She Has Always Been Thinking of You

As soon as Shawn Young heard Yara Zen's words, his emotions surged once again. He knew Yara was planning to fully 'join' his side, and this little minx was a master at flirting—not just with her seductive voice, but also by blowing warm breath into his ear while pressing her full, bouncy chest tightly against him.

"Master—Yara has made up her mind. Don't you... like it?" Yara Zen asked in a deliberately coy voice.

With such a clear declaration from this beauty, Shawn Young would have to be a fool not to respond. Actually, after hearing Yara Zen's tragic backstory, he'd already decided to 'bring her into his fold.' His only worry was how to explain things to May Gu or Xiao Yuewu—especially May Gu, since Yara still worked under her.

So he hesitated and asked, "Yara, it’s not that I don’t want to... but you’re so capable—if you suddenly tell Elder Gu you want to leave, won’t she blame me and say I poached you?"

Yara Zen giggled, "So that's what Master is worried about! Honestly, you don’t need to worry about that at all—" she whispered suddenly.

"Oh? Why shouldn’t I worry?" Shawn Young asked curiously.

Yara Zen shot him a charming glance and said, "Master, did you know Elder Gu talks about you all the time? She’s always thinking about you!"

"Huh? May—May Gu, why is she thinking about me?! What do I have that's worth her attention?" Shawn Young’s heart raced at her words, and his mind instantly conjured up the image of the stunning, irresistibly seductive May Gu.

A rush of heat surged through his body. Shawn felt that only a woman like May Gu could quell the wild, burning desire inside him. Worried his expression was too obvious, he did his best to suppress his excitement and asked in a calm tone.

"Hehe—Master, why do you react so strongly every time Elder Gu is mentioned?" Yara Zen teased him with a playful giggle.

"Uh—not at all? Am I... really that obvious?" Shawn Young denied immediately.

Yara Zen giggled, "Master, you’re not a good liar—your mouth says one thing, but your body says another. Are you secretly thinking about Elder Gu?" She blushed and pointed at Shawn’s crotch. Shawn quickly looked down to find Little Shawn had already pitched a tent, pressing right up against Yara’s belly.

"Uh—this—this is a misunderstanding—a huge misunderstanding—I really didn’t mean it like that—" Shawn hurried to cover up.

Yara Zen giggled, "But Yara likes this kind of misunderstanding, Master." She deliberately pressed closer, even reaching out her delicate hand to gently scratch his bulge.

Yara's teasing made Shawn's heart burn with desire—he wanted to pin this minx to the table and 'punish' her on the spot. But Yara just grinned and said, "Master, let me tell you—Elder Gu keeps thinking about you because Luna Xiao once said your cultivated energy is really complementary to hers!"

"Huh? My cultivated energy complements May Gu’s?" Shawn Young asked curiously.

"No, it’s actually complementary to Luna Xiao’s! Luna’s energy is pure Yin, while Elder Gu’s is also Yin, but her constitution is different, so it’s not as extreme. That’s why Elder Gu’s cultivation isn’t as high as Luna Xiao’s!" Yara Zen explained.

"Uh—so Luna Xiao’s cultivation is really that high?" Shawn remembered Luna as quite skilled, but not so powerful as to shock him.

"Of course! Andrew Qi and those rebellious Japanese have been trying to stage a comeback, but since Luna Xiao was on guard this time, they haven’t found a chance to strike!" Yara Zen said.

Shawn Young’s mind raced, and he quickly asked, "Oh? Do you guys have any news about that old fox Andrew Qi?!"

Yara Zen nodded, then shook her head and sighed, "Andrew Qi is a real headache. Ever since his failed coup, he fled back to Hong Kong. Without the leader’s Jade Dragon Signet, most of the elders from the Thirteen Enforcers refused to follow him, so he’s been hiding out. We don’t know his exact whereabouts, but we do know who’s backing him! He’s definitely plotting his comeback under their protection—"

"Oh—I see. So, who exactly are these backers?" Shawn Young silently decided that once he had Andrew Qi’s location, he’d go after him—no matter how dangerous.

"Oh, Andrew Qi is pretty close with the Eaststar Triad—so he’s probably hiding somewhere in their territory!" Yara Zen replied.

"Eaststar?! I’ve seen them in Hong Kong movies—but what’s their real background? How do they compare to the Hung Brotherhood? I’m not too clear on that, just know they’re not to be messed with in Hong Kong!" Shawn Young frowned.

"Yeah, Eaststar’s one of the old triads in the city. Their history is long, and I can’t explain it all at once, but Master, just know this—Eaststar’s influence in Hong Kong has always rivaled the Hung Brotherhood. In recent years, they’ve been working closely with overseas gangs, especially those in Taiwan and Japan. Sometimes their power even surpasses the Hung Brotherhood! Plus, Eaststar punks love to stir up trouble, so it’s best not to mess with them—" Yara Zen explained simply.

"Oh—but I still have more questions for you—" Shawn Young nodded, determined to get all the details he needed.

Just then, the doorbell rang outside the private room—it was the waiter bringing their food. Yara Zen said, "Master, let’s eat first! We can talk while we eat—"

"Yeah, sounds good! Let’s eat and talk!" Shawn Young nodded—his stomach was really growling by now.
