S-Class Terror Fiend

Victory!

At this moment, surrounded by saints and cheered by the masses, Ryan Ling felt a surge of pure satisfaction!

From Linhai onward, every step he took was a brutal grind. But today, he finally wiped out Jiangnorth's top powerhouse—and did it while punching above his weight, crushing Kong Long's mid-stage Nascent Soul with just his early-stage! Even Ryan himself was a bit stunned.

But the real jackpot was earning the Hundred Saints’ recognition and their blessing—that’s worth way more than just leveling up through a Tribulation!

If Kong Long had fought with only his own power, he’d barely count as a minor God Realm. All that brute force came straight from saintly buffs. Now that blessing is flowing into Ryan, and it’s a total game-changer for his Nascent Soul stage!

With Kong Long down, almost all his power is now in Ryan’s hands. If Ryan plays his cards right, he might rocket straight to mid-stage Nascent Soul in record time.

Opportunities like this are once in a thousand years. Ryan knows he’s won—he’s basically China’s number one now.

But there are still monsters out there. Powerhouses still exist!

KL Organization alone hasn’t even shown its real hand yet.

And besides KL, the Netherworld’s Western Pacifying King is still a huge threat.

Ghost Elder always said, the Western Pacifying King is a total monster—maybe even stronger than the Divine Dragon!

Right now, Ryan managed to wipe out all these evil forces in Yan Capital mostly because Lord Yama, his old man, held back the Western Pacifying King’s biggest pressure.

If not for that, he never could’ve pulled it off!

So power upgrades are still the top priority!

......

At that moment, as Ryan landed from the sky, a crowd of top experts surged toward him—everyone was too hyped to even speak!

“Unmatched in this era! This is what real invincibility looks like! Only Ryan Ling could pull off a win so epic that even the saints switch sides!” Right then, several clan leaders inside Yan Capital dropped to their knees before Ryan. These were folks who’d been wavering, some even leaning toward Victor Hua’s camp, but now they were all-in for Ryan!

With a hundred saints backing him, nobody even dares to think of rebelling!

“Seriously unbeatable—even his Immortal Path blows everyone else out of the water!” Now, other top dogs from all over Jiangnorth chimed in. Most of them just wanted to apprentice under Ryan—everyone dreams of cultivating the Immortal Path, and Ryan’s is on a whole other level!

Ryan just nodded and smiled at all the flattery.

Right now, Jiangnorth is just starting to settle down, and Yan Capital barely survived a huge disaster. Victor Hua, Zane Ouyang, the Thousand-Year Lord—all the big bads have been taken out. Chairman Daniel Deng was just rescued. Nobody wants more civil war; peace is way too precious.

Plus, Ryan’s real base is in Southriver; he’s got almost no roots in Jiangnorth. For now, the Nangong Family has to restore order among the clans, and Daniel Deng has to hold the military. Getting from chaos to stability will take a while!

Jiangnorth can’t afford more chaos, and China definitely can’t handle any new disasters!

“Boss won!” Right then, Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, Harvey ‘Million’ Jin, and the crew burst out cheering, grins all over their faces.

Kenneth Li and Gabriel Xue finally let out a long breath. They only managed to reclaim Jiangnorth because Ryan tanked the biggest enemies. Now, as the adrenaline faded, their bodies wobbled and they nearly collapsed—everyone was totally wiped out by the fight.

“You all fought hard!” Ryan looked at everyone, feeling genuinely proud.

“Ryan, thank god you’re okay!” Serena Yan, Anqi Chen, Sophie Su, and the rest rushed over, their eyes full of love and worry.

“It’s all good now. Tonight, everyone can finally sleep soundly!” Ryan looked at them with real tenderness. He knew these days, they’d all been scared for him. These tough girls had been carrying the load like men—he really felt for them.

“Great! Tonight I’m sleeping with Ryan!”

“Me too—I want to sleep with my hubby!”

“Me too!”

......

For a moment, all the beauties were falling for Ryan, each one sticking out her tongue in playful teasing.

“Ryan, looks like you’re in for a wild night, hahaha!” Seeing all the girls making demands, Guihai One-Blade burst out laughing.

“What, even you’re teasing me now, senior?” Ryan grinned at Guihai One-Blade.

“Haha, Ryan, from today you’re officially China’s number one—don’t call me senior anymore! I should be calling you senior!” Guihai One-Blade hurried to reply.

“No way, no matter what, you’ll always be my senior. Without you, I’d never be here!” Ryan said, grabbing Guihai’s hands tight.

Guihai nodded, eyes already misty.

Ghost Elder and Granny Soul were also getting teary-eyed.

“Lord Yama must be proud now. Ryan used to be just a fourth-grade Spirit Officer, but after this fight, he’ll probably jump up three whole ranks and become a top-tier underworld official!”

“No doubt about it—he’s China’s number one now, totally worthy of a top-tier underworld post. Truly something to celebrate!”

The two old underworld mentors who’d watched Ryan grow up were both bursting with pride.

“Let’s rest at the Yan Capital Military Commission tonight! In three days, we’ll throw a huge feast to celebrate China’s new era!” shouted Kenneth Li, the top military commander. All the soldiers joined in, shouting with excitement.

......

Night slowly fell over the thousand-year-old city.

Even after such a historic battle, at least eighty percent of the ancient city survived.

Right now, all Ryan’s brothers were drinking in excitement, while Ryan himself was dragged into a room by the girls. Clearly, tonight’s ‘victory pillaging’ was inevitable!

But just as the whole nation was celebrating, several top Chinese military commanders suddenly rushed to Ryan’s temporary HQ.

“Is Master Ling here?” one senior general asked, his face grim.

“Commander Lu, what brings you here? How’s Chairman Deng doing? We haven’t had time to visit tonight, but we’ll definitely go tomorrow!” Kenneth Li clearly knew him and quickly shook his hand.

“Kenneth, something’s happened—Chairman Deng urgently needs to see Ryan!” Commander Lu gulped, face pale.

“What’s wrong?” Kenneth froze, instantly realizing things were serious.

Commander Lu was Deng’s right-hand man—if he showed up now, it meant China was still in danger, maybe even worse than the threat from Conrad Kong or the Thousand-Year Lord!

“It’s the U—U.S....” Commander Lu began, just as Ryan walked out of the room.

“What about the U.S.?” Ryan could tell something was off and hurried out. Behind him, Sophie Su and the others whispered nervously—they sensed trouble too.

“The U.S. just sent a battle ultimatum, and the Seventh Fleet has already sailed into the Bohai Gulf!” Commander Lu blurted out.

“What? Are those bastards insane? Are they really trying to start open war with China?” Kenneth was stunned and looked at Ryan.

Ryan’s face darkened. He knew even though he’d just ended the chaos in China, he’d made plenty of enemies abroad. Their influence used to reach deep into China, and now Ryan had suddenly cut them off—they wouldn’t just let it go.

“Don’t panic—let’s hear the details. I don’t believe they’d really dare start a war between superpowers!” Ryan clenched his fists and stepped forward.

“For specifics, Master Chen, please come with me to see Chairman Deng. The U.S. is trying to carve up China’s interests while we’re still reeling from civil strife. The situation is still classified, and we don’t know the U.S.’s real intentions. All we know is that right now, sitting on the Seventh Fleet flagship is a Kunlun League S-Class Terror Fiend—his power might even surpass Conrad Kong’s...
