Jiangnan Province has only one airport: Jiangnan Airport, located in Jiangnan City. The place is crowded with passengers and people picking up or dropping off flights.

Bzzz.

A medium-sized passenger jet roared as it soared into the clouds.

Through the small glass window of the cabin, Monica Zhang's delicate face flashed by, her gaze avidly fixed on the world below, radiating excitement and nervous joy, with no trace of anxiety.

This was the first time in her life that the girl had ever flown on a plane.

"Mmm."

"With the advance of technology, plane tickets in Sinovera have gotten cheaper and cheaper," Andrew Han mused inwardly. The Solidified Core Internal Power circulating within him was incomparably vast, like the surging, majestic flow of a great river.

Naturally, he wasn't worried at all.

Sinoveran aircraft are all equipped with rare ores that repel Demons and Specters. While these can't actually harm them, they make such creatures loathe approaching planes.

Moreover, avian Demons generally operate within the troposphere.

Planes typically cruise at altitudes above ten thousand meters, in the Earth's stratosphere, where conditions are stable and there is very little moisture or dust.

"Interesting."

The troposphere contains large amounts of dust and moisture. Even if an avian Demon passed by in the distance, ordinary eyes would struggle to detect it.

Andrew Han gently closed his eyes, a flash of brilliance flickering within them.

Two kilometers above the plane, to the upper left, a General-class Demon brimming with malice was circling in the sky. After hesitating for a while, it finally departed.

Fortunately, he had Inspiration.

Otherwise, Andrew would never have sensed the positions of these avian Demons, nor realized how many dangers the plane brushed past as it pierced the clouds.

In fact—

Monica had originally wanted to take the high-speed rail, since it is considered absolutely safe, with zero accidents. But because Andrew had booked two plane tickets, she chose to fly instead.

"It's so high."

"This is way too high."

As the plane climbed, only a thin layer of clouds remained below, making the girl feel both thrilled and a little scared.

Beside her.

After struggling internally, Andrew Han slowly extended his left hand—heavy as a mountain—and gently placed it over Monica Zhang's soft right hand, smiling as he said, "Don't worry, it's perfectly safe."

"Mm-hmm."

Her cheeks flushed red, but she didn't pull away.

She didn't overthink it, and of course had no idea that Andrew's "it's safe" was quite literally one hundred percent true.

"Mmm."

"If the plane crashed, or there was some accident, with my current Solidified Core Internal Power, I could probably carry Monica out," Andrew mused, squinting quietly to himself.

The maximum altitude for Daylight Ascent is over a hundred meters!

As long as he kept striking the air below them with Internal Power during descent, generating rebound force to slow their fall, they could absolutely land on the ground unharmed.

That's right.

He couldn't actually fly, but he certainly wouldn't die from a fall.

"I'm just too strong."

Unless they happened to run into a freak tornado, which would be a bit dangerous—but their luck shouldn't be that bad.

...

...

Two and a half hours later.

The medium-sized passenger jet landed smoothly on the runway at the Imperial Capital Airport in Sinovera. The cabin doors opened, and passengers exited one after another in neat order.

"Wow!"
