I Object to This Marriage Arrangement

As soon as Belle finished speaking, there was a loud crash. Everyone turned toward the sound to see Nathan Ye, pale as a sheet, collapsing into a chair.

"Minister Ye, what's wrong!?" Belle had no idea about Nathan Ye's secret feelings for April. Seeing his state, she thought he must have suddenly fallen ill.

Nathan Ye's next reaction startled Belle even more. He suddenly stood up, marched straight to Belle, and pleaded with pitiful eyes, "Miss Belle, please don't marry April off so soon!"

"Huh!?" Belle was completely baffled. What was going on?

Su Li had known Nathan Ye for years, but she'd never seen him like this. She immediately sensed trouble and rushed out with her people to chase after him.

Nathan Ye ran so fast it was as if the wind itself was at his heels.

He sprinted all the way to April's courtyard to find her.
