Ryan Ling froze for a moment. He didn’t actually know what this Nine-Fiend Demon Thunder was, but judging from Celia Xiao’s anxious expression, it was obviously insanely powerful—powerful enough that even a top-tier expert like Celia was seriously worried!
"Wife, what do we do now?" At this point, Ryan couldn’t move a muscle—and even worse, he could feel the power Celia Xiao had blessed him with starting to fade. His situation was going downhill fast!
"Don’t panic, I’ll figure something out!" Celia Xiao clearly cared a ton about Ryan. Seeing him in trouble, she was ready to step in herself. Ryan couldn’t help but feel a wave of warmth—sure, Celia was a bit of a spoiled rich girl, but when it came to him, she was seriously good. Sometimes, having a woman take care of you is pretty awesome.
Of course, nobody else knew Ryan was getting special treatment from his immortal fairy wife, so everyone else around was freaking out.
Meanwhile, the Void Immortal just sneered coldly. Clearly, now that he’d unleashed Nine-Fiend Demon Thunder, Ryan’s so-called “top-tier skills” were about to be exposed as nothing but a fake front.
“Ha! Let’s see you block this! Nine-Fiend Demon Thunder can blow up even a Void Immortal—what chance does a little punk like you have?” The Void Immortal had gone totally nuts, yelling at the top of his lungs, clearly out for Ryan’s life.
Suddenly, there was a deafening boom—everything around Ryan blew up in an instant.
“Ryan!” Around him, even Lord Yama and all the other ghosts were floored.
“Blow him up! Blow him up! Ha!” The Void Immortal was screaming with excitement, totally losing it.
But right then, a cold, mocking voice rang out: “Old bastard, did you really think I was dead? Take a good look!”
"It’s Ryan! He’s actually fine!" Ghost Elder jumped up in shock.
"Impossible! Even with some super buff, there’s no way he could’ve blocked Nine-Fiend Demon Thunder. No way!" The Void Immortal was totally dumbstruck, clearly refusing to believe it.
Of course, what he didn’t know was that, in that split second, Celia Xiao had finally made her move. With a single sweep, she threw up a protective barrier around Ryan—a shield powered by her true body’s strength. With Celia’s protection, Ryan was totally unharmed!
"What the hell is going on? How are you not dead?" The Void Immortal was completely stunned—his explosion should’ve blown Hell itself sky-high, but Ryan didn’t even lose a hair. It was unreal.
"He’s fine, but now I’ve got a problem!" Suddenly, a spine-chilling female voice rang out. A pair of furious eyes locked onto him, like she was about to eat him alive!
"Holy crap!" Ryan blinked. He hadn’t expected Celia Xiao to show up in person—but after that blast from the Void Immortal, she pretty much had to. Ryan himself wasn’t hurt, but Celia’s image had taken a huge hit: her gorgeous hair was now a total bird’s nest, with black smoke rising from it.
"Who... who are you?" The Void Immortal stared at Celia, eyes wide, shaking all over. Then, with a thud, he dropped to his knees—pure terror.
"You really deserve to die! Go eat shit!" Celia Xiao was furious. With a swoosh, she snatched him up with some mysterious force and unleashed a wild barrage of slaps.
Smack smack smack smack smack...
In the blink of an eye, she’d slapped him a billion times—his face swelled up to ten times its size. The sight was enough to make anyone spit blood!
"What’s going on? What even is this?"
Around them, Lord Yama and all the ghosts were totally stunned. None of them could actually see Celia Xiao—they just saw the Void Immortal getting the absolute crap beaten out of him.
And then, just to make it even crazier, the moment the Void Immortal hit the ground, he actually rolled himself into the cesspit. The scene was so nuts, nobody could believe their eyes.
This mighty Void Immortal had zero power to resist Celia Xiao—he was nothing but terrified and desperate!
And after rolling into the cesspit, he kept kowtowing and begging for mercy, like he’d pissed off a literal god!
"Damn, she’s awesome!" Ryan couldn’t help but admire her—Celia Xiao was even scarier than he’d imagined. She didn’t just beat the Void Immortal in power, she crushed him with pure presence.
Now he was even more curious about who Celia Xiao really was!
"Spare me, please—have mercy..." The Void Immortal was hiding in the cesspit, kowtowing nonstop to Celia Xiao. Meanwhile, Damon, the Western Pacifying King, who was also in the cesspit, was totally dumbfounded!
And the ghosts watching? They were even more mind-blown!
They were all just completely shell-shocked, totally lost. Ryan hadn’t even made a move—he’d just used his presence to crush a Void Immortal. It was beyond anything they could imagine, straight-up insane!
"Mercy? You mess with my husband and now you want mercy? I want your life!" Celia Xiao snarled, reaching out with a giant hand and grabbing the Void Immortal by the throat.
The Void Immortal turned deathly pale—he knew his time was up. He started babbling, "Please, ma’am, I’m from the Lu family! For Lu Shao’s sake, let me go!"
"Lu Youding? He’s nothing. Die!" Celia Xiao didn’t spare him a shred of face—she squeezed, and the Void Immortal exploded, his blood and essence freezing in midair. Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—this was the greatest power-up in the world. Celia wouldn’t want it, but for him, it was the ultimate boost. He inhaled hard, sucking every last drop of the Void Immortal’s essence into his own body!
Right away, Ryan let out a huge burp!
He felt like his stomach was about to burst—even though he’d only taken in a tenth of it! The other nine-tenths went straight into the Primeval Heavenwood. Even so, Ryan’s belly was still protesting—this Void Immortal’s essence was way too hardcore, way above his current level!

After wiping out the Void Immortal, Celia Xiao’s gaze instantly locked onto Damon, the Western Pacifying King!
Damon’s face twisted in terror—and he instantly blew apart, like squashing a bug!
Ryan immediately sucked up all of Damon’s essence too!
A Void Immortal and a Ghost Immortal—Ryan felt like he’d just hit the jackpot!
"Ryan! Ryan! God of the Underworld!" With all the danger wiped out, Hell exploded into celebration. Lord Yama was cheering, and all the ghosts were jumping around—Ryan had just saved them from the biggest disaster ever.
But none of them realized—it all happened just because they pissed off Celia Xiao!
Celia Xiao was absolutely terrifying!
That night, all of Hell was in party mode. Lord Yama officially handed the throne to Ryan—he went from acting King of Hell to the real deal!
Ghost Elder got promoted to Prime Minister of the Underworld!
Zhong Kui stayed on as Grand Marshal, and all eighteen layers of Hell got new kings and emperors—Ryan’s own crew!
Guihai Yidao also took on a bunch of emperor jobs, and for the other layers, Ryan handed out positions to his brothers—guys like Yuan Zhengang. No way he was forgetting his bros!
Once all the promotions were done, Ryan was totally wiped out!
This battle had earned him a ton of achievements, but he was completely spent!
Right now, he felt like he was about to fall apart!
"Hubby, did I say you could rest? Get over here!" Back in his room, Ryan was hoping to chill for a bit, but suddenly Celia Xiao showed up again—her gorgeous looks were back, her hair was perfect, but she still looked seriously pissed.
"Wife, you’re still mad?" Ryan didn’t dare mess with her. After surviving Hell, he was more convinced than ever that clinging to his super-wife was the only way to go!
"What do you think?" Celia Xiao snorted, sitting down on a high chair like some kind of empress.
"How about I give you a shoulder rub, wife?" Ryan immediately tried to butter her up.
"Fine!" Celia Xiao nodded. "I deserve some pampering too!"
Ryan didn’t hesitate—he rushed over and started massaging!
But he got a shock the moment he started—his angle gave him a full view of Celia Xiao’s insanely huge chest. Those curves, that flawless skin, plus her immortal vibe... Ryan swallowed hard. He was definitely feeling it!
