Bella Bell was stunned when she heard Lily Evans's words. She thought to herself, 'What nonsense is this? Lily Evans never tried to find me a husband!'

Just as Bella Bell realized Lily Evans was playing a trick, she hurriedly signaled to Leonard Li. But as soon as Leonard Li heard Lily Evans say that Bella Bell's marriage would be settled next month, his mind went blank in panic. "Oh really? Just now, someone claimed he came to the academy purely to teach and that he liked children," Lily Evans said with a sly grin.

Seeing Leonard Li finally admit the truth, Lily Evans snorted, "I was just messing with you. I couldn't bear to find Bella Bell a husband—I want to keep her around for a few more years."

Lily Evans just smiled and patted Leonard Li on the shoulder, "If you truly want Bella Bell as your bride, then you must win her heart yourself. I won't interfere."

Leonard Li nodded earnestly, "Thank you, Lily. I won't let you down."

Meanwhile, Bella Bell hid in the garden, her cheeks still burning, not daring to face Leonard Li.

Lily Evans found Bella Bell and teased, "You should have seen Leonard Li's face when he called you his bride!"

Bella Bell glared at Lily Evans, "Please, don't make fun of me!"

Lily Evans laughed, "Alright, I won't tease you anymore. But I do hope you and Leonard Li end up together."

Bella Bell blushed again and mumbled, "It's not that easy..."

Leonard Li gathered his courage and walked into the garden, "Bella Bell, I meant what I said. I want you to be my bride."

Bella Bell looked at him, her heart pounding, "Leonard Li, are you serious?"

Leonard Li nodded, his eyes gentle, "I've never been more serious about anything in my life."

Bella Bell smiled shyly, her heart finally at ease.
