Trouble at the Purple Cloud Winery

"Illusory Quad-Change? Are you sure you want to learn it?" Evan Yang hadn't expected Elena Yale to want to learn Illusory Quad-Change just so she could go outside.

Elena Yale nodded. "Of course. We're just sitting around here anyway. You teach us first—once we master it, we can go out."

"Alright, I'll teach you." Evan Yang thought for a moment and agreed—it made sense, since Phantom Elder never said he couldn't teach others. So Evan spent a few days instructing everyone here, then let them practice slowly until they fully mastered it and reported back to him.

As for Evan Yang, he had already left the tower and returned to the city where the original Purple Cloud Winery had opened. He found a larger site, used the crystal ore he'd earned to hire some waiters, and built a new winehouse there—even bigger than before. The name remained Purple Cloud Winery.

When everyone heard the news that Evan Yang was opening a new winery, they were overjoyed and kept asking about the opening date. Evan spread the word, giving out the date to each of them.

On the day before opening, the Fiend Palace woman visited Evan's winery.

"You came?" Evan Yang said with a smile.

"I didn't expect your winery to cause such a stir even before opening." The woman had heard about Purple Cloud Winery all the way here, quietly wondering what kind of place it was. When she arrived and saw Evan Yang, she almost thought her eyes were playing tricks on her.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Evan Yang smiled.

"True enough. At least my thirty percent share is looking pretty sweet." The woman laughed.

"I won't forget you, don't worry." Evan Yang smiled.

The woman was about to nag him when she caught a whiff of something fragrant. "What's that smell?"

"This is a winehouse, of course there's wine." Evan Yang laughed as he saw the woman drawn in by the aroma.

"Where is it? Let me try some." The woman asked eagerly. Seeing her so curious, Evan Yang took her to the cellar, where she was drawn to many wines—every cup she tasted, she praised endlessly.

"Kid, where did you get all these wines? How are they so delicious?" The woman couldn't believe Evan Yang's wines could be so enticing—the flavor surpassed anything she'd ever drunk.

"I brewed them myself," Evan Yang replied.

"You know how to brew wine?" The woman asked in surprise.

"Yeah, jealous much?" Evan Yang smiled.

"Don't get cocky. Still, it's a good thing—having wine like yours means we'll rake in plenty of crystal ore every day." The woman clicked her tongue.

"That's right." Evan Yang smiled, secretly amused—having such a powerful backer here meant that even if the Liu Family showed up, they'd have to watch her mood first.

After that, the woman clung to Evan Yang, asking him to explain all the wines. Evan patiently described each one. When she heard the price tags—some cups going for over a million top-grade crystal ore—she was stunned, thinking they'd be impossible to sell.

But the next day, as soon as the winery opened, they sold tens of millions in top-grade crystal ore. The woman couldn't help but admire the wine—and was quietly glad she'd joined, since there would be plenty of crystal ore coming in every day.

Meanwhile, at the Liu Family Winery, a man led a group inside. The manager saw him and hurried over. "Young Master Liu, you've arrived."

"What's going on here?" He was shocked to see not a single customer in the whole winehouse.

"A new winehouse has opened," the manager replied.

"Winehouse? What winehouse?" He couldn't understand—other winehouses opening shouldn't make his place suddenly empty.

"Purple Cloud Winehouse," said the manager.

"Purple Cloud? Why does that sound so familiar?" the man muttered.

"Young Master Liu, have you forgotten? This place used to be Purple Cloud Winehouse." The manager said awkwardly.

The manager's reminder made the man realize, his face lighting up in surprise and delight. "You mean the owner of Purple Cloud Winery is back?"

"Yeah, he came by a while ago, and now today the Purple Cloud Winehouse has appeared," the manager replied.

"Great, finally caught him—I'll make him submit to our Liu Family!" Logan Liu laughed. This man is none other than Logan Liu, who seized Evan Yang's winehouse.

Back then, after seizing Evan Yang's winehouse, Logan Liu made a fortune in crystal ore. But when the wine ran out, he had to use other wine, and business declined. Today he came to check things out, only to find the Purple Cloud Winehouse owner had returned. Overjoyed, he gathered his people and headed for Purple Cloud Winehouse.

At this moment, the Purple Cloud Winehouse was packed—everyone was at their tables, sipping fine wine, and the waiters could barely keep up.

Evan Yang and the woman saw the bustling scene and both smiled.

Evan Yang didn't reopen Purple Cloud Winehouse for crystal ore, but to teach the Liu Family a lesson. However, the Liu Family has powerful backing—if he confronted them directly, it would bring trouble. So he used this strategy: with the woman as a backer, even if the Liu Family caused trouble, seeing her involved would make them hesitate.

As for the woman, she was all smiles—the more people, the more crystal ore. She didn't lack for money, but earning it herself was a first, and it was exciting.

Just then, a crowd arrived outside, including several Fiend Palace generals.

Evan Yang and the woman didn't know who these people were or why they'd come, until someone from the Nangong family ran over and said, "Shopkeeper Evan, that's Logan Liu."

Hearing this, Evan Yang sized up the leader and understood. Logan Liu entered and immediately claimed a table, his followers standing guard.
