Mobilizing All Military Power to Save Ryan Ling

1/5/2026

America lives up to its reputation—its firepower is way stronger than Japan’s, but it’s also a hundred times more ruthless. The moment that missile blew, thousands of innocent civilians were killed, and countless more were left with rotting flesh, missing limbs, and injuries too gruesome to count.

That’s the horror of war for you. At least there’s one thing to be grateful for: Ryan Ling had Marshal Black Tortoise evacuate all the Chinese forces, and the whole Dragon Group nailed their part—everyone was out before the missile hit.

"Sir, target locked!"

"Second volley—make sure he’s dead!"

The American jets weren’t playing nice with Ryan at all. As soon as the first barrage ended, the second wave hit—four nuclear-tipped missiles launched in a tight cluster, all locked on Ryan.

Ryan’s heart skipped a beat. With nukes like these, his defenses might survive one at best—four incoming missiles meant there was only one option: run for it.

But he’d barely flown a few hundred meters when all four missiles switched to high-tracking mode. Each one let out a freaky whistle, got even smarter, and sped up several times over.

"Ryan, you’re in deep trouble now—these nukes are way too sharp, you’ll never shake them!" The Ghost Elder’s face went pale inside his body.

"If I can’t shake them, I’ll fight ‘em head-on!" Ryan snapped, unleashing all his defensive qi in an instant. The Demon-Snaring Bowl’s Primeval Heavenwood inside him flared up too, every root shooting out to wrap his vitals. At the same time, an invisible qi blade manifested behind him.

"Infernal Madblade Style, First Form—Severing Desire..." Ryan didn’t hesitate. He fired off his Infernal Madblade, actually planning to clash blade-to-nuke with raw saber force.

At that moment, in the Huaxia headquarters’ remote video booth, all the top Chinese generals—including the short, stocky officer—were completely stunned. Not only them, even the American missile crews were dumbfounded. Nobody expected a Chinese martial artist to go toe-to-toe with a missile using a saber. This was next-level, never-seen-before insanity.

Boom! As Ryan’s saber sliced through, the first missile exploded instantly. The blast knocked Ryan flying backward, snapping dozens of Heavenwood roots that were shielding him.

"Holy crap, this guy’s power could easily put him in China’s top ten. He actually blocked a nuke—this is nuts! If I hadn’t seen it myself, I’d never believe it…" Several Chinese generals stared wide-eyed at the screen.

The short officer didn’t say a word—his lips were trembling. But deep down, he knew exactly what was going on: Ryan was being pushed to the limit, forced into a do-or-die battle. Defense, attack—he’d maxed out everything he had.

This was martial madness—but maybe it was also the final curtain call for a martial artist.

"Reporting in, sir! Our forces have successfully evacuated all the Chinese trapped in Kyoto!"

"Reporting—Dragon Group tried to rush in and help, but with nukes this strong, even God Realm powerhouses can’t do squat. They had to fall back!"

"Our carriers and jets are prepped and ready to launch. Missile units have locked on target. Awaiting orders!"

......

"Deploy our elite fighters—intercept those missiles! No matter what, we have to bring Ryan back alive. Nothing can happen to him!" The short officer shouted, voice thick with emotion. Ryan had already done more than enough for China.

If it weren’t for him, every single Chinese in Kyoto would’ve been doomed.

If he hadn’t held off Japan’s top Itagaki Brigade—and even kept America’s F-22 squadron busy—the Huaxia coalition wouldn’t have wiped out all those Japanese coastal military bases so fast. Those bases were a deadly threat to China’s security; taking them out means at least fifty years of peace for Huaxia.

All this credit goes straight to Ryan. Shaking all of Japan was just a bonus—the real achievement is right here. So, official or personal, the Military Commission has to guarantee this hero’s safety. No question, he’s already a legend for the new era of Huaxia.

"Understood! The fighter wing is already airborne—ready to go all out against the American garrison. Even if our jets can’t match the F-22s, Huaxia’s pilots will show what real heroism looks like. We’ll learn from this young hero!"

"Missiles are live! No matter how many get intercepted, we’re taking down their jets!"

......

Several officers shouted out orders, each one laying down a military pledge.

"Sir, America’s Seventh Fleet has deployed!" a scout yelled.

"How many ships?" the short officer asked quickly.

"Over forty ships, including four carriers. And America’s HQ is moving even more forces. Orders from the top brass say this Japan campaign should stop here—don’t escalate further. They want our carriers and missile units to head home!" a liaison officer reported.

"Head home now? Bullshit! Are we just gonna leave Ryan to die? He saved everyone, and now he’s surrounded—what, we just bail on him?" Daniel Deng slammed his fist on the table, roaring.

"Sir, those are orders from above—we can’t just ignore them!" an aide blurted, trying to calm Daniel Deng down.

But Daniel Deng didn’t hesitate for a second. He slammed the table and barked, "Other people might burn the bridge after crossing, but I, Daniel Deng, won’t. Get me the South Sea Fleet and the East Sea Fleet—give strict orders: if they can block the U.S. Seventh Fleet, they’ll be national heroes!"

"Understood!" The surrounding soldiers snapped to attention, saluting him after his powerful declaration.

In an instant, every commander started mobilizing their forces. More and more eyes focused on the skies over Kyoto, watching this top-tier martial prodigy. He wasn’t just drawing East Asia’s attention anymore—the whole world’s leaders were watching.

One man triggering an almost global war—Ryan Ling’s name is about to go down in world history!

......

"Can Ryan hold out any longer?" Inside Ryan’s body, even the Ghost Elder was rattled by the nuclear shockwaves—his own soul felt like it was getting stabbed. Ryan himself was about to cough up blood; after that round of nukes, every last Heavenwood root defense was shattered, his body covered in bleeding wounds, blood trickling from his mouth, and several spots sunken in.

Clearly, the nuclear blasts left him not just battered outside, but seriously injured inside too!

And with the nukes, all of Kyoto was a wreck—dead and wounded everywhere. Ryan had wanted to save Japan’s innocent civilians, but now the city below was a living hell, a repeat of the atomic bomb nightmare, only getting worse. If this keeps up, Kyoto’s gonna be wiped off the map!

"The real victims are still the innocent civilians!" Ryan thought, feeling a wave of bitter sadness.

But those American F-22s weren’t showing a shred of mercy—they locked onto Ryan again, and this time it wasn’t just four missiles but eight. Ryan was in ultimate danger now!

"Ryan, if this keeps up you’ll be crippled or dead—run!" The Ghost Elder was freaking out watching all those missiles coming in. Last time Ryan barely survived four nukes, and that was already his limit. Now he was hurt—if another volley hit, he’d crash straight down and that’d be the end!

Ryan wanted to run too, but he couldn’t break free. Even at his peak, he couldn’t outrun supersonic missiles—let alone now, wounded as he was!

"Defense, defense!" Ryan tried to force his defenses up one last time, but to his shock, nothing worked. The damage from those last four nukes was even worse than he’d thought—now, all he could do was wait to die…
