Super Army Part Three

The further they went, the harder it became. The consumption of Immortal Spirit Force along the way was enormous, leaving many completely exhausted. Still, no one had died yet—though injuries were inevitable.

Evan Frost remained indifferent to these people. Only a team that has truly faced life and death can become a powerful force. This was to be his mighty army to crush the immortal beast horde—he would show no mercy. Even if he saw someone die with his own eyes, he would stay unmoved.

The trials ahead grew even more brutal. Sudden bursts of freezing Glasswind swept through the snowfields, and the ice-attribute immortal beasts grew stronger and stronger—some had even reached the Immortal Lord Realm.

Anytime, the air would erupt with the roar of martial techniques and spatial shockwaves. The days grew longer and longer, and by now, everyone was covered in wounds and scars.

During this time, the Teleportation Gates were already built. Evan threw up a simple Chaos Immortal Force barrier—since the ice and snow here were weak, they posed no threat to the barrier. He even personally tested flying back to Frostbane Imperial Palace from here.

When Evan and his group arrived, Frostbane Imperial Palace had also set up a Teleportation Gate, so the two places could travel back and forth. After returning to Frostbane Imperial Palace and confirming all was normal, Evan didn’t linger—he went straight back to the training force.

By now, the five squads had developed a solid sense of teamwork. Each ten-person unit had truly faced life and death together. Most of the time, they could coordinate to slay powerful immortal beasts and handle sudden bursts of Coldflame and Glasswind.

Another ten days passed with still no casualties, which left Evan quite satisfied. But the days kept growing longer—now, they could only reach the endpoint by dusk.

"Can you all feel the terrifying pressure now? A thousand li ahead lies the real deal—true Immortal Emperor-tier beasts. That’s your final destination. The ice-attribute immortal beasts gather in packs, and if you run into Mystic Ice Giants, consider yourselves unlucky.

Mystic Ice Giants aren’t that strong—just Immortal Lord level—but their defense is absurd. And they never show up alone; it’s always dozens at once. Whoever can hold out to the end will be the true victor. Give it everything you’ve got!" Evan shouted to the group.

Those words were a heavy psychological blow to everyone—but that was exactly what Evan wanted. Only under intense mental pressure would they stay alert and survive sudden dangers.

The squads pressed on. Ice Wolf, Mystic Ice Giant, and Ice Skyhawk were the most common and troublesome ice-attribute immortal beasts in this region. Especially the Ice Skyhawk—it was the hardest to deal with, incredibly fast and fiercely powerful, and often spat Coldflame from its mouth.

If that Coldflame hit you, you’d be instantly frozen into Mystic Ice. Mystic Ice was so tough that breaking free was nearly impossible—you had to rely on your teammates to shatter it. Without help, you could only wait for death.

Every day, the air was filled with the sounds of killing. Who knew how many ice-attribute immortal beasts they’d face or how many they’d slay? The killing intent on everyone soared—just standing still, you could feel the thick, bloody aura radiating from them.

This was exactly the effect Evan wanted. Only those who survive slaughter and death can truly decide the outcome on the battlefield. The squads’ coordination and teamwork had clearly improved a lot.

Usually, when the fight started, the fastest would draw the immortal beasts’ attention, while the others looked for chances to strike or rescue teammates in danger. Even with only ten people per squad, they all miraculously survived—Evan was genuinely surprised.

Now they’d reached a place only Immortal Lords could endure. The cold here was so extreme that if you stopped moving, you’d be frozen into Mystic Ice within a few breaths. This was a huge disadvantage—especially since recovering Immortal Spirit Force was hardest here.

Once they reached the endpoint, five would focus on recovering Immortal Spirit Force while the other five broke the Mystic Ice encasing them. When the first group recovered, they’d help the others in turn—a pattern of perfect cooperation.

Evan knew that if they went any deeper, casualties would be inevitable. Only real loss could make them understand the importance of team spirit. If you don’t weather the storm, you’ll never see the rainbow—if you don’t face death, you won’t know the value of life.

"Now comes your true test. To be honest, I’m shocked no one’s died yet. If you all make it out of here alive, that’ll be a miracle—but I know that miracle won’t happen.

From now on, the challenges will be even tougher. I’m not heartless—you fifty will merge into one unit and face the hardest trial together. Treat these immortal beasts and obstacles as if it’s the Immortal-Beast War. Survival of the fittest—you all know the rules.

If you truly want to survive, you’ll need perfect teamwork and absolute trust in each other. This time, I won’t set a time limit—just reach the end a thousand li away, that’s your final destination.

But along the way, I’ll draw in plenty of powerful immortal beasts—even some at Immortal Emperor level. There are a few of you with Immortal Emperor-tier strength; whether you can slay those beasts depends on your coordination. Give it your all!" Evan declared, then vanished from sight with a flash.

Evan knew every inch of this tens-of-thousands-li region. The strongest immortal beasts here were mid-stage Immortal Emperors, but there weren’t many of them. Early-stage Immortal Emperor ice beasts were much more common—especially the Mystic Ice Serpent, the toughest opponent of all.

Their bodies were transparent, blending perfectly into the ice and snow—almost impossible to spot. But when they struck, their power was terrifying, catching people completely off guard. Many Mystic Ice Serpents here had already reached early Immortal Emperor level.

Time passed as the team pressed on slowly. This time, death really struck—the victims were all claimed by Mystic Ice Serpents. In just a few days, six people died, casting a shadow of death over the squad. But instead of fear, everyone grew even more furious.

Whenever a Mystic Ice Serpent appeared, the team unleashed their strongest attacks. The fastest Immortal Lords acted as bait, while the powerful Immortal Emperors struck in tandem. Their coordination kept improving, becoming more and more seamless.

Evan watched all of this closely. Using Light Transformation, he concealed himself in midair, observing whether they could reach the level he envisioned. What he saw didn’t disappoint him—a mighty army was rapidly taking shape…
