Not far ahead.
When Evan Lin and his group walked over, the area was already packed with people.
With Coldspire Peak completely shattered, the mountain that once towered over a hundred meters now looked barely ten meters tall.
All around, the ground was scorched, the grass and trees completely withered and blackened—utterly lifeless.
At the very top of the shattered mountain, someone was sitting cross-legged.
An old man with white hair and beard, dressed in white Daoist robes, sat atop a pile of rubble, his back to everyone present.
From behind, he really did have a certain indescribable aura about him.
"Is that the immortal?"
Grandmaster You glanced over, raising his brows with a look that clearly didn’t take the man seriously.
No matter how you looked at that so-called immortal over there, he just gave off a vibe that made people want to keep their distance.
If Grandmaster You hadn’t personally witnessed Evan Lin’s power yesterday—and if he weren’t so familiar with Coldspire Peak that he knew for a fact there was never any real immortal here—he might have actually been fooled by that guy at first glance.
"Yeah, that’s the immortal who turned all of Hong Kong upside down last night—the so-called True-Immortal Layman."
Sam Liu nodded eagerly, looking completely starstruck.
"Sam, I told you to come early—why are you just getting here now?"
Just as they were talking, three men and two women approached from not far away.
The speaker was a middle-aged man with dark skin and a calm, steady expression. His aura was incredibly strong.
With just a glance, Evan Lin could tell that this man had already stepped into the Pointing-to-Mystery Realm.
"Met a few new friends on the way—got held up for a bit."
When Sam Liu saw the man, he immediately adopted a respectful attitude.
"Friends?"
Hearing Sam Liu’s words, the middle-aged man and his companions finally took a closer look at Evan Lin’s group.
His gaze landed on Evan Lin first, then quickly moved on, clearly not intending to linger.
To them, that young man just looked so completely ordinary—not even worth a second glance.
Aside from that, the man’s gaze lingered a bit longer on Yvette Locke and Queenie Tong.
After all, both were exceptionally attractive young women.
Maybe they couldn’t compare to Lily Zhao, but around here, they definitely stood out.
Besides that, the middle-aged man looked at Grandmaster You with a hint of surprise and suspicion.
He couldn’t quite figure out this guy in white, whose whole presence felt oddly oppressive.
"That’s him—the one who just took out ten Vajra Realm fighters in a matter of seconds."
Sam Liu didn’t bother introducing Evan Lin—he really didn’t know how. Since he had no idea about Evan’s background, he just went ahead and introduced Grandmaster You instead.
"He really is impressive."
The middle-aged man nodded, looking at Grandmaster You with increased caution, and ignored Evan Lin even more.
"Aren't you going to introduce these two ladies?"
A younger man looked at Yvette Locke and Queenie Tong, flashing a self-satisfied smile.
He didn't even glance at Evan Lin, treating him as a mere extra. Instead, he turned to Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke and said, "I'm Jason Liu, Sam's elder brother."
"May I ask your names?"
His gaze practically sparkled as he looked at Yvette Locke and Queenie Tong.
These two girls were exactly his type.
But when he asked, Yvette Locke and Queenie Tong both looked at Evan Lin, clearly not intending to respond to him.
Jason Liu immediately raised his brows, then turned to Sam Liu and deliberately spoke loudly: "Sam, our Liu Clan is an Ancient Martial Family. With an immortal accepting disciples here, we absolutely must join him, no matter what."
