After acquiring the Divine Sense Tempering Chapter, Miles Phantom could scarcely contain his excitement and immediately retreated into a chamber to begin secluded cultivation. Joe Di also entered seclusion, but rather than cultivating, he retrieved the Di Family Seven Blades that he had fought to reclaim from Blake Lane of the Inferno Sect.

Joe Di had always possessed a copy of the Di Family Seven Blades. After all his elder brothers had perished, his father Shawn Di entrusted the original manual to his only surviving son. To Joe Di, the Di Family Seven Blades seemed ordinary; after he grasped the Dao of the Blade and forged his own Whirlwind Blade, Riftblade, and Boundless Blade, the family manual felt obsolete.

It was because the Di Family of Pearl City was annihilated over the Di Family Seven Blades that, after finally reclaiming the manual, Joe Di found nothing unusual about it. Yet, later on Earth, whenever he took out the Di Family Seven Blades, he would occasionally glimpse a faint gray light emanating from its pages, stirring fresh doubts in his heart—could this blade manual, with its mysterious glow, truly conceal some extraordinary secret?

The Di Family Seven Blades manual he recovered from Blake Lane was clearly newer than the one Shawn Di had given him. If either copy was the true original, it had to be the one he always carried. Yet, after countless examinations, aside from the Seventh Blade being somewhat difficult to open, he found no evidence of any cultivation technique within his own manual.

The manual he reclaimed looked noticeably newer, but no matter how he scrutinized it, it did not resemble the authentic original. Opening the Di Family Seven Blades revealed only the usual records of the seven blade techniques, and even the Seventh Blade appeared incomplete. Joe Di’s divine sense swept over the manual again and again, but the gray light never reappeared, leaving him frustrated and perplexed.

After scrutinizing the Di Family Seven Blades for one or two hours without finding any clues, Joe Di grew increasingly disappointed. Just then, the restriction protecting the cave mansion was suddenly triggered.

This cave mansion treasure belonged to Miles Phantom, who was now absorbed in studying the Divine Sense Tempering Chapter. With the restriction disturbed, Joe Di had no choice but to put away the Di Family Seven Blades and open the formation barrier.

At the entrance of the cave mansion stood two people. The first was an exceptionally handsome middle-aged man, whose cultivation aura suggested he was at the third layer of the Tribulation King Stage. Behind him stood a young and graceful woman, her beauty undeniable, yet a gray deathly air lingered in her eyes, as if deep resentment was buried in her heart. Her cultivation was also impressive, at the second layer of the Cauldron Lord Stage.

What puzzled Joe Di was that both newcomers carried blades on their backs, just like him—they too were cultivators who wielded the blade as their chosen weapon.

"May I ask, are you the Red Sash Young Master Joe Di?" The middle-aged man cupped his fists respectfully, his expression tinged with apology as he addressed Joe Di.

"That is me. May I ask who you two are?" Joe Di looked at the pair with a hint of doubt. Miles Phantom’s cave mansion already displayed the sign for seclusion; under normal circumstances, no one would disturb the restriction. If someone did, and the host were a hot-tempered cultivator, a fierce battle could have erupted.

The man quickly replied, "I am Simon Dee of the Di Family, and this is my daughter, Faye Dee. Might we enter and speak with you for a moment?"

Why had the Di Family from the Central Realm come to find him? Joe Di was certainly familiar with the Di Family, and Faye Dee was even more famous—how could he not know? When he first arrived at Fivefold City, he saw Faye Dee listed as third on the Fivefold Dao Tablet, having ascended to the Ninetieth Tier—the very stage for tempering divine sense. During the second Fivefold Dao Gathering, Faye Dee ranked fourth, and she had once held the twenty-third spot on the Sea List.

"Of course, please come in." Joe Di gestured for them to enter, though doubt lingered in his heart. Faye Dee was a peerless genius of the Central Realm—why, then, did her eyes hold such a deathly aura?

After leading Simon Dee and Faye Dee into the cave mansion and securing the restriction, Joe Di asked formally, "Daoist Dee, Fairy Faye, what business brings you to seek me out today?"

Simon Dee was at the third layer of the Tribulation King Stage, while Faye Dee was only at the second layer of the Cauldron Lord Stage. Even without Miles Phantom present, Joe Di felt no need to be wary of these two.

No sooner had they sat down than Simon Dee stood again, cupping his fists respectfully. "Red Sash Young Master, I have a request, though it may be presumptuous. Before I ask, may I first inquire—what continent do you hail from?"

Joe Di was puzzled by Simon Dee’s question, but answered honestly, "I come from Yalen Continent."

His origin from Yalen Continent was widely known; there was no need to conceal it.

Simon Dee suddenly produced a white jade cup, poured in half a cup of colorless liquid, and offered it to Joe Di. "Red Sash Young Master, I noticed you also wield a blade and bear the Dee surname. Thus, I wonder—could you share a common ancestry with the Di Family of the Central Realm?"
