Evan Lin ignored the man next to him and looked at the suited staffer, stating his name.

"Come in. Don’t just stand there."

Dressed to the nines.

Seeing Victor Wu come out to lead the way, the suited staffer was stunned. He glanced at Evan Lin, then at Victor Wu, still confused.

"I don’t know the room number yet," Evan Lin replied, shaking his head.

A mechanical reply came from Evan Lin’s phone.

The man looked at Evan Lin with open disdain, impatience already showing in his eyes.

Evan Lin put away his phone, looking perfectly calm: "Probably because the plane just took off."

Evan Lin spat out the two words.

"He looked so confident just now—I thought he was telling the truth."

The man didn’t dare hesitate and quickly stepped aside for Evan Lin.

"Alright, buddy, stop making trouble. Why not just wait at the entrance? If you hang around here, you’ll eventually see the celebrity you’re after."

A few reporters holding cameras shouted at Evan Lin.

"If you don’t mind, please tell me your name. I’ll have the front desk check if there’s any reservation under it."

The suited man nodded at Evan Lin, ready to move him aside: "Whether you’re a reporter or a fan, please keep it under control. If you cause trouble at a time like this—"

He leaned closer to Evan Lin, lowering his voice with a warning: "Don’t blame me for being rough with you!"

But to his surprise, he saw Evan Lin actually pull out his phone and start dialing.

He sounded genuinely concerned, like he was giving heartfelt advice.

The others weren’t surprised at all. Still, their gazes at Evan Lin carried a trace of pity.

"My name is Evan Lin."

Evan Lin ignored the man next to him and looked at the suited staffer, stating his name.

"Evan Lin?"

The suited man frowned at the name, quickly thinking it over, then shook his head: "Sorry, I don’t recall any reservation under that name."

"Just to avoid any misunderstanding, please tell me your room number and I’ll have someone check for you."

"I don’t know the room number yet," Evan Lin replied, shaking his head.

"You don’t know the room number? Then how did you book a room?"

The man looked at Evan Lin with open disdain, impatience already showing in his eyes.

"My friend booked it."

"Oh, alright. Why don’t you call your friend and let them talk to me?" The man sneered, "Anyone staying here today—besides celebrities—is a big shot from some circle."

"I may not be great at recognizing faces, but I’ve got a good memory. If your friend calls and introduces themselves, I’ll know if you’re telling the truth."

"So, are you brave enough to make the call?"

The man’s lips curled with a scornful smile. He wasn’t in a hurry; he just stared at Lin Yi.

He happened to be bored today anyway and figured he’d use Lin Yi as an example to warn others.

That way, when more people arrived later, no one else would try to sneak in.

Everyone around turned to look at Lin Yi.

The man had expected this kid to back down at least a little.

But to his surprise, he saw Lin Yi actually pull out his phone and start dialing.

Seeing this, the man felt a jolt of surprise, and the people around him were all visibly shocked.

"Did he really book a room?"

"He actually looks legit, doesn’t he?"

A mechanical reply came from Evan Lin’s phone.

Evan Lin put away his phone, looking perfectly calm: "Probably because the plane just took off."

Everyone waited.

"He looked so confident just now—I thought he was telling the truth."

"Sorry, the number you dialed is powered off."

"Alright, buddy, stop making trouble. Why not just wait at the entrance? If you hang around here, you’ll eventually see the celebrity you’re after."

"It’s powered off."

Lin Yi put away his phone, looking perfectly calm: "Probably because the plane just took off."

As soon as he said that, everyone who’d expected a twist rolled their eyes.

"He looked so confident just now—I thought he was telling the truth."

"Turns out he slipped up. Doesn’t know the room number, can’t reach his friend—how would he even book a room?"

"Alright, buddy, stop making trouble. Why not just wait at the entrance? If you hang around here, you’ll eventually see the celebrity you’re after."

A few reporters holding cameras shouted at Lin Yi.

"If there’s nothing else, please don’t stand in front of the main entrance. You can wait to the side—the door needs to stay clear for guests."

The suited man nodded at Lin Yi, ready to move him aside: "Whether you’re a reporter or a fan, please keep it under control. If you cause trouble at a time like this—"

He leaned closer to Lin Yi, lowering his voice with a warning: "Don’t blame me for being rough with you!"

He had just finished speaking.

When, from inside, someone walked out.

"Sorry, I know this guy. Let him in."

The person who came out was a man.

Victor Wu stood in front of Evan Lin, looking at him with a cold expression and a slight frown.

"Come in. Don’t just stand there."

After speaking, he took the lead and walked ahead.

Seeing Victor Wu come out to lead the way, the suited staffer was stunned. He glanced at Lin Yi, then at Victor Wu, still confused.

He remembered Victor Wu.

Victor Wu had just gone inside—he’s Yara Song’s manager.

But Victor Wu actually came out just for this kid?

"Make way."

Evan Lin spat out the two words.

"Uh, sorry, I didn’t know you had friends inside. My apologies."

The man didn’t dare hesitate and quickly stepped aside for Evan Lin.

With someone leading him in, he couldn’t block the way anymore.

But Victor Wu...

Could this kid really be Yara Song’s friend?

That shouldn’t be possible.

The reporters were still stunned, but soon someone reacted and started frantically snapping photos.

No one wanted to miss a scoop.

This was big news.

Yara Song had almost no scandals before this!
