Warlord Brock’s tent was located at the very center of the army camp.
If an ordinary Grandmaster tried to act as an assassin, it would be nearly impossible to approach his tent.
Perhaps because his tent was at the camp’s very center, Brock wasn’t worried about assassins, so there weren’t even any guards outside.
What luck!
Ian Song thought to himself.
With a thought, he activated the Great Teleportation Art, feeling spatial energy wrap around him...
The next moment, he appeared inside Brock’s tent—right beside the bed.
Perhaps just finished a bout with two Strongarm Bull Devil women, Brock—despite his Grandmaster-level power—didn’t notice someone appearing in his tent.
Heaven wants you dead!
Seeing this, Ian didn’t even bother releasing his Sword Puppet or using Spatial Stasis.
The ninth-grade spirit sword Purple Thunder appeared in his hand.
Finally, as Purple Thunder appeared, Brock opened his sleepy eyes.
But before he could react, the cold blade of Purple Thunder had already sliced across his neck.
Brock was instantly decapitated.
Startled by the killing intent, the two Strongarm Bull Devil women woke up and instinctively tried to scream, so Ian hardened his heart and killed them too.
With a casual wave, Ian stored Brock’s corpse in his Storage Ring; as for the two Strongarm Bull Devil women, he left them.
The assassination was even smoother than expected.
Ian, still using Clairvoyant Vision to scan the surroundings, found that no other Strongarm Bull Devils had been alerted.
Because the assassination was so easy, Ian started thinking about assassinating other thousand-man commanders.
With a thought, he began searching for the whereabouts of the thousand-man commanders.
Brock had ten thousand-man commanders under him; the one Ian killed earlier, Naya, was the weakest.
Also, the stronger a Strongarm Bull Devil gets, the bigger its body.
So Ian quickly located two of the thousand-man commanders.
That’s right—two of them.
The two commanders were drinking in a tent, using human skulls for cups, and eating human flesh as snacks.
Seeing this, Ian’s killing intent surged.
He locked onto their position.
Great Teleportation Art!
Whoosh!
The next instant, Ian appeared directly inside the room where the two Strongarm Bull Devil commanders were.
Ian didn’t give the two commanders a chance to speak; the moment he appeared, he activated Spatial Stasis.
Die!
A cold glint flashed in his eyes; Purple Thunder swept out, beheading them and quickly storing their heads in his Storage Ring.
When Spatial Stasis ended, only a few drops of blood fell to the ground—the two commanders who’d been drinking were gone.
With a thought, Ian vanished from the tent.
The four guards outside suddenly noticed the tent had gone silent and sensed something was wrong.
“Gus, Gabe, are you still in there?”
One guard called into the tent, but got no reply.
The four guards exchanged glances.
Should we go in and check?
