"You want me dead, huh?" Howard Wang barked out, and instantly, over a hundred Special Ops Kings aimed their pulse weapons at Ryan Ling. These guns were anything but ordinary—their firepower was off the charts. Instead of regular bullets, they shot out beams of strange light. Hundreds of these rays blasted out together, swallowing Ryan in a sea of energy.
"Nice one, Old Wang! This new gear is seriously next level!" Adrian Lin slapped his thigh in excitement. Just a second ago, Ryan Ling's crazy pressure had nearly knocked the wind out of him, but Howard's timely move let him breathe easy again.
"That was just the warm-up. You haven’t even seen the real firepower yet!" Howard Wang grinned. As the top weapons expert, he shouted and swept his custom laser rifle at Ryan Ling.
These weapons had never been shown to the public—they were top-tier tech, precision-engineered for solo combat. Howard Wang had run tests for the military brass: they could punch through titanium-steel plates over ten meters thick in a heartbeat, and even shatter the combined defenses of two or three God Realm experts. And those experts weren’t nobodies—they were second-tier and third-tier powerhouses, the absolute elite of the army.
Right now, under the barrage of laser beams, Ryan Ling looked like he’d been hit by a freight train—he staggered back several steps, his aura going haywire, and wisps of white smoke started curling off his body.
"Damn, that’s some serious firepower!" Ryan Ling blurted out, unable to hold back.
"So you finally get it, huh? Comparing us to those useless idiots from the Chow Family? You must be blind!" Howard Wang sneered. "Alright, everyone, take a breather. Leave this guy to us Special Ops Kings—we’ll handle him!"
"Sounds good! The Special Ops Kings are our ace squad, and under your training, they’re a whole new breed. I’m dying to see just how strong they really are!" Adrian Lin nodded eagerly.
The Bright Left and Right Envoys from the World Dominion Society kept quiet. Forget those cutting-edge weapons for a second—the Special Ops Kings, directly under the Central Military Commission, were already top-tier martial pros. Every single one of them was a beast, way tougher than the old Chow Family’s Saint-King Golden Legion, and even more hardcore than the Dragon Group on paper. It’s just that they always operated in the shadows, rarely showing their faces, so their reputation never made it out to the public.
As the boss of the World Dominion Society, he was itching to see the real strength of the Commission’s top dogs.
"Fire! Crank the weapons to max! Blast him to dust!" Howard Wang jumped out, his laser gun firing in a spray of rainbow colors—the more colors, the stronger the blast. This was the ultimate shockwave mode.
All around, the hundred-plus Special Ops Kings unleashed pitch-black pulse waves, pushing their power to the absolute limit. The shockwaves rocked the entire Chow Family estate—mansions exploded like rockets, and all of Hebei Province felt the tremor.
"What the hell’s going on? Who the heck forced the Special Ops Kings to bust out the top-secret weapons? Rumor has it the army uses this stuff to fight aliens!"
"Get real! You’re overthinking it. These weapons were clearly made to take on America, not aliens. That ET stuff is just nonsense!"
"You’re the one overthinking! These guns are for taking down top martial artists. I bet some super-powered freak just crashed the party—maybe it’s that Ryan Ling from Southriver!"
While chaos erupted outside the Chow Family mansion, deep underground—hundreds of meters below—a bunch of guards were chatting nervously. Locked up inside were the Dragon Group and Nang Family crew. They’d all heard the insane racket outside, and the name "Ryan Ling" hit their ears like a thunderclap!
"Ryan Ling? Is it really him? He’s actually here?" Marshal Black Tortoise, his face bloody, gritted his teeth. "The whole place is locked down tight. If he’s coming, it’s suicide. Damn that Victor Hua!"
"Ryan Ling, you shouldn’t have come for us. You shouldn’t be here—there’s no way you can take on these monsters alone!"
"Is there any way we can get him to leave? Somebody—make him leave!"
At that moment, Sophia Long and Cindy Nang both shouted. Their clothes were torn, blood at their lips, and each gripped a razor-sharp stone—if those World Dominion Society psychos tried anything, they’d rather die than let it happen.
"Now it’s looking bad. Howard Wang’s a total weapons nut—he builds nothing but killing machines. If they’ve set up a trap, I don’t care how strong Ryan Ling is, he’s not getting out of this one!" A Dragon Group captain shook his head.
"Don’t talk nonsense! He’ll be fine—he’s a god!" Marshal Black Tortoise shouted, totally fired up. After the Kyoto battle, he was a die-hard Ryan Ling fan, and now, watching Ryan get hammered by those crazy weapons, his heart twisted with pain.
Just as the Special Ops Kings outside went berserk on Ryan Ling, the Ghost Elder inside Ryan spoke up: "Ryan, I’ve pinpointed it—the Dragon Group and Nang Family are locked up in a nearby cavern, and the defenses are weak. Now’s the perfect time to break in!"
"Got it!" Ryan Ling nodded. With his current power, he couldn’t care less about these so-called advanced weapons. And that’s not even counting the Life Core pearl Guihai One-Blade gave him before he left—just his Glazed Golden Core body alone could shrug off anything short of a nuke. These laser beams and pulse waves might wipe out normal God Realm experts, but to him, they were basically tickles. He’d been holding back this whole time, scanning for the Dragon Group and Nang Family. Dueling these guys was pointless—his real mission in Hebei was rescue!
"Damn, this little punk’s still kicking—he’s not normal! Crank it up, Old Wang!" Adrian Lin’s eyes bulged like a bull’s as he saw Ryan Ling still moving, and he yelled out.
"Relax, he’s just having a last gasp before dying. I’ve got this under control!" Howard Wang smirked, totally unfazed. The arrogant weapons expert was all-in on his own gear, and he shouted again.
"Brothers, this bastard’s almost done for—he’s just flailing around. Crank every weapon to max and grind him into paste!" Howard Wang finished, his laser rifle dialed up to the max, and he pumped in his God Realm power!
This was Howard Wang’s trump card—his martial power fused with cutting-edge tech, creating an explosive force you wouldn’t find anywhere else on earth.
As Howard unleashed his final attack, the other Special Ops Kings poured all their strength into their weapons too. Instantly, the firepower shot up tenfold. For miles around Ryan Ling, it was blindingly bright—like the world itself had been wiped out!
"He’s toast now!" Adrian Lin, who’d been worried before, burst out laughing. With a move like that, no living thing could possibly survive—there was zero chance anyone could walk away from this.
The Bright Left and Right Envoys from the World Dominion Society joined in, grinning. They’d been nervous before, but now Ryan Ling was definitely dead meat.
"Nice work, guys! Bagging Ryan Ling today is a huge win for all of you…" Howard Wang was practically bouncing with excitement, sure that Ryan was nothing but ash now.
But before he could finish, out of the blinding white light, a giant hand suddenly shot out and grabbed Howard Wang by the throat. In that instant, everyone who’d been celebrating froze in shock…
