrate the True Spirit World. But if he did that, she would surely have doubts.

"Thank you, Brother Di." Shelby Young bowed to Joe Di, her face bright with joy, and walked straight to his side without a hint of hesitation.

Good—no fussing or hesitation. Joe Di reached out and put his arm around Shelby Young, then charged directly into the Hell Vortex. Since she wasn’t shy, he might as well hold her close; that way, even if the vortex surged, it wouldn’t sweep her away.

As soon as they entered the Hell Vortex, Joe Di summoned the Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram to shield both himself and Shelby Young.

The raging impact of the vortex crashed against the Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram, and Joe Di’s spiritual sense immediately grew sluggish. His face paled. He was glad he had waited three days to recover before coming in—otherwise, he would’ve been forced to retreat into his Ninth World.

Held close by Joe Di, Shelby Young felt his intense masculine energy wash over her, making her tremble; she instinctively clung tighter to him.

But as the violent vortex struck Joe Di’s Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram, Shelby Young could clearly sense how much effort it took for him to hold on—the trembling vanished in an instant. She felt fortunate that he had carried her in his arms; if he’d only given her a piggyback, she might have been swept away by the vortex.

Fortunately, Joe Di didn’t linger long in the Hell Vortex—less than two hours passed before he felt a surge of overwhelming power sweep over them. He quickly wrapped the Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram around himself and Shelby Young. The next moment, both of them were swept away by that force.

Boom! Joe Di and Shelby Young crashed down from what felt like the highest heavens, blasting a massive trench into the solid rock before finally coming to a stop.

It really was a teleportation—just as Shelby Young had said.

Joe Di swept his spiritual sense outward. The area was thick with chilling Yin energy; everywhere was shrouded in a sinister aura, and the vortex that devoured spiritual sense had vanished without a trace.

He breathed a sigh of relief, put away the Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram, and set Shelby Young down.

When he’d been holding Shelby Young, fighting off the terrifying vortex at every moment, Joe Di hadn’t noticed anything unusual. Only now, after letting her go, did he realize just how soft her body was.

Thankfully, they had arrived.

"Thank you, Brother Joe." Shelby Young's face reddened slightly. Suddenly, she felt a sense of shame. Ever since Moira Song was killed and all her sisters perished, she had finally awakened. What she felt before was not love, merely being an appendage to Moira Song.

Moira Song cared about them, but only as his private possessions, forbidding anyone else from touching them. In his mind, he was always first, his women second. All other lives were mere ants.

This fostered a frightening personality in them, causing them to unconsciously believe they were just one tier below Moira Song, yet above everyone else.

When Moira Song was alive, they enjoyed supreme status, but could never interact alone with other men. Only after his death—after surviving countless life-and-death experiences and meeting all kinds of people—did she gradually come to understand.

If she could do it all over again, she wouldn't choose that lawless life as someone's subordinate. She would rather have a relationship built on mutual respect, moving forward together. Even if it meant living at the very bottom with the person she loved, she would be willing.

"No need to be so formal. Let's not keep thanking each other." Joe Di waved his hand. "We should be in the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth now. My spiritual sense can't scan the whole area. The spiritual energy here is decent, but the Yin energy is far too thick—it's uncomfortable to stay for long."

"Ah..." Shelby Young quickly pulled back her wandering thoughts and said, "Yes, this is the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth. I've heard it's divided into seven regions: the Surge Wheel, the Insight Wheel, the Vitality Wheel, the Might Wheel, the Core Wheel, the Essence Wheel, and the Hero's Wheel. As for where the Chaotic Magma is, I'm not sure—we'll need to search for it."

Is that so? Joe Di was taken aback—these names sounded just like the Seven Spirits in the Three Souls and Seven Spirits. He vaguely sensed that the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth had a deeper origin.

Thinking of this, Joe Di took out a jade talisman and handed it to Shelby Young. "Junior Sister Xiangbing, I need to focus on healing in the True Spirit World. Carry my True Spirit World with you. If anything happens, crush this jade talisman immediately."

The Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth was certainly full of dangers; he had to recover his strength as quickly as possible. He needed to heal, but couldn't delay searching for Charlotte Ling, so he had to rely on Shelby Young for help.

"Alright," Shelby Young replied immediately. Her spiritual sense landed on the jade talisman Joe Di had given her. When she saw the image within, she quickly asked, "Brother Joe, is the senior sister shown in this talisman your friend?"

Joe Di answered, "Yes, her name is Charlotte Ling. I came here to find her. If you see her or hear any news about her, crush the talisman immediately."

"Mm." Shelby Young responded, suddenly feeling a deep sense of inferiority. Charlotte Ling was not only much more beautiful, but also completely pure. She herself, however, was a woman who had been sullied.

After Joe Di entered his own world, Shelby Young picked up a bead and sighed, collecting herself.

...

Joe Di sat beneath the World Tree, desperately healing. The World Tree seemed to sense his crisis, sending streams of vitality that followed his cultivation, pouring into his body without the slightest delay.

Joe Di's meridians gradually began to recover, and the cracks in his Spiritual Sea healed faster and faster.

Feeling the speed of his recovery, Joe Di was overjoyed. At this rate, in five days—at most—he would fully regain his strength.

Shelby Young's knowledge of the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth all came from Moira Song's descriptions. Back then, she and her sisters were just curious—they hadn't asked for details. So she knew more than Joe Di, but only superficial things.

Now, as she truly walked through the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth, she realized she was no different from someone who knew nothing about it. In a place like this, all she could do was pick a direction and keep moving.

It was absolutely impossible to distinguish directions here.

This place was nothing but extreme cold and chilling Yin energy—there wasn't a single sign of life. Not only was there no life, there wasn't even any Chaotic Magma. In fact, she hadn't seen so much as a pool of water.

On the fourth day, Shelby Young stopped. She sensed a surge of intense Yang energy, mixed with Primordial Chaos Essence. Since entering the Realm of Sevenfold Rebirth, everywhere had been filled with chilling Yin energy—where could such blazing Yang come from?

Shelby Young was just about to bend down to investigate when a harsh, raspy voice called out, "Well, well—a girl with a perfect physical body. How did you get in here?"

Shelby Young jerked her head up. A dozen or so yards ahead, a figure was floating. Rather than a figure, it was more like a shadow with a blurred face.
