Alliance Leader’s Warning

2/27/2026

Demoncloud Demon Lord couldn't believe it. How could a dignified Demon Lord like him be fooled by a mere clone? He questioned, "Impossible. There's no such clone technique that even we can't tell apart."

"There is!" one of the Demon Lords said.

The other Demon Lords looked at him curiously, wanting to know what kind of clone technique he was talking about. That Demon Lord said, "Why did we want to break into the Demon-Fiend Underpalace in the first place?"

"For that reason," someone started to say, but the rest seemed to understand.

"Looks like the rumors are true! Back then, that person had a technique like this—a clone art even Demon Lords and Immortal Sovereigns couldn't tell apart. But that's strange... could Evan Yang have been to the Demon-Fiend Underpalace?" the Demon Lord who mentioned the clone art said suspiciously.

The other Demon Lords also looked doubtful, while Demoncloud Demon Lord's face was extremely ugly. He'd been tricked by Evan Yang again and again. Right now, he really wanted to go back and kill him, but he knew Evan Yang was definitely long gone—he wouldn't be stupid enough to wait there.

"Demoncloud, this Evan Yang is extremely cunning and terrifyingly talented. As far as I know, he destroyed the Devil-Fiend Well, ruined several Devil Realm envoys, as well as your treasure, and even did what he did to Lord Hellsky. This guy can't be allowed to live—he's the nemesis of our entire Devil Realm," one Demon Lord said.

Everyone knew this Demon Lord was one of the more respected among them—Demon Lord Nine-Heavens.

Everyone agreed with Demon Lord Nine-Heavens. Demoncloud Demon Lord said, "No matter what, we have to go to the Immortal Realm!"

"No way. You're a Demon Lord. If you go to the Immortal Realm, you'll definitely be detected. And once you're discovered, your power there will be suppressed, and all those years of cultivation will be ruined in an instant," Demon Lord Nine-Heavens objected.

"So what do we do? That won’t work, and neither will this—are we supposed to just wait until the Immortal Realm opens?" Demoncloud Demon Lord said anxiously.

"Not necessarily. We can refine a Blood Demon Shade," said Demon Lord Nine-Heavens.

The words 'Blood Demon Shade' shocked everyone present, and they immediately voiced their support.

Demoncloud hadn’t expected there was such a thing as the Blood Demon Shade. It was especially difficult to refine, requiring the blood of at least three Demon Lords fused together to create it. Moreover, each refinement produced only a single avatar, which could last at most several tens of thousands of years.

Mass production was impossible; only in times of urgent need would Demon Lords be willing to contribute their own blood.

Demoncloud, Nine-Heavens, and the other Demon Lords all voiced their agreement. With the decision made, they began refining the Blood Demon Shade.

Meanwhile, in the Demon Mausoleum Grounds, the Sky-Flooding Demon Sovereign still sat coldly in his own blood pool, unable to move or recover. He was furious—a dignified Demon Sovereign reduced to this state by a mere Immortal Lord.

"How is Evan Yang? And what are the other Demon Lords doing?" the Sky-Flooding Demon Sovereign asked someone nearby.

"Reporting, Demon Sovereign: Evan Yang has already been captured, but it’s said to be only a clone. The Demon Lords are furious and are now refining a Blood Demon Shade to deal with him," the person answered.

"A clone? Blood Demon Shade?" The Sky-Flooding Demon Sovereign was shocked twice in succession, feeling that both were rather strange things.

But at this moment, the Sky-Flooding Demon Sovereign only wanted to catch Evan Yang as soon as possible to vent his anger. Now, it seemed the Blood Demon Shade was their only option.

Evan Yang had no idea that the Demon Lords had already refined a forbidden construct to deal with him. At this moment, he had returned to the Immortal Realm Alliance.

Inside the Immortal Realm Alliance, the four patriarchs and the Alliance Leader were all present. When Evan Yang and Selena Water appeared, Patriarch Yang and Patriarch Water were naturally pleased, but the other two patriarchs were not. They had already heard from the Alliance Leader that their three juniors had disgraced themselves by collaborating with Demon Lords to attack the base.

The Alliance Leader smiled at Evan Yang and said, "Very good. Clara Snow has already reported to me."

"Now that my mission is complete, I suppose there's nothing left for me to do?" Evan Yang asked.

"That's right. However, the two of us still have some private matters to settle. As for everyone else, you may leave if you have nothing further to discuss," said the Alliance Leader.

Patriarch Yang had originally wanted to speak with Evan Yang, but hearing the Alliance Leader's words, he could only leave. The other two patriarchs had barely stepped out when the Alliance Leader's aura suddenly grew chaotic and murderous. He declared, "If there is any news about those three, it must be reported immediately. If you know but fail to report, then you’ll have to deal with the consequences."

Afterward, the Alliance Leader withdrew his aura. Everyone present was stunned—the moment had been terrifying. If the Alliance Leader had willed it, few would have survived. Patriarch Lynn and Patriarch Fenn were furious but could only swallow their anger and leave. Patriarch Yang and Patriarch Water also departed, while Evan Yang followed the Alliance Leader deeper inside.

On the way back, Patriarch Water asked Selena Water, "What exactly happened? Why did those three betray the mission?"

"What else could it be? They wanted to kill Evan Yang so badly that they tried to use the Demon Lords’ hands," Selena Water replied simply.

"That's true. Evan Yang completed the mission outstandingly—none of us patriarchs expected it to be finished so quickly," Patriarch Water said.

Selena Water didn’t say anything more, instead recalling everything that had happened before.

At this moment, Patriarch Fenn was with Patriarch Lynn, both looking grim. "Outrageous, absolutely outrageous!" Patriarch Fenn said.

"Exactly, this is too absurd. Those three shouldn't have gone so far. I really want to know what actually happened," Patriarch Lynn said with a frown.

"So what now? The gate to the Devil Realm is closed—even if they want to come back, it will be extremely difficult," Patriarch Fenn said.

"We have to think of a way. Come on," Patriarch Lynn said, pulling Patriarch Fenn aside for a private discussion.

As for Patriarch Yang, after returning, he summoned Terry Yang’s parents, along with the Wine Beggar and Lydia Yang.

When Patriarch Yang told everyone about what happened with Evan Yang and Terry Yang, Terry’s mother was instantly horrified. "Impossible, impossible! My son would never do such a thing! It must be Evan Yang slandering him!" she cried.

"This isn’t Evan Yang’s accusation—it’s what the Alliance Leader said," Patriarch Yang replied.

Hearing that it was the Alliance Leader, Terry Yang’s parents’ faces changed drastically.

"What about Evan Yang? Is he safe?" the Wine Beggar asked worriedly.

"Yes, he's safe. As for Terry Yang, he's probably still in the Devil Realm—his fate is unknown. But I must warn you: if anyone gets news about Terry Yang, it must be reported immediately. If the Immortal Realm Alliance finds out we concealed his whereabouts, not only will he be in danger, but our entire Yang Clan will be too," Patriarch Yang said.

"Isn't Evan Yang still here?" Terry Yang's mother said miserably, retorting.

Patriarch Yang frowned at Terry Yang's mother, his aura so intense it startled everyone. Terry Yang's father quickly said, "Father, she's just very upset right now. I'll go talk to her." With that, he hurriedly led Terry Yang's mother away.

As she struggled, Terry Yang's mother cried, "Let me go! I want to ask Evan Yang what really happened!"

"Stop making a scene—we'll talk when we get home," Terry Yang's father said, also deeply upset but knowing now wasn't the time for outbursts. He hurriedly led her away.

Watching them leave, the Wine Beggar asked, "Father, what about them?"

"Let them go. And remember, all of you must pay close attention to any news about Terry Yang's return," Patriarch Yang said, before leaving. Lydia Yang then asked curiously, "Third Brother, do you think Father would hand Terry Yang over?"

"Let's see if Terry Yang can even make it back. He's stuck in the Devil Realm and can't return," the Wine Beggar said.

Lydia Yang thought that made sense and nodded. On the other side, Terry Yang's mother asked, "What do we do now? What if Tian'er dies over there? I wish I'd never let him go!"

"Calm down. Since the Alliance Leader said it, how could it be false? Now we have to find a way to bring Terry Yang back—or, as long as he stays safe in the Devil Realm and never returns, that's fine too," Terry Yang's father said. He knew his own father's temperament: if Terry Yang did return, he would surely be handed over to the Alliance Leader and punished.

"The Devil Realm? We can't go there, and it's so dangerous—will he really be safe?" Terry Yang's mother worried. "Don't forget, there are others stranded there too. Go ask your father for advice," Terry Yang's father said.

Terry Yang's mother nodded. "Okay, I'll go ask my father and see if there's any way." With that, she left.

Terry Yang's father paced back and forth, frustrated and searching for a solution. Meanwhile, Evan Yang was with the Alliance Leader. "Alliance Leader, how do you plan to deal with them?" Evan Yang asked.

"They'd better not come back. If they somehow return to the Immortal Realm, they'll have to be punished—otherwise, how could I answer for those who died at the base?" the Alliance Leader said.

"Besides the Demoncloud Zone, are there any other ways to return?" Evan Yang asked.

"I don't know. The Devil Realm and our Immortal Realm are adjacent, so sometimes spatial cracks might appear," the Alliance Leader replied.

Evan Yang found this reasonable, then asked irritably, "What about the pill?"

"You've completed the mission, so the pill is yours," the Alliance Leader said with a smile, taking out a box. Inside was a pill identical to the previous one.

Seeing the pill, Evan Yang was overwhelmed with excitement. With this, he could finally awaken his father.

Noticing Evan Yang's expression, the Alliance Leader put away his smile and asked, "Are you really determined to awaken your father?"

"Of course," Evan Yang replied.

"If that's the case, I won't say more. Just one word of advice: if your father awakens, don't act impulsively, or the entire Immortal Realm could be in danger," the Alliance Leader warned.

Evan Yang didn't really understand what the Alliance Leader meant, but he wasn't in the mood to puzzle it out. All he wanted now was to awaken his father—even if the world burned, it wouldn't matter to him.

Evan Yang smiled and said, "No matter what, I will awaken my father. Whatever happens afterward can be dealt with then."

"Are you planning to leave now?" the Alliance Leader asked, seeing Evan Yang had no intention of staying at the Alliance headquarters.

"Yes, the mission is complete and there's nothing left for me here. I probably won't be back. No matter what, I still want to thank you, Alliance Leader," Evan Yang said.
