General Jiao, the Demon Drake

1/18/2026

Demon cultivators are innately brutal, lacking any real moral guidance. Deep down, they worship strength above all else. Killing their own kind doesn't bother them in the slightest—in fact, it thrills them, because devouring a fellow demon makes them stronger.

So, as soon as Ian Song gave the order, two million demon soldiers surged into Demonfall City, burning, looting, and slaughtering without restraint. Screams and roars echoed throughout the city.

If Ian Song hadn’t finally stepped in out of pity and stopped their rampage, the entire demon population of Demonfall City would likely have been wiped out.

Even so, those demon soldiers gorged themselves until their faces glowed red, and tens of thousands broke through to higher realms on the spot after devouring their peers.

A day later.

After regrouping, Ian Song’s army of over two million soldiers set off for another city.

Ten days passed in the blink of an eye.

Led by Ian Song, the demon army rampaged through the White Tiger Demon Domain, destroying a total of eight cities of various sizes. News of this chaos soon reached the Red Dragon King Court, enraging the royal court.

The Red Dragon King personally led his army to besiege the Nether Phoenix Demon Kingdom, leaving his eldest son, Crown Prince Roland Reddragon, in charge of the royal court.

Crown Prince Roland Reddragon was not yet a thousand years old, but his cultivation had already reached the early Tribulation realm. On top of that, he had awakened a trace of ancient true-dragon bloodline, making him so powerful that even most late Tribulation experts were no match for him.

As for the Red Dragon King, his cultivation had already reached the peak of the late Tribulation realm. Even though he hadn't awakened the ancient true-dragon bloodline, his combat strength was still terrifying—rumor had it he could go toe-to-toe with Immortals and remain undefeated.

In the Heavenly Dragon Hall of the Red Dragon King Court...

Crown Prince Roland Reddragon, as acting regent, sat high upon the throne. He wore a cyan robe, his figure tall and lean. Although not handsome, he radiated an imposing authority.

“Have you discovered the origins of that army in the White Tiger Demon Domain?”

An armored general stepped into the center of the hall and reported, “Your Highness, that army now numbers three million demon soldiers, but they’re just a rabble. Only fifteen late-Fusion demon kings are worth worrying about—they could be troublesome.”

Indeed, after destroying eight cities in a row, Ian Song’s army had swelled to three million. Repeated raids and battles had unleashed their ferocity; they fought with savage determination, and the weak had been weeded out along the way.

Now, among the three million demon soldiers, there were already five hundred thousand form-taking demon cultivators.

Crown Prince Roland Reddragon frowned slightly. By all rights, the Red Dragon Demon Kingdom was on the verge of sweeping the continent—only a fool would stand against them now.

And yet now, fifteen late-Fusion demon kings had suddenly appeared.

“Could these demon kings be Nether Phoenix’s hidden pieces, planted in the Red Dragon Demon Kingdom?”

Thinking of this, he sneered. The Nether Phoenix Demon Kingdom was already on its last legs—even sending more demon kings or Tribulation-realm demon lords would hardly matter.

But right now, with negotiations at a critical juncture between the Red Dragon Demon Kingdom and Nether Phoenix, it was vital to crush the rebel demon army as quickly as possible. Only then could they shatter Nether Phoenix's last hopes.

With that in mind, Crown Prince Roland Reddragon's eyes flashed coldly. He said in a deep voice, “General Jiao, the Demon Drake! I order you to take two hundred thousand Dragon Guard Army elites and wipe out that rebel demon force. Do you dare accept?”

General Jiao, the Demon Drake, was the one standing in the center of the hall.

He grinned arrogantly. “Your Highness, why bother sending two hundred thousand Dragon Guards against a rabble? Give me fifty thousand and I’ll have them running for their lives!”

The Dragon Guard Army was the Red Dragon Kingdom’s elite force. Even ordinary soldiers were at the Out-of-Body realm, squad leaders at late Out-of-Body, and centurions at Soul-Split.

Thousand-man commanders were late Soul-Split experts, while ten-thousand-man commanders were at the Fusion realm.

As for General Jiao, the Demon Drake, he possessed terrifying mid-Tribulation realm cultivation.

Crown Prince Roland Reddragon said gravely, “This is a critical moment for my Red Dragon Demon Kingdom. Failure is not an option. You have one month to eliminate that demon army, or I’ll have your head!”

General Jiao, the Demon Drake, stiffened. “I accept, Your Highness. I won’t let you down!”

General Jiao, the Demon Drake, was an impatient man. As soon as court ended, he went straight to the Dragon Guard Army barracks, assembled two hundred thousand troops, and soon, clouds of black demon energy shot into the sky as they sped toward the White Tiger Demon Domain.

Meanwhile, in the uneasy Nether Phoenix Demon Kingdom, news of the White Tiger Domain rebellion arrived—instantly lifting the spirits of the entire royal court.

But seeing this, the elderly King Morin Netherphoenix could only sigh softly.

“Father, why are you sighing? Aren’t you happy to hear this news?”

Princess Thalia asked innocently.

King Morin Netherphoenix had thirteen daughters—yes, thirteen, and not a single son.

All the others were married off, but Princess Thalia was his favorite, kept at his side and groomed as his successor. Unfortunately, before she could grow into her role, the Nether Phoenix Demon Kingdom suffered defeat after defeat and now teetered on the brink of destruction.

If not for the Red Dragon King’s fear of more than ten Demon Immortals, the last two cities and the capital would have already fallen.

After rounds of negotiation, out of fifteen Demon Immortals, seven had already tilted toward the Red Dragon Kingdom. If more than half switched sides, the Nether Phoenix Demon Kingdom could be wiped out in an instant.

So right now, the attitude of those Demon Immortals was what mattered most. The rebel demon army in the White Tiger Domain hardly affected the bigger picture.

White Tiger Demon Domain.

After a day and night of travel, General Jiao, the Demon Drake, and his two hundred thousand Dragon Guard Army finally reached the White Tiger Demon Domain. According to scouts, the rebel demon army was now less than two hundred thousand li away—they’d meet in less than half a day.

General Jiao, the Demon Drake, was supremely confident. To him, those three million demon soldiers were just numbers on his future merit scroll.

In a mansion inside a city two hundred thousand li away, Ian Song lounged leisurely, sipping tea.

Suddenly, Ricky the Rat King arrived with news.

“Good timing!”

Ian Song’s eyes lit up. The Dragon Guard Army was the Red Dragon Kingdom’s elite—devouring these two hundred thousand would be far more shocking than razing every city in the White Tiger Demon Domain.

After all, ninety percent of the form-taking demon cultivators in the White Tiger Demon Domain had already been siphoned away, leaving it an empty shell.

Once he confirmed the Dragon Guard Army’s arrival, Ian Song sprang into action.

He summoned Huang Yan and began laying down formations throughout the city.

A short while later...

General Jiao, the Demon Drake, led his two hundred thousand Dragon Guard Army in a fierce assault.

Ian Song ordered Tiger King to lead five hundred thousand demon soldiers out of the city to meet them head-on.

Sure enough, in just half an hour, Tiger King’s five hundred thousand were routed—helmets and armor scattered everywhere—as they fled back toward the city.

“As expected, nothing but a rabble!”

Seeing the fleeing demon soldiers, General Jiao, the Demon Drake, sneered and waved his hand. “All troops, pursue!”

Watching from the city wall, Ian Song smiled faintly.
