The sound of sirens echoed all around. I quietly watched Sylvia Yan not far from me, while Wendy Hsieh and Troy Duan had already moved to Lucas Lu's side.
It struck me as odd—Lucas Lu should have still been at Snowridge Springs, so why did he suddenly rush over? I didn’t see my parents anywhere. Many Underworld Denizens had arrived, and Walter Wu came to stand beside me.
"Are you alright, Rachel Lan?"
I nodded, noticing several members of the Lanworths' branch families glaring at Walter Wu in disapproval. They all called me Circle Master Roxie. Walter and I have been like this for a long time—he’s helped me a lot in the past, and we’re friends. These things never bothered me. As some Underworld Denizens started voicing their displeasure, I rose to my feet.
"Enough."
Walter Wu gave a helpless smile. Tan Tian stood right in front of me—if it weren’t for him, I’d already have been taken away by Sylvia Yan. They seemed to understand the situation perfectly, including what happened at Snowridge Springs. What puzzled me was how they learned about the Blood Jade incident at Snowridge Springs so quickly.
"I’m the one who told them."
Tan Tian spoke in a chilling voice, and my eyes widened in shock.
"If I hadn’t done so, there’d be no way to track their movements in the Living World."
Sylvia Yan said nothing, just smiled coldly.
