"Ah! Wh-what is this Soul-Stealing Mother-Daughter Curse? Is it really scary?" Yvonne Hu and Vivian Fang turned pale with fright and hurriedly asked.
"This curse originated from ancient Chinese shamanic arts and has been passed down to today, especially common in the southern Miao regions. Over the ages, it has evolved into hundreds of varieties, each with its own dangers. But among them, three are considered the most evil: the Golden Silkworm Curse, the Divine Wood Curse, and this Soul-Stealing Mother-Daughter Curse! I won't get into the first two, let's talk about this one. As the name suggests, it's a sinister curse specifically targeting a mother and daughter. Because you two are mother and daughter, sharing blood, you're the perfect targets. The curse enters your bodies through food or drink and lies dormant, gradually causing the symptoms I mentioned before—those are just warning signs. Right now, the curse is lurking in your lower abdomen, and as your blood circulates, it'll slowly gather at your heart and brain. Once the person who cursed you is ready, they can trigger the curse at any time, controlling your minds! You'll do whatever they command! And in the end, you won't die immediately—instead, the curse will devour your vital essence, leaving you shriveled and mindless, like a walking corpse!" Shawn Young explained.
"Ah—this is terrifying! I'd rather die than turn into a mindless zombie!" Yvonne Hu trembled in fear at Shawn's words.
"Shawn, Shawn, you must have a way to break this horrible curse for us, right?" Vivian Fang, though clearly frightened, was still a woman who's seen her share of storms. She managed to stay calm and pinned her hopes on Shawn Young, believing that since he knew the origins, he must have a solution.
"Uh—the curse has been hiding in both your bodies for some time now. After my recent check, it’s already gathered at your heart, spreading through your limbs and organs. If it reaches your brain, there’s nothing I can do. But right now, there’s still a chance to break it—except..." Shawn Young hesitated, trailing off.
"Hey, come on! If you’ve got something to say, just spit it out!" Lilian Grace, standing nearby, couldn't help but urge him.
"Yeah, Shawn, just say it. We’re at a critical moment—no need to hold back!" Vivian Fang gazed at him with her beautiful phoenix eyes.
"Alright, I’ll say it—this curse has already seriously messed with your endocrine systems. With my current abilities, I can only force out the curse from your limbs and organs. But your lower abdomen and heart are where the curse is most concentrated, so—to completely break it, we’ll need to use a rather... special method! Uh—" Shawn Young stammered.
"A special method? Just how special are we talking!?" Yvonne Hu asked.
"Uh... the special method is—using a unique massage technique, where I have to draw out the poison from your bodies through the palms of my hands. Only this way can the poison be completely removed through your skin, so your organs won't be damaged! And, each of you will need about a week of treatment! The poison has already spread, so it's not easy to get rid of it completely!" Shawn Young explained.
"So... what exactly is this special massage technique?" Yvonne Hu blushed as she asked, clearly thinking of something.
"Uh—well—" Shawn stammered, his face heating up. He had no idea how to explain it. If he told them the truth, these two would definitely think he was just a pervert with ulterior motives!
To his surprise, Vivian Fang's delicate, fair face was flushed red. She stared at Shawn with her beautiful almond-shaped eyes—a classic trait in Chinese beauty, where the eyes are slightly upturned—her gaze so deep it seemed to pierce his soul. Then she asked, "So this special massage technique... does it mean my daughter and I have to strip naked for you to do it?"
"Uh—yes, that's right! That's the only way to completely remove the poison. If you think I'm a pervert, then I have nothing else to say. Whether you want to cure the poison is up to you. I swear I'm not trying to take advantage of you—this is the only method, and my conscience is clear!" Shawn felt nervous under Vivian's intense gaze, but quickly steeled himself and spoke with conviction.
"I'm trying to save you two—though the method is a bit indecent, it could save your lives. I've said my piece; do what you want! If you don't want my help, I'll just leave!" Shawn thought to himself, feeling a bit stubborn.
At that moment, Lilian Grace, blushing, quietly chimed in, "Shawn, is there any other way? Something less... extreme?"
"No! This is the only way—" Shawn replied firmly. He'd made up his mind: if they wouldn't cooperate, he couldn't save them. He wasn't a miracle worker, after all.
"Alright! I'll cooperate! Cure me first—if it works, then you can help Yvonne next!" Vivian stared at Shawn for a moment before finally agreeing.
"Okay, sure! Let's wait until tomorrow," Shawn replied.
"Uh—why wait until tomorrow? Can't we do it tonight?" Vivian asked urgently.
"Yeah, I'm really scared—I want to get rid of the poison as soon as possible!" Yvonne added, her anxiety showing.
"Well—there's no rushing it! Removing the poison takes a lot of mental energy and spiritual power. I need to prepare, gather my strength, and get the necessary items ready. It can't be done in a hurry!" Shawn said seriously.
But in reality, Shawn was thinking, "Heh—now these two beauties are desperate. They were looking at me like a criminal earlier, but now I get to keep them guessing. Soon enough, they'll be begging me to touch them wherever I want! Wahaha—"

"I see—so, what do you need to prepare? We can help you," Vivian said eagerly.
"Oh! It's not much—just two basins of well water, and each of you needs to get a rooster that's at least two years old. You have to kill it yourselves and collect a small bowl of blood from its comb. When I start the treatment, that blood is essential for drawing out the poison." Shawn explained.
"Okay! But does the rooster really have to be at least two years old? And do we really have to kill it ourselves?" Yvonne asked in a small, nervous voice.
"Yes, it has to be at least two years old! And you need to do it yourselves. Older roosters have stronger yang energy—when you kill it, it'll struggle fiercely and hold a grudge against the person who killed it, which creates a powerful, aggressive energy. That energy gathers in the comb, and using its blood for the treatment works best!" Shawn explained.
"Oh, I see! But I've never killed a chicken before... How do I do it? I don't know how—" Yvonne said, blushing and clearly nervous.
"Sorry, I can't help you with that! It has to be done by you for the ritual to work. If you don't know how, just learn—think of it as saving yourself! Life is long, and there are lots of things you only master through practice and learning." Shawn said.
"I... I'll do my best!" Yvonne replied, still nervous.
"Good, just do your best! Now let me go home and rest for the night. Tomorrow, you both need to be ready!" Shawn said. He genuinely needed to gather his true energy, since the ritual would consume a lot of it.
"Alright, we'll be ready. But Shawn, it's late and this place is far from Southern University. Even Uncle Zhang, our driver, is off for a few days. If you don't mind, why not stay here tonight?" Vivian suggested.
"Oh! Sure! Thanks, Aunt Vivian—I'll take you up on that!" Shawn was thrilled at the thought of spending the night with three gorgeous women.
"Don't mention it, we need your help! By the way, we’ve talked so long that everyone’s probably hungry. Sorry about that! Shawn, why don’t you chat with Yvonne and Lilian for a bit? I’ll go upstairs and cook." With that, Vivian headed upstairs.
As soon as Vivian and Yvonne went upstairs, Lilian immediately plopped down in front of Shawn, her big, beautiful eyes locking onto his. Blushing, she asked seriously, "Be honest with me—is it really necessary for them to be completely naked for the massage to work?"
