Boom!
Tiger Fang crashed onto the ring, smashing a crater into the floor beneath him.
First Blade was still holding the pose from his fourth punch, breathing slightly heavy, but his eyes as he looked at Tiger Fang remained completely calm.
"How could you possibly beat me!"
Tiger Fang's eyes bulged with rage. He tried to push himself up with his right hand, but after a moment of effort, realized he couldn't muster any strength in it at all.
He glanced down at his clawed right hand, only to see it limp and powerless.
At that moment, Tiger Fang finally felt a heart-wrenching, bone-deep pain radiating from his right hand.
"You lost."
First Blade shook his head slightly and let out a heavy breath.
Back then, First Blade never imagined he could defeat Tiger Fang. But now, he'd done it!
"Did First Blade from Knife-Edge Company really win...?" someone in the stands whispered.
"He must've won, right? How did he get so strong? He was never like this before."
Watching First Blade on the ring, plenty of people still couldn't process what had just happened.
His strength was way beyond what anyone expected—especially since his opponent was Tiger Fang, and he actually broke Tiger Fang's arm right there!
"Did he really win?" Lena Xu stared for a long moment, then looked at the others beside her. But Ethan Xu and the rest all wore mixed expressions of shock and doubt—the situation had gone way beyond what any of them expected.
Grant Yuan frowned, his eyes locked on First Blade across the ring, lost in thought.
"I told you, you're not my match. Forget about challenging Coach—you're not capable, and you don't have the right. Step down."
First Blade saw that Tiger Fang was still half on the ring, with no intention of leaving, and immediately frowned.
"Not your match? I haven't lost yet! I'm Tiger Fang from the Tiger Special Forces—how could I possibly be beaten by some so-called Knife-Edge Company punk like you!"
Tiger Fang's face twisted with fury. He let out a roar, and in a flash—half-kneeling—he slammed his right foot down and shot toward First Blade like a cannonball.
His eyes were bloodshot, breath ragged—he couldn't stand the blow to his pride from losing to some ordinary Knife-Edge Company guy. That wild, unstoppable momentum he unleashed was downright terrifying.
Tiger Fang's left hand curled into a claw, hard as steel cable, and he shot forward—reaching First Blade in a blink.
"Lie down!"
Tiger Fang roared, sweeping his left claw straight for First Blade's throat!
"Tiger Throat Lock!"
Seeing Tiger Fang go for that move, Grant Yuan's heart skipped a beat.
If that hit landed, no matter how strong First Blade seemed, he'd be down for sure within seconds.
At best he'd pass out; at worst, his windpipe would burst—instant death!
But First Blade didn't panic at all. Instead, he stepped back half a pace, opening up some distance, then unleashed the Nine-Star Burst Fist again—meeting Tiger Fang's attack head-on.
This time, First Blade didn't hold back at all. His punch slammed into Tiger Fang's left hand, sending him flying. At the same moment, anger flashed in First Blade's eyes—he stepped in, followed up with a second move, switching from fist to palm, chopping straight for Tiger Fang's neck with a crisp hand-blade!
That hand-blade strike packed immense power. Tiger Fang had no chance to dodge—his eyes went wide, and the next instant, the blow landed with a heavy crunch, forcing his right shoulder to cave in.
Then First Blade kicked him right off the ring.
First Blade—total victory!
"First Blade won!" Deputy Commander Su swallowed hard, eyes lighting up with joy, and couldn't help shouting aloud.
Beside him, Chen Yonghan looked absolutely livid. The moment Tiger Fang was chopped down by First Blade's hand-blade, he couldn't help leaping to his feet. Now, seeing Tiger Fang kicked clear off the ring, he was shaking with fury.
"Lost?"
Ethan Xu murmured to himself, glancing at Grant Yuan beside him—only to see Grant already stepping forward.
Grant Yuan didn't waste a word. He strode out from behind Ethan Xu and, without hesitation, leapt down from the window.
While the whole crowd was still reeling from Tiger Fang's defeat, everyone watched as a figure dropped onto the ring like a cannonball.
That figure radiated overwhelming pressure, like a battle god forged through endless fire and blood.
Major General Gavin Yue jumped in surprise at Grant Yuan's sudden move. He glanced at Ethan Xu, only for Ethan Xu to shake his head: "That's just his nature. Let him be—don't worry, he won't go overboard."
With Ethan Xu saying that, Gavin Yue had nothing more to add.
On the other side, Lena Xu's eyes sparkled with joy at the sight of Grant Yuan on the ring.
Grant Yuan moved quickly, reaching Tiger Fang, who lay at the edge of the ring.
He reached out and felt Tiger Fang's hands, his face turning serious. Then he pressed down hard—everyone heard a crisp series of cracks, and Tiger Fang's limp arms regained some strength.
Next, Grant Yuan checked Tiger Fang's right shoulder, gently running his palm across it. His expression changed, and he quickly slapped the shoulder several times—finally, the caved-in area started to recover.
"You're... the instructor!"
Pain wracked Tiger Fang, nearly knocking him out. But now, as he opened his eyes, he finally saw Grant Yuan before him.
After a moment of dazed surprise, his vision blurred and he cried out, voice trembling with emotion.
Grant Yuan's status in the Tiger Special Forces was extraordinary. Though he hadn't served as instructor for years, his legend still circulated among the Tigers.
"Get some rest!"
Grant Yuan had been unhappy with Tiger Fang for breaking the rules, planning to teach him a serious lesson.
But before he could act, someone else had already taught Tiger Fang a harsh lesson!
Grant Yuan could barely stand it—even if he was no longer the Tiger Special Forces instructor, anyone who came out of Tiger Special Forces was still his man!
His own men—he could discipline them himself!
But it wasn't anyone else's place to beat them up!
That was Grant Yuan's way of doing things!
With Grant Yuan's arrival and his rapid bone-setting skills, everyone immediately took notice.
At that moment, Grant Yuan gently moved the teary, aggrieved Tiger Fang aside, then turned to look at Frank Xu—First Blade—still standing on the ring, unharmed.
"It's just a single-soldier showdown—did you really have to go that far? If not for me, that hand-blade of yours would've ruined him for life!"
