Drunk Again

1/11/2026

Bang!

Han Dayuan slammed his hand on the table and barked at Henry, "You little brat, watch your mouth! Apologize to Ian right now! Someone as noble and distinguished as Ian would never drink from a bowl with you!"

Hearing Han Dayuan's words, Ian was speechless. On the surface, Han Dayuan was scolding Henry, but in reality, he was targeting Ian. It was obvious he really planned to get Ian drunk.

Even though Ian knew Han Dayuan was up to no good, he still said, "Uncle Han, don't be angry. Honestly, I don't mind drinking from a bowl."

Afraid Ian might back out, Henry hurried to the kitchen and grabbed two bowls.

He took the liquor bottle and quickly filled both bowls to the brim.

Ian thought Henry was only a sophomore, so his tolerance wouldn't be high. But after three bowls each, Henry was clearly tipsy but could still drink. Thanks to Han Dayuan's constant toasting earlier, Ian had already drunk at least a jin of baijiu. Now, with three more bowls—each about half a jin—that added up to two and a half jin.

Because of his strong body, Ian's limit was about three jin. At this point, his head was already getting heavy. He knew that if he kept drinking, Han Dayuan might actually succeed in his scheme.

"Let's have another bowl!" Henry slurred.

"How about we slow down and eat something first?" Ian suggested.

But Henry refused to back down, his face flushed red. "Are you a man or not? If you are, drink!" he challenged.

"You little brat, you think I can't handle you?" Annoyed by Henry's repeated provocations, Ian said, "Fine, let's drink!"

Gulp, gulp!

After downing another bowl, Ian felt like his stomach was on fire. It was seriously uncomfortable.

Thud!

After finishing the bowl, Henry wobbled, then toppled face-first onto the table.

Seeing this, Ian couldn't help but laugh. The little brat tried to challenge him, but in the end, he was the one who got knocked out.

Noticing that Ian was already showing signs of drunkenness, Han Dayuan was overjoyed and desperately poured more liquor into him. After three jin, Ian's mind was a complete blur, and he stopped caring about Han Dayuan's scheming, just drinking instinctively.

So after another jin, Ian finally passed out drunk.

"Ian! Ian!" Han Dayuan shook Ian hard a few times. Seeing he didn't respond, Han Dayuan knew the plan had worked and quickly called out to Jenny, "Honey, let's move this kid into Hannah's room together!"

Jenny was stunned, then protested, "How can that be? Ian is Hannah's student. How could we let them sleep together?"

Han Dayuan snapped, "You clueless woman! You think I don't know what I'm doing? Why do you think I made Hannah drink tonight, then got this kid drunk too? It's all to match them up!"

Jenny was shocked by Han Dayuan's words. "Are you crazy, Han? They're teacher and student. How could they possibly be together?"

"What do you know? Do you even know how much money this kid has?" Han Dayuan suddenly said mysteriously.

"How much?" Jenny asked instinctively.

Han Dayuan smugly held up three fingers. "Guess."

"Three million?" Jenny guessed cautiously.

"Pfft! Three million and he thinks he can marry my daughter? Dream on!" Han Dayuan spat on the floor in disdain.

"Is it thirty million?" Jenny asked, surprised.

"Still too low. Guess again!"

Could it be three hundred million?

"You clueless woman, I knew you couldn't guess. It's three billion!" Han Dayuan announced, looking as if the money was his own.

Jenny gasped, "How is Ian so rich?"

Judging by Ian's clothes, he didn't look like a rich guy at all. And people said the wealthy always acted arrogant, but Ian was way too humble.

"Han, are you sure? How could Ian possibly have that much money?" Jenny asked, still skeptical.

Han Dayuan cackled, "Heh, you think I'm stupid? Listen, at the casino today, this kid won over two billion in one go, and he casually tossed out a card with six hundred million on it. Just from what I saw, he's got at least three billion. Who knows, maybe he's even richer! Think about it—if he ends up with Hannah, we'll be billionaire in-laws. Even if we do nothing, we'll never run out of money!"

Jenny was tempted, but still shook her head. "No, I don't think it's right. We haven't asked either of them. What if Hannah doesn't like Ian? Or Ian doesn't like Hannah?"

"Woman, your brain must be stuck somewhere! If Hannah didn't like him, why would she bring him home? And if Ian wasn't interested in Hannah, why would he care so much about our family's problems? So I think they're both interested, but because of the teacher-student thing, they're afraid to make a move. If they won't do it, we as parents should do it for them!"

Han Dayuan got more and more carried away, convinced he was absolutely right—even he started to believe his own nonsense.

Listening to Han Dayuan's analysis, Jenny actually found it a bit convincing, though she still looked hesitant.

"Woman, what are you still hesitating for? Someone as rich as Ian won't look down on our family! If you miss this chance, there won't be another. In times like these, a guy with money and looks is in high demand. If you pass this up, you'll regret it!"

Jenny was finally convinced. The couple worked together to lift Ian and carry him into Hannah's room, laying him down beside her.

"Han, let's go out now!" Jenny tucked the blanket over Ian and Hannah, then got ready to leave the room.

"Wait! Take off their clothes first!" Han Dayuan said thoughtfully.

"Han, that's going too far!" Jenny protested, her face flushing.

"We've come ninety-nine steps, just one left. Stop dawdling and help them undress!" Han Dayuan urged.

"Fine! You go out first—I'll do it!"

Jenny gave in.

Han Dayuan wanted them completely undressed, but Jenny wasn't as shameless. In the end, she left them both in their underwear.

At six thirty in the morning, Ian, with his reliable biological alarm clock, woke up right on time. Suddenly, he sensed something was off—a soft, warm body was lying with its back against his chest, and his right hand was gripping something smooth and tender.

Am I having a dirty dream?

Half-doubting, he squeezed the soft mound in his hand, and the feeling was all too real.

"Damn, this isn't a dream!" He snapped his eyes open and saw someone lying in his arms. Judging by the side of her face, it was almost certainly Hannah.

"Crap! How am I sleeping with Hannah?"

A jumble of memories flashed through his mind and quickly pieced together. He realized he'd fallen for Han Dayuan's scheme and was instantly furious—what a shameless guy. Luckily, the target was him; if it had been someone else, Hannah would have been in real trouble.
