Sean Young also saw Julia Yu's Moments post.
Sean Young felt incredibly complicated inside.
He never imagined that his relationship with Julia Yu would turn out like this.
Back then, he really did like Julia Yu.
But he was blinded by Lisa Li's lies and actually teamed up with her to scheme against Julia Yu.
Julia Yu probably saw through all of this. She didn't hold him accountable, but since then, they had no contact whatsoever.
Out of courtesy, Julia Yu still kept him on her friends list, but no matter how many times Sean Young apologized, she never replied to his messages.
Sean Young felt tormented deep down.
He didn't want things to be like this.
How did things end up like this?
It's all Lisa Li's fault!
If it weren't for Lisa Li stirring things up, he wouldn't be like this!
If not for Lisa Li, even if he and Julia Yu couldn't end up together, things wouldn't be like they are now!
Sean Young resented Lisa Li even more.
When Lisa Li saw Sean Young either not coming home or throwing tantrums when he did—smashing things, cursing—
Lisa Li sneered and said, "Why are you taking it out on me? You saw Julia Yu's Moments too, didn't you? What, can't stand seeing her living with another man? Feeling triggered? Tsk tsk, how pathetic! But have you looked at yourself in the mirror? Even if you hadn't gotten mixed up with me, do you really think Julia Yu would have chosen you? Do you know who she's living with? If I told you, you'd be scared to death! He's a legitimate heir to a major corporation, not some nouveau riche like you! Look at your face—if I told you he's about to inherit a hundred-billion-dollar enterprise, has everything—looks, talent, education, ability—would you be so insecure you'd want to die?"
Lisa Li's words hit Sean Young right where it hurt.
Sean Young grabbed the water glass on the table and hurled it hard at Lisa Li.
Crash!
The fine crystal glass shattered into pieces right in front of Lisa Li.
"Look at you, what can you do besides lose your temper at me?" Lisa Li sneered at Sean Young. "You don't want to see me? I don't want to see you either! If you don't want to see me, then get lost!"
"Why should I leave? This is my house!" Sean Young was shaking with anger. How did he end up entangled with such a vicious woman?
Now he couldn't even get a divorce!
"So what if it's your house?" Lisa Li was always infuriating and unreasonable. No matter how outrageous she was, Sean Young never dared to lay a hand on her.
Although Max Mo said he wouldn't get involved with Lisa Li anymore, if something really happened to her, he wouldn't just stand by.
So Sean Young only dared to smash things, not hit people.
This led to Sean Young smashing things at home every day, and Lisa Li using her sharp tongue to drive him crazy every day.
Lisa Li stepped over the glass shards and sneered, "Coward."
Sean Young was furious, but could only glare at Lisa Li's back before storming out of the house to vent with his mistress.
That's all he was good for.
After Sean Young left, Lisa Li dropped her smug look and smashed the cup in her hand hard.
She was furious too!
Why did she have to suffer in hell while Julia Yu got to find the perfect lover?
Why?
Shouldn't Julia Yu be suffering in hell along with her?
Is Stephen Song out of his mind? Is he blind?
What does he even see in Julia Yu?
Does he even know what Julia Yu used to do?
No way, she couldn't let Julia Yu stay this happy. She had to go find Stephen Song and tell him everything Julia Yu had ever done!
Lisa Li absolutely would not allow Julia Yu to be happier than her!
Lisa Li slammed the table hard, her face growing even more vicious.
The household servants were so frightened they hid in the servants' quarters, not daring to come out.
Only after Lisa Li finally left did the servants nervously come out to clean up the mess.
One of Lisa Li's servants couldn't help posting on her Moments: 'Oh my god! My employer has the worst temper—always smashing things or throwing stuff! Look at this mess, I just finished mopping! I can't take this anymore. Once this year's over, I'm quitting for sure! Take my advice, never work for a family with a bad temper.'
And so, the reputation of Lisa Li and Sean Young as a couple was completely ruined in the housekeeping world.
After Sean Young left home, he quickly drove to his mistress's place.
As soon as he walked in, his mistress gave him a warm hug, which eased Sean Young's anger.
"Honey, what brings you here?" His mistress was only twenty, about the same age as Lisa Li, but she was sweet and youthful, nothing like Lisa's gloom and malice.
Sean Young kissed her and said, "That crazy woman at home—I've had enough. I'm staying here with you for a few days."
"Sure," his mistress's eyes sparkled, feeling she'd already beaten the wife by a mile.
Lisa Li didn't behave herself after leaving home either.
She went to her usual club and immediately ordered three pure-looking young men to keep her company, plunging into chaos.
Now everyone in their social circle was laughing at their marriage.
The two clearly didn't love each other, but had to marry—and couldn't divorce.
So, each of them did their own thing.
But if Sean Young ever showed up with his mistress in front of Lisa Li, she'd definitely explode and they'd end up fighting.
So Sean Young never dared take his mistress out—he could only keep her hidden away.
This couple settled into a strange sort of harmony.
All this drama was sparked by a single photo Julia Yu posted, but she herself had no idea.
She and Stephen Song had finished preparing dinner and were ready to enjoy it together.
At that moment, there was a knock at the door—a ring of the doorbell from outside.
Stephen Song and Julia Yu were both surprised.

Everyone was there on vacation, so it was strange to have visitors in this place.
Stephen Song got up and checked the door video. He saw a girl in thick pink loungewear, curiously peeking inside.
Stephen Song and Julia Yu exchanged a glance and opened the door, only to see the girl looking at them expectantly. "I'm your downstairs neighbor. I just smelled delicious food and wanted to ask if I could join you for dinner? I don't eat much!"
After speaking, the girl pulled out an adorable bowl from behind her back.
Stephen Song and Julia Yu were both taken aback.
Anyone vacationing here was definitely not poor.
In other words, people living here were all privileged and wealthy, just like Julia Yu and Stephen Song.
But would someone like that really ask for a free meal?
No way!
Impossible!
Even if they couldn't cook, they'd bring their own chef from home!
The girl seemed to guess what they were thinking and looked embarrassed. "I just had a fight with my family and dragged my suitcase out here alone. But I can't cook. The roads here are confusing, and I couldn't find any place to eat. I tried to use the ingredients in the fridge, but I don't know how. I even tried making instant noodles, but I messed that up too."
Julia Yu was a lawyer, so she saw things differently from most people.
Most people would just invite her in for dinner.
But not Julia Yu. She calmly picked up the residency guide and handed it to the girl. "There's a phone number on here. If you want a meal, you can call the front desk—they'll have the kitchen prepare food and deliver it to you. Of course, the cost will be added to your bill and settled when you check out."
Stephen Song stood by, stifling his laughter and pretending to look at the sky so he wouldn't burst out laughing.
The girl was completely stunned!
She never expected that kind of answer!
Is this woman toxic or what?
Julia Yu saw she wasn't responding and nodded knowingly. "Didn't bring your phone? No problem, I'll call for you."
With that, Julia Yu pulled out her phone and called the front desk. "The lady in Room 21 wants to order dinner but doesn't know how. Could you prepare a safe, decent meal for her and deliver it? Yes, just charge it to her account. Thank you, that's all, bye!"
Julia Yu hung up briskly, then smiled at the girl. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
The girl glanced at Julia Yu, then at Stephen Song, stomped her foot in frustration, and turned to leave.
Julia Yu said to Stephen Song, "Alright, now we can eat in peace!"
Stephen Song followed Julia Yu back inside and asked, "You really just left her out there like that?"
"If you want to help, you can go down and cook her dinner yourself," Julia Yu replied without even looking up.
Stephen Song immediately felt the pressure in his soul and, with strong survival instincts, said, "Of course not! I'm not her dad!"
Julia Yu paused, chopsticks in hand.
That age gap really was...
Stephen Song was thirty-five this year, while the girl looked only eighteen or nineteen.
If this were ancient times, he'd actually be old enough to be her father.
Thinking of that, Julia Yu finally laughed.
"I'm just curious," Stephen Song asked, "you're usually so soft-hearted. Why are you so cold to her? I'm just asking, no other reason."
Julia Yu finished her bite before answering: "It's simple! Her loungewear is Binny custom—a niche brand but expensive. Her bowl is a limited edition Yuyu, worth a hundred thousand. Don't ask how I know; I ordered one this spring for Xixi's little girl, but she actually prefers the boy's style. So I'm familiar with both brands. Anyone who can afford these custom pieces wouldn't be clueless about how to order food."
Stephen Song grew even more curious. "So what was she after?"
