Sean Shen and Bald Lee exchanged glances, then agreed to leave together with Elder Simon Spring.
Once all three were ready, Elder Joe Qiao took out his Space Ring, brought the three inside, and then left the Blue Robe Sect.
After leaving the Blue Robe Sect, Elder Joe Qiao released the three of them.
"Thanks for your help this time," Elder Simon Spring said to Elder Joe Qiao.
"Senior brother, no need to be polite. I’m just doing what I can," Elder Joe Qiao replied.
"I’ll head out first. If you hear any news about that kid, let me know," Elder Simon Spring said, leaving the Blue Robe Sect. He felt much more relaxed—at least outside, he could go anywhere he wanted without trouble.
Elder Joe Qiao said goodbye to Elder Simon Spring, then returned to the Blue Robe Sect himself.
"Sect Master, what do we do now?" Sean Shen had followed Elder Simon Spring out, so he naturally knew what was next.
"Tracking Evan Yang is a technical job. With just the three of us, it’s very difficult. So you need to do your best to find his whereabouts—and that means using intelligence networks," Elder Simon Spring said.
"Intelligence?" Sean Shen asked, confused.
"Let’s check the Immortal Oracle Agency," Elder Simon Spring said.
"There? I heard it costs tens of millions of upper-grade Immortal Source just to find one person," Sean Shen exclaimed, shocked.
"I’ve accumulated quite a bit over the years. Anyway, before I die, I’m determined to wipe out that kid," Elder Simon Spring said, now consumed by hatred for Evan Yang. Even if his own life was short, he would find Evan, destroy his soul, and only then rest easy.
Sean Shen didn’t know why Elder Simon Spring spoke of dying, but seeing he had the means to go to the Immortal Oracle Agency, they had no choice but to follow.
Once Elder Simon Spring was fully prepared, he went to the Immortal Oracle Agency.
Meanwhile, Evan Yang had already arrived at Flowcloud Star. "Let’s go to the Chu Family and see how the clan head is doing," he said.
He knew the Chu Family was on Flowcloud Star and had a rough idea of their situation. Plus, on Flowcloud Star, the Chu Family was the only one he knew.
When he arrived at the Chu Family estate where he’d once stayed, he found it unexpectedly deserted—there was no one around.
"Strange, it’s been less than a hundred years—how did it end up like this?" Evan Yang wondered in confusion, so he went to a nearby shop to ask what happened.
Evan Yang walked into a wine shop, approached the shopkeeper, and asked, "Boss, what happened to the Chu Family across the street?"
"Chu Family? What Chu Family?" The shopkeeper asked, confused.
"The Chu Family that was here a century ago," Evan Yang replied.
"Oh, you mean that Chu Family? They left decades ago," the shopkeeper said.
"They left? Why?" Evan Yang knew this was the Chu Family’s base, their foundation—how could they just leave? He was baffled.
"What else? The Chu Family and Li Family were rivals. Later, the Li Family brought in reinforcements. When the Chu Family saw things turning bad, they disbanded the clan. What happened after that, I don’t know," the shopkeeper explained.
Evan Yang understood. He realized he’d probably brought trouble to the Chu Family indirectly. That so-called reinforcements were likely from the Shadow Soul Sect.
Thinking of all this, Evan Yang could only sigh helplessly.
"Kid, what’s your connection to the Chu Family? Why are you asking so many questions?" the shopkeeper asked curiously.
"I’d call us friends. I didn’t expect the Chu Family to go through something like this," Evan Yang replied.
"I see. Looks like you came for nothing. The Chu Family estate is empty now—everyone’s gone," the shopkeeper said.
"Got it, thanks," Evan Yang said, then left the tavern. Outside, he gazed at the desolate Chu Family estate and sighed helplessly. "I wonder what Chase Chu would think if he knew?"
Just then, a voice called out, "Go up to the second floor."
"Second floor?" Evan Yang heard the voice and realized someone was sending him a message, so he walked upstairs, puzzled.
This tavern had several floors, so Evan Yang took the stairs up to the second.
He glanced around and saw only strangers, until the voice came again: "By the window, where someone sits alone."
Evan Yang looked and saw that, indeed, several tables by the window had people, but only one had a single occupant. Curious, he walked over, sat down, and asked the stranger, "May I ask who you are?"
"You’re Evan Yang, Chase Chu’s master, aren’t you?" the man asked after looking Evan over.
Evan Yang asked in surprise, "And you are?"
"I’m Quinn Chu, Chase Chu’s second uncle. My big brother Victor Chu told me about you. I’ve spent years cultivating in a sect, so few people know me," Quinn Chu explained.
Evan Yang was surprised by this and asked, "Senior, what about Patriarch Chu and the others?"
"He’s not doing well," Quinn Chu said, frowning.
"What happened?" Evan Yang sensed something was wrong.
"He dissolved the clan and then came to find me. After I came out of seclusion, we met up and he told me about you. We were planning to go to the Blue Robe Sect and find Chase Chu, but we ran into the Li Family. He didn’t want both of us to be captured, so he made me leave, but he himself..." Quinn Chu grew angrier as he spoke.
"So he’s at the Li Family now?" Evan Yang was shocked. All of this trouble started because of him, and now the Chu Family had not only been dissolved, but the clan head had been captured.
"Yes. And the Shadow Soul Sect is involved too. They’ve joined forces with the Li Family and are searching everywhere for you. Capturing my big brother is clearly meant to draw you out. I didn’t expect you’d really show up—I was just here on the off chance," Quinn Chu said.
Evan Yang hadn’t expected so much to have happened. He said, "I’ve caused all this trouble for the Chu Family."
"It’s not your fault. I know it was the sword art you taught Chase Chu that stirred things up, and your strength caught their attention. It’s natural they want to capture you," Quinn Chu said, shaking his head.
"Do you know where Patriarch Chu is being held in the Li Family estate?" Evan Yang asked.
"He’s still on this planet, in a manor. But the place is heavily guarded. Every time I try to get close, their experts spot me—I can’t get in," Quinn Chu said.

"I see. Senior, please tell me the location. I’ll handle the rest," Evan Yang said.
"You want to go?" Quinn Chu was shocked by Evan Yang’s words.
"I caused this mess, so it’s only right for me to fix it. Please, just tell me," Evan Yang said.
Quinn Chu looked Evan Yang up and down. He hadn’t expected someone so loyal—even if Evan wasn’t very strong, he had this kind of heart. Though Quinn Chu wanted to tell him, Evan’s strength was simply too weak; not only would he fail to rescue Victor Chu, he might get himself killed.
"I think we should gather more people. Otherwise, we’ll be spotted before we even get close," Quinn Chu said, shaking his head.
"Don’t worry, I have my own way," Evan Yang said.
"You have a way?" Quinn Chu looked at Evan Yang, puzzled.
Evan Yang smiled. "I have a way."
Seeing Evan Yang so confident, Quinn Chu finally told him the location, but warned, "If it really won’t work, just retreat and come find me here."
"Don’t worry," Evan Yang said.
