Protector Liu naturally knew that Evan Yang had gone there, and originally thought Evan would die inside. But when Evan survived and came out, Liu couldn't admit he knew, so he put on a surprised expression and said, "What? He went there? Isn't that just asking for death?"
"I thought so too, but I heard he disappeared for several years, and then suddenly came back," said Protector Tian.
"What on earth happened? Do you all know?" Protector Liu asked in surprise.
"Well, I don't know. Sometimes I really want to invite Evan Yang over and ask him properly, but I heard he disappeared again, no one knows where he went. Maybe he's hiding from something," Protector Tian laughed.
Protector Liu was secretly shocked. He knew Evan Yang had been forced there by his own Four Great Guards. If Evan was hiding now, it must be out of fear of Liu's revenge. Protector Tian's words were meant to make Liu believe Evan was avoiding him and not nearby.
Meanwhile, Protector Liu, wanting to learn more about Evan Yang, started chatting with the five Protectors.
As for Evan Yang, he was safely cultivating there at that moment. Protector Liu never imagined Evan would enter that place, let alone cultivate that divine art, and still thought Evan was hiding from him.
After the drinking session ended, Protector Liu returned to his own quarters. Still uneasy, he called Green Guard over and told him to keep an eye out for any news about Evan Yang.
Green Guard nodded and left. Meanwhile, the Holy Saintess and the Five Great Protectors were anxious—if things dragged on, it would only get worse for them and make it easier for Protector Liu to notice something was off.
Fortunately, Protector Liu never considered that Evan Yang would go into the Temple of Light, nor did he ever plan to search for Evan there. So things stayed quiet for several years.
Until one day, the Temple of Light suddenly erupted like a divine palace, rays of light shooting everywhere, brilliantly enveloping the entire temple.
The event immediately caused a sensation everywhere. News spread fast, and when the Holy Saintess and the Five Great Protectors arrived, they were stunned—the light was purple.
Now, only Evan Yang possessed purple light. Was he courting death? But that didn't make sense—how could there be such powerful light, enough to envelop the temple all at once?
"Could it be...?" Protector Tian pondered for a moment, then exclaimed.
"Protector Tian, stop guessing. It's almost certainly that." Protector Ming said.
"Whatever the case, let's go over and check. We need to prevent any unexpected changes," said the Holy Saintess.
Hearing this, everyone immediately rushed to the Divine Art Hall. The doors had already opened on their own, and purple light was streaming out from inside.
The scene drew many onlookers. Curious, everyone peered inside and saw a person floating in mid-air, eyes tightly closed, as if ignoring everyone around.
The Five Great Guards and the Holy Saintess immediately closed the hall. Though they didn't know what was happening, it was clearly connected to Evan Yang.
At this moment, they were anxious—Evan Yang had caused such a stir that nearly everyone knew there was someone inside the Divine Art Hall emitting purple light.
Although no one could see clearly who it was, everyone knew purple light was a legendary myth. Now that it actually appeared, the news spread even further.
Protector Liu, who was cultivating, also received the news. When he heard there was someone inside the Divine Art Hall, he exclaimed in shock, "Not good, the Light-Memory Divine Art!"
Protector Liu knew that for someone with purple light, cultivating the Light-Memory Divine Art would be far too easy. Realizing this, he was startled and rushed toward the Temple of Light.
At that moment, all kinds of people were gathering at the Temple of Light. Many had begun questioning the Protectors and the Holy Saintess about what was going on.
The Holy Saintess and the Protectors explained one by one that there was a talented cultivator inside, and planned to hold out until Protector Liu arrived.
"Holy Saintess, what's going on?" Protector Liu asked.
The Holy Saintess smiled, "It's nothing, just someone cultivating inside."
"Cultivating? Who is cultivating in the Divine Art Hall? How come I don't know about it?" Protector Liu asked suspiciously.
"I arranged for him to go in," said the Holy Saintess.
"What? Then why didn't the Holy Saintess tell me?" Protector Liu seemed a bit annoyed.
The Holy Saintess replied, "I saw you were cultivating, so I didn't want to disturb you. Is there a problem?"
Protector Liu knew the Holy Saintess had the authority, and he had no right to object. He was furious inside, but with so many people around, he couldn't fall out with her. So he said, "It's nothing, I'm just curious what kind of person caught your eye and could enter here to cultivate."
"It's nothing special, just someone cultivating purple light," the Holy Saintess said calmly. Since everyone had seen the purple light, she had no reason to hide it. Her goal now was simply to stop anyone from entering.
"Purple light? It's my first time seeing it. Who is this person, so powerful? May I go in?" Protector Liu asked.
"I'm afraid that's not possible. He's cultivating right now, and entering would disturb him," said the Holy Saintess.
"What kind of answer is that, Holy Saintess? Are you saying I would disturb him?" Protector Liu said unhappily.
"Protector Liu, you're a guard, that's not what I meant. He's cultivating, so it's best not to be disturbed," said the Holy Saintess.
Protector Liu protested, "But the commotion was huge just now, and everyone below is restless. Shouldn't we tell them someone is cultivating? At least let us Protectors take a look, so we can explain to everyone."
"Don't worry about it. Protector Tian and the others already know and have seen it. They'll explain to the rest," said the Holy Saintess.
Protector Liu looked at the other Protectors, who nodded. Seeing them, Liu seemed to recall something, his eyes burning with anger, but he suppressed it and said, "You all really know how to keep secrets."
"Protector Liu, what do you mean by that?" Protector Tian asked.
"It's nothing. Since you all know, I have nothing else to say. I'll just wait here for that person to come out and see who they really are, with such ability," Protector Liu said with a smile.

Protector Tian and the others glanced at each other, staying alert to Protector Liu while explaining things to the crowd below.
So, the Holy Saintess and the Protectors stood outside the Divine Art Hall. Everyone thought something big was happening, needing so many Protectors and the Holy Saintess to maintain order. In reality, they were afraid Protector Liu would barge in, so they stayed put, while Liu was just waiting for a chance to strike at his opponents.
Thus, both sides were locked in a stalemate, causing rumors to spread that the Holy Saintess and the Protectors were guarding a mysterious powerhouse.
One rumor became ten, ten became a hundred, and soon more and more people knew. Crowds gathered outside the Temple of Light wanting to see for themselves, but the Holy Saintess and the others never moved, always standing there.
Finally, the Divine Art Hall's doors opened again on their own, and the purple light inside faded away. Protector Liu immediately rushed inside, followed by the Holy Saintess and the others.
But the hall was completely empty, leaving everyone confused. Just then, an image gradually appeared on the Glass Pillar—it was Evan Yang. "Were you all looking for me?" Evan smiled.
"Are you all right?" the Holy Saintess asked, moved.
Protector Liu wasted no time, aiming his finger at Evan Yang and unleashing power. Others couldn't see anything, but Evan felt it—purple light instantly wrapped around him, absorbing all the force sent his way. Protector Liu was shocked; he hadn't expected Evan to really succeed in cultivation.
This made Evan Yang curious about this unfamiliar Protector. From his actions, Evan deduced that Protector Liu had just tried to alter his memories. Just from this, Evan could tell he must be Protector Liu.
So Evan Yang smiled at everyone, "I'm fine." Then he turned to Protector Liu and smiled, "You're Protector Liu, aren't you?"
"Heh, that's right," Protector Liu replied with a smile.
The Holy Saintess and the others were curious—how did Evan Yang recognize Protector Liu without anyone introducing him?
Evan Yang knew the Holy Saintess and the others had questions, but he had no time to explain. Instead, he smiled at Protector Liu, "We'll meet again."
Then, after exchanging glances with the Holy Saintess and the others, Evan left.
The Holy Saintess and the others escorted Evan Yang away, while Protector Liu had no chance to act. Even when he tried to alter Evan's memories, he found it impossible—Evan detected it every time.
And so, Evan Yang and the Holy Saintess left everyone's sight. Protector Liu grew anxious—if things went on like this, the Holy Saintess would surely recover her memories. He had to act, so he secretly contacted many allies, all close to him.
Once those people received the news, they immediately started moving into action.
After bringing Evan Yang and the five Protectors to her garden, the Holy Saintess asked, "How are you feeling?"
"I feel great," Evan Yang replied with a smile. He was even happier inside—he not only mastered the divine art, but his cultivation advanced a bit. He was now at Immortal Lord Stage Eight, and with a bit more progress, he'd soon face the challenge of advancing to Emperor Lord.
"By the way, what's with the purple light? It covered the whole Temple of Light," the Holy Saintess asked. Hearing Evan had finished cultivating, she was naturally happy, but also curious about what happened and why.
Evan Yang smiled, "It was the Glass Pillar. I had just finished cultivating when suddenly something strange happened with it—a powerful force entered my body and triggered my purple light, which caused everything that followed. I had to slowly absorb the light, and only just woke up."
"Is that so?" The Holy Saintess looked skeptical, and Protector Tian and the others were also amazed—Evan's experience was incredible. They'd never heard of cultivating this technique causing such a phenomenon. If Protector Liu had succeeded, there should've been a sign like this, but there wasn't.
So the Holy Saintess and the others were all curious about Evan Yang's experience.
"I don't know what happened either, but Protector Liu tried to attack me just now, and my light flashed—you all saw it, right?" Evan Yang said.
"I thought you were doing something, but didn't expect that guy to be so eager to strike. Luckily you cultivated that technique," the Holy Saintess said angrily, but also with relief.
