Beating Up God Emperors

1/18/2026

In the primordial-chaos universe, chaos energy is everywhere. Here, divine sense is basically useless—if you release it outside your body, it gets instantly assimilated by the chaos.

Of course.

Ian Song is the exception.

He just needs to coat his divine sense with a layer of chaos-attribute divine power, and he can still send it out as usual.

In the God Realm, the primordial-chaos universe is divided into three zones.

The first zone is called the Chaos Boundary Zone; this region contains tens of thousands of God Realms.

All these worlds have to absorb chaos energy and convert it into origin power, so the chaos energy here is relatively thin, and the suppression on God Emperors is milder.

Beyond this zone lies the Chaos Wasteland.

The chaos energy in the Wasteland is much denser—in that place, a God Emperor can only use a few percent of their strength at most, and Holy Emperors can barely exert one percent.

The treacherous area where the three Holy Emperors went to seek the supreme treasure is inside the Chaos Wasteland.

Deep within the Chaos Wasteland is the Chaos Death Zone. It's said the chaos energy there is so thick it can't be dispersed—even Holy Emperors who enter are directly assimilated. Only those who have transcended the God Realm and become Creators can resist the assimilation and are qualified to enter the Chaos Death Zone.

Ian had already memorized the map to the danger zone, but in the primordial-chaos universe, it’s always dim, and chaos energy fills the air, so even with his eyes, he can only see a few kilometers ahead.

Luckily, his divine sense still works. After a quick scan, he headed straight for the Chaos Wasteland.

In the blink of an eye—

Ian had already been flying through the primordial-chaos universe for several days. It was honestly pretty dull.

Judging by his speed and calculations, he figured it would take a few more months just to exit the Chaos Boundary Zone and enter the Chaos Wasteland. To reach that dangerous area, it’d be at least half a year.

"Someone’s there!"

Ian whispered. With a sweep of his divine sense, he detected a God Emperor flying diagonally toward him from tens of thousands of kilometers away. By his calculations, they’d meet in about thirty breaths.

"God-King!"

Thirty breaths later, a burly young God Emperor in blue robes spotted Ian and couldn’t help but look confused. Since when could a God-King just stroll around in the primordial-chaos universe?

Immediately, he thought of a possibility: maybe this God-King had some kind of treasure that could block the assimilation of chaotic energy. For a moment, he was deeply tempted—after all, flying through the primordial-chaos universe meant he had to constantly burn divine power just to resist the chaos energy’s erosion.

If he could snatch that treasure for himself, he wouldn’t have to keep burning divine power to fend off the chaos anymore.

“Hey there!”

Ian took the initiative to greet him, while secretly wondering which God Realm this God Emperor was from.

“Hello, little friend. You’re just at the God-King level, right? How are you even surviving in the chaos?”

The other party feigned curiosity as he asked.

"I practiced a special cultivation method. It lets me resist the assimilation of chaos energy," Ian replied offhandedly, making up an excuse on the spot.

“Heh heh! So that’s how it is!”

His expression suddenly turned cold, and he sneered, “Little friend, if you know what’s good for you, hand over your special technique. Otherwise…!”

“Otherwise what?”

Ian looked at him with a half-smile, half-smirk.

“Otherwise, I’ll kill you!”

He spoke in a chilling, sinister tone.

“Go ahead and try.”

Ian’s face was full of playful amusement.

“Reckless fool!”

The God Emperor stepped forward in a flash, instantly closing the distance and thrusting his palm toward Ian’s chest.

Ian wasn’t afraid at all. He threw a punch to meet the attack head-on.

Boom!

Palm and fist collided in the chaos-filled void, and then—

The God Emperor was sent flying, tumbling back several hundred meters before finally steadying himself.

“That weak?”

Ian looked at him with genuine surprise. He’d only used thirty percent of his strength, yet still managed to send the guy flying.

The God Emperor’s face flashed with disbelief, and his eyes filled with wariness. Suddenly, he burst out laughing, “Haha, little friend, I was just joking around earlier. Hope you don’t mind!”

Whoosh!

In a blur, Ian suddenly appeared right in front of him and threw a punch.

Bang!

His fist landed squarely on the guy’s eye socket, sending him flying again.

“You!”

The God Emperor, now hundreds of meters away, glared furiously at Ian—especially since his left eye was sporting a fresh black eye, making him look utterly ridiculous.

“Haha, I was just joking with you too! Hope you don’t mind!”

Ian looked at him with playful mockery as he spoke.

“You’re asking for it!”

Now completely enraged, the God Emperor summoned a God-Emperor artifact and charged at Ian at full speed.

Bang!

But the moment he rushed in, Ian casually kicked him away.

In a flash, Ian chased him down and stomped repeatedly on his chest, making blood trickle from the guy’s mouth.

“Bastard, I’ll kill—!”

Bang!

Ian stomped right on his mouth, knocking out both rows of his teeth in one go.
