The young man's face turned cold. "My Oak Family is a True Domain family."
The middle-aged man quickly said, "Young Guildmaster, you've never been to the True Domain, so you're already considered independent. The Guildmaster never said you had to return to the Oak Family. The Guildmaster will be heading to the True Domain soon, and Destiny Guild has grown so much that it's not necessarily inferior to the True Domain. What I mean is, rather than going back to compete with the other Oak Family disciples for that portion of the estate, it's better to stay here and control the Destiny Guild."
The young man’s expression softened. He nodded at the middle-aged man, "Go check on Debbie Di first. Make sure she isn’t mistreated."
"Should I bring Debbie Di here and keep her under your watch?" the middle-aged man said obsequiously.
The young man snorted, "Idiot. No one cares which ant she is when she's locked up under the Trade Tower, but if you bring her here, my father will be the first to ask who she is."
"Yes, I understand," the middle-aged man replied hurriedly, then quickly left.
After the middle-aged man left, the young man frowned. It was a long time before he muttered to himself, "Grafting a spiritual root is difficult. Even in the True Domain, success isn't guaranteed. But I can use those Sacred Spirit Eyes first."
He wasn’t worried that Debbie Di’s Sacred Spirit Eyes would be discovered. If Debbie Di hadn’t reached the Soul Ancestor Stage after just a few years of cultivation, prompting Leonard Huang to extract her blood for testing, he wouldn’t have known she possessed both the Sacred Spirit Eyes and the Heavenborn Root.
......
"Joe, can we escape now?" Debbie Di’s heart leapt with joy upon hearing that Joe Di hadn’t been captured, and she immediately wanted to leave.
Joe Di chuckled. "Of course we can leave. But before that, I have a little score to settle with the Destiny Guild."
"Who are you?" The middle-aged man opened the barrier and saw that there was one more person in the room.
"Did you capture my family?" Joe Di looked at the middle-aged man who opened the barrier, his tone icy.
Family? The middle-aged man soon realized he couldn't discern Joe Di's cultivation level. But Joe Di looked young. As he sent out a message, he reached out to grab Joe Di.
The middle-aged man quickly sensed something was wrong. His hand froze in midair, then a True Essence hand seal grabbed his entire body. He felt his dantian shatter, his spiritual sea rupture, and he was sent flying through the air.
What happened? Before the middle-aged man could process his confusion, four blades nailed him directly onto the massive archway outside the Trade Tower.
Boom! Joe Di completely shattered the Trade Tower.
"Courting death..." From the distant Destiny Guild annex, the young man was the first to rush over. He had just summoned his artifact when a True Essence hand grabbed him.
The young man was shocked to find that under this True Essence hand, he had no way to evade. Then he tasted the same fate—his dantian shattered, his meridians ruptured, his spiritual sea broken...
"Pfft!" Four more blade auras shot out, nailing him beside the middle-aged man.
Joe Di didn’t kill the two men. Instead, he looked at the two figures approaching from a distance—these were the ones whose aura he’d sensed was even stronger than Miles Phantom’s.
He couldn’t use his divine sense to scan Miles Phantom, but before the two newcomers arrived, Joe Di had already scanned them several times. He confirmed they were both injured.
One had markings on his face, the other was tall and thin. If neither were injured, Joe Di estimated they would both be early Domain Stage experts.
The man with the patterned face charged desperately toward the young man nailed to the archway. But Joe Di wasn’t about to let him rescue anyone—the Azure Veil Blade flashed with a blue light and slashed out.
Boom! The patterned-faced man hastily punched at the Azure Veil Blade’s glow. True essence erupted—Joe Di was forced back several steps, and a flash of red crossed the patterned-faced man’s face as he also retreated over ten steps.
"Who are you?" The patterned-faced man stared at Joe Di in shock. When did such a powerful cultivator appear in the Central Realm? Even wounded and caught off guard, he was a true Domain Stage expert. Even at the first level, Domain Stage was still Domain Stage.
Joe Di laughed heartily. "Who I am is none of your concern. What you should worry about is your Destiny Guild. Is a Ten Star Sect really so impressive? Today, I’ll see if I can take down a Ten Star Sect."
The patterned-faced man finally stopped trying to rescue anyone. He calmly stared at Joe Di and said, "I suppose you’re Young Master Red Tassel? My Destiny Guild has no grudge against you, so why destroy our shop and nail my son to the archway?"
Joe Di snorted, "No grudge? My sister Debbie Dee and my uncle Frank Fields were quietly cultivating on the island, but your Destiny Guild abducted them and imprisoned them on Destiny Isle. And you dare say there’s no grudge? Old fool, have you no shame?"
The patterned-faced man’s gaze landed in surprise on the young man nailed to the archway. He truly hadn’t known about this matter.
The young man immediately said, "Father, this person is spouting nonsense! If you hadn’t arrived, I would have died. He shattered my dantian and destroyed my spiritual sea…"
Liam Oak instantly realized the claim was true, and his rage surged like rivers and seas. Even as the Destiny Guild’s second master, he might not be able to find the best spirit medicine to restore his son’s spiritual sea. For a mere Young Master Red Tassel to cripple his son—injured or not, if he didn’t capture and extract this Red Tassel’s soul, he wasn’t Liam Oak.
"Julius, lend me a hand—let’s kill this scoundrel." As he spoke, Liam Oak brandished the Frostspike Spear and thrust it forward.
Whoosh! The spear’s shadow instantly transformed into a domain, trapping Joe Di within.
Julius Mew didn’t need Liam Oak’s command—without hesitation, he unleashed his artifact and charged at Joe Di. Though wounded, he was still a Domain Stage cultivator. He believed that even if Joe Di was strong, under Liam Oak’s domain, Joe Di would be forced to retreat. And even if Joe Di escaped Liam Oak’s domain, he wouldn’t be able to avoid Julius’s killing blow.

Just as Julius Mew charged forth, a rough voice rang out, "Julius Mew, you scoundrel! Back when you and Liam Oak plotted against me, Charles Chang, today I won’t stoop to your level—I’ll kill you openly, you scum…"
As the voice fell, a rainbow that tore through the void came crashing down, covering the sky. Even before it landed, its killing intent had already seized control of the surrounding space.
Joe Di’s heart trembled. He had planned to see if he could withstand two wounded Domain Stage experts; if not, he’d escape with Uncle Frank and Debbie Dee.
What surprised him was that someone had stepped in to help. He recognized Charles Chang—the Destiny Guild’s chief master, said to be a Domain Stage cultivator. But Joe Di also sensed that Charles was injured. It seemed the patterned-faced man was indeed the Destiny Guild’s second master, Liam Oak.
Charles Chang was truly patient, hiding and waiting for the right moment. Seeing him challenge Liam Oak alone, he finally seized the opportunity to strike.
With Charles Chang handling Julius Mew, Joe Di was free to unleash his full strength. Over six thousand blades erupted—he immediately deployed the Ninth-Rank Skyveil Blade Array.
Even if the opponent was a wounded Domain Stage expert, he was still a Domain Stage powerhouse. Joe Di was only at the first level of the Transforming True Stage.
Boom! The blade array collided with Liam Oak’s domain, sending out thunderous roars. Liam Oak’s domain shattered inch by inch, while dozens of blades in Joe Di’s array cracked.
A blade array is unified—as soon as one blade fails, its power drops sharply.
Liam Oak snorted. His spear struck down through the gap in the fractured array, fully exposing Joe Di to his killing intent.
Liam Oak sneered inwardly. How dare you use a blade array without enough divine sense? Whether blade, sword, or spear arrays—if mastered, they’re powerful beyond their level.
But the stronger something is, the greater its flaws. Blade arrays have a huge weakness: divine sense. If your divine sense isn’t strong enough, a flaw appears, and the backlash will be your undoing.
Even if Joe Di was possessed by a master, his divine sense wouldn’t be that strong. Weak divine sense, yet he dared use a ninth-rank blade array. Not only that, he mixed in some low-grade and mid-grade spirit artifacts. With his domain tearing apart the unstable array, Joe Di was as good as dead.
Seeing Liam Oak finally take the bait, gathering his killing intent and striking at the fractured spot in the blade array, it was clear he intended to finish Joe Di off in one blow.
Liam Oak thought Joe Di’s weak divine sense meant he couldn’t control a ninth-rank blade array.
Unfortunately for the old fool, he was blind to the truth. Joe Di spread his hand again, and the broken blades were suddenly replenished.
A blue blade light tore through space, its momentum completely enveloping Liam Oak, the killing intent unstoppable and relentless.
When the Frostspike Spear’s killing intent suddenly faltered, Liam Oak felt a sense of dread. He abruptly remembered that Young Master Red Tassel was ranked in the top ten of the Fivefold Dao Tower. Even if possessed, Joe Di had dozens of entry tokens for Little World Star. Even if he traded them all for spirit stones, he wouldn’t need to use low-grade artifacts as array flags…
Boom! The Frostspike Spear’s killing intent collapsed, while endless blade intent surged, transforming into a vast force that bound Liam Oak within space.
It was bad—by now, Liam Oak realized he’d been outplayed by Joe Di. He retreated frantically, but a blue blade light tore through the void and swept toward him.
As Liam Oak stared at the blue blade light cutting through the void, despair filled his heart. How strong must one’s divine sense be? Even with tenth-level divine sense, it would be impossible to instantly repair a shattered ninth-rank blade array in battle—let alone attack after restoring the array.
(That’s all for today’s update, friends. Good night!)
