Reuniting

With a clear goal in mind, the group rushed nonstop to Mount Hua. The Seven Husbands watched Ivy Shen’s anxious, hurried expression—each of them was just as impatient. Ever since she’d given birth to their second and third children, it had been ages since any of them had touched her.

Soon, they arrived at Mount Hua, dismounted, and started walking inside. Just then, Ivy’s sharp eyes caught sight of two people—familiar, yet somehow a bit different.

"Clara!" Adrian Night hurriedly called out first.

Clearly, he’d spotted her too.

Hearing him, the young woman in the market turned her head in surprise. She was hugging a child about the same size as Little Snowball, and beside her stood Colin Kerr, who had been missing for ages.

How were those two together?!

A whole string of questions popped up in everyone’s minds.

At that moment, Clara Night hurried over. It had been a long time—she’d shed her arrogance for a gentle mother’s smile and the air of an ordinary woman. "Brother," she said.

This ‘Brother’ had none of the old spoiled or affected tone—just genuine warmth.

"Is this my nephew? Come here, let me hold him!" Adrian Night grinned and scooped up the little one, who was about the same size as his own son.

At that moment, Clara Night turned her head to look at Ivy Shen. The arrogance she used to wear was nowhere to be seen. Then, she suddenly broke into a gentle smile and called out, "Sister-in-law!"

Clara’s words left everyone stunned—including Ivy. She was so used to Clara’s proud, prickly attitude that she honestly couldn’t process being called 'sister-in-law.'

"Clara…" Adrian Night was practically speechless. Had she really called Ivy 'sister-in-law'? Was she finally accepting her?

When Ivy didn’t answer, Clara called out again, her voice even more sincere. "I was wrong, sister-in-law—please forgive me!"

Clara’s face was open and honest. She’d finally let go of everything, and only now realized just how awful she’d been before. She could only hope it wasn’t too late to change.

Ivy glanced at Adrian, who was looking at her with gentle, encouraging eyes.

The rest of the group nodded along. Honestly, this was the kind of scene everyone wanted to see.

"Alright!" Ivy finally agreed. That one word was enough to untangle years of resentment.

Clara’s eyes instantly reddened. Ivy had forgiven her—she really had.

Seeing this, Ivy was moved too. Ugh, she hated this kind of sappy stuff—now even she felt like crying.

The little one reached out, wiggling his hands at Ivy—clearly hoping for a cuddle.

"Come here, let me hold you," Ivy smiled, taking the baby from Adrian. The little one giggled uncontrollably the moment he saw Ivy—he really liked her.

"What’s his name?"

"Sister-in-law, he’s called Little Tian."

Ivy paused, then smiled. "Great name, what a good kid." After the war, Adrian had told her about Clara and Aiden, but back then Ivy doubted that someone as spoiled as Clara could ever be moved by Aiden’s devotion.

But now, seeing all this, Ivy realized that love’s power was way beyond anything she’d ever imagined.

"Liam…" Colin Kerr’s voice suddenly choked up, and the look he gave Liam was full of real emotion.

"You two haven’t seen each other in ages—go chat," Ivy said with a gentle smile to Liam. Colin had vanished out of nowhere, and she knew Liam had been worried sick. Plus, Colin had lost an arm protecting Liam—he must feel terribly guilty.

No one expected Colin to show up here. What was his status now, and why was he looking after Clara?

Could it be… are they already…?
