Yang Han was surprised when he heard this, feeling it necessary to get to the bottom of things. He grabbed the other party, who struggled several times. Even though sealing the tunnel had already drained much of his strength, Yang Han still had to expend considerable power to subdue him.
At this moment, he was already sealed by Yang Han and tossed aside. The Ghost Lord exclaimed in shock, "You actually know one of the Three Great Forbidden Arts!"
"Three Great Forbidden Arts?" Yang Han asked suspiciously.
"Don't you know the power you used to seal me?" The Ghost Lord asked, seeing Yang Han's confusion.
"I only know this ability can seal and suppress someone's cultivation. As for the Three Great Forbidden Arts, I really have no idea." Yang Han replied honestly.
"You're really lucky—got the Three Great Forbidden Arts and don't even understand it. What kind of fate is this?" The Ghost Lord said bitterly.
"Fate? I don't know what you're talking about. You'd better hurry up and explain what's going on, and where this tunnel leads. You said you want to turn this place into darkness—what's that about?" Yang Han asked.
"I'm not telling you," said the Ghost Lord.
"If you won't talk, I have plenty of ways to make you speak. You'd better think carefully," Yang Han said.
"I don't believe you can make me talk. What, are you going to destroy my body? Wipe out my soul? Let me tell you, only half of my soul is here. Even if you kill me, the other half survives elsewhere, so you can never truly kill me." The Ghost Lord sneered.
"The other half of your soul? That's bizarre—can a soul really be split in two?" Yang Han was intrigued by the claim.
"That's none of your business," Grimm Gable snorted.
"Looks like I'll have to use some methods after all," Yang Han chuckled. He took out a pill, and Grimm Gable eyed it suspiciously, "What is that?"
"It's a pill I often use. It makes people tell the truth. I'm not sure if it'll work on someone like you, but let's give it a try." Yang Han guessed Grimm Gable's power was sealed, so now he was just like an ordinary person. Maybe the pill would actually work, so he smiled as he spoke.
Hearing this, Grimm Gable was half skeptical. "Impossible. There's no such pill in the world."
"Nothing's impossible. You'll know once you take it." Yang Han smiled and made Grimm Gable swallow the Mind-Veil Pill.
After Grimm Gable swallowed it, he gradually slipped into a trance. Yang Han looked at the unconscious Grimm Gable and smiled, "Tell me your name."
"My name is Grimm Gable," he answered one by one.
"Grimm Gable? That's a strange name. Go ahead, where are you from, and who do you serve?" Yang Han smiled.
"I come from the Nether Sky Realm and serve the Nether Sky Demon King," Grimm Gable answered.
"Then what's your purpose here?" Yang Han asked, curious about these unfamiliar names.
"To devour this world-realm, so the Nether Sky Realm grows even larger," Grimm Gable replied.
"Nether Sky Realm? What kind of place is that? Is it a world-realm or something else?" Yang Han asked suspiciously.
"The Nether Sky Realm was founded by the Nether Sky Demon King. It contains over a hundred first-grade world-realms, more than a thousand second-grade world-realms, and some lesser-known realms," Grimm Gable explained.
"Devouring world-realms? What benefit does that bring you?" Yang Han asked, still confused by the grading system.
"The more world-realms there are, the stronger the Nether Sky Demon King becomes," Grimm Gable said.
"I see. So when you say darkness is coming, when exactly is that?" Yang Han asked.
"I don't know. Maybe soon. I've already sent the message back, and they'll start activating the Nether Sky Abyss here before long," Grimm Gable replied.
"Nether Sky Abyss?" Yang Han asked suspiciously.
"That's right. The Nether Sky Abyss in this world-realm has existed for a long time. No one can approach it—only spirit beasts are lured inside to become our army," Grimm Gable explained.
"So what are you doing here instead of guarding that place?" Yang Han was curious—since Grimm Gable came because of that strange location, why wasn't he stationed there.
Grimm Gable answered, "The Heaven-Scorching Furnace. I was after the Heaven-Scorching Furnace—almost managed to unseal it, didn't want anyone else to take it."
Once Yang Han understood the situation, he woke Grimm Gable. When he came to, Grimm Gable exclaimed, "What did you do to me?"
"Grimm Gable, right? From the Nether Sky Realm," Yang Han said with a smile.
Grimm Gable was utterly shocked—he hadn't expected to really spill everything, and stared at Yang Han in disbelief. "You!"
"What about it? You've already told me, so there's nothing left to hide. Besides, I'm actually quite interested in your Nether Sky Realm—maybe one day I'll meet your Nether Sky Demon King," Yang Han said with a smile.
Now Grimm Gable was completely stunned. He never expected Yang Han to learn so much from his own mouth.
"What do you want?" Grimm Gable asked angrily.
"I don't want anything in particular. Just saying—let's go. I'll keep you around; you'll be useful for meeting the Nether Sky Realm later." Yang Han smiled, kidnapping Grimm Gable for future use as a link to the Nether Sky Realm.
With everything settled, Yang Han glanced at the tunnel and saw it gradually vanish, leaving no trace behind.
