After leaving the private hospital, Yvonne Hu naturally wrapped her arm around Shawn Young’s sturdy waist, helping him to the parking lot outside. The white Lamborghini was parked there, and the two walked over to the car. While Yvonne went to fetch the keys, Shawn turned to glance at the third floor, spotting Fiona Nangong peering down from the window of the special care ward. Her gaze was full of longing and melancholy.
Shawn grinned, then spun around with flair and performed a Michael Jackson moonwalk, shaking his hips playfully at Fiona Nangong. He then hopped into the passenger seat of the Lamborghini as Yvonne drove up, excitedly calling out, "Hehe—drive, Yvonne!"
"Ah! You brat—pretending to be seriously injured just to fool me!! You—you just wait!!" Fiona Nangong, still on the third floor, was so angry her eyes seemed to shoot flames and her pretty face turned cold. She thought Shawn was absolutely infuriating! But she didn’t chase after him; instead, she watched from above, her eyes shifting as she came up with a ‘brilliant’ idea. As she plotted, she couldn’t help but giggle to herself, "You brat, I’ll soon show you what it means to have your head spinning—"
"Uh—Shawn, are you okay? Weren’t you badly hurt?" Yvonne Hu stared at him, stunned and confused.
"I am pretty badly hurt—but I just don’t want to be stuck with that woman upstairs. I want to spend time alone with my Yvonne. No matter how injured I am, I’d rather be with you—come here, give me a hug—" Shawn grinned shamelessly, then even more shamelessly slid into the driver’s seat, wrapping his arm around Yvonne’s slender waist and pulling her close. He knew Yvonne would never refuse him.
Sure enough, Yvonne wasn’t angry at all. She just struggled a little out of courtesy, her cheeks flushing as she whispered, "Oh—you—you were faking your injury, you’re so annoying!"
"I really am badly hurt! If I relied on Fiona Nangong’s doctors and specialists, I’d never recover—even if it took years! I don’t have that kind of time to waste with her! I’ve got my own way to heal!" Shawn said mysteriously.
"Oh? Well, that’s good! So—where do you want to go now?" Yvonne didn’t press further, trusting that Shawn wouldn’t joke about his own life.
"Hehe—wherever you take me, I’ll go! The important thing is being with you, doing what we love—" Shawn grinned wickedly, feeling Yvonne’s incredibly firm curves. Down below, his ‘Little Shawn’ was already getting restless, pressing against her soft spot through his pants.
"Oh—you’re so naughty—well then, I’ll take you somewhere!" Yvonne immediately sensed Shawn’s intentions, her cheeks turning rosy as she bit her lip and spoke softly. She started the engine, stepped on the gas, and the car sped away from the hospital, heading along the riverside highway toward the northern suburbs of Nanning City.
After driving along the river for over forty minutes, they arrived at a hot spring resort in the northern part of Nanning City. There, a villa stood harmoniously amidst lush green hills, with a neatly manicured lawn and an unassuming Australian sandstone entrance. A stone path led to a tranquil square pool, and a waterfall cascaded down the stone wall, welcoming guests. Yvonne parked the car outside the villa, then she and Shawn got out, arm in arm, and walked to the front door.
Yvonne, holding Shawn’s arm, walked to the door, took out a magnetic card, and swiped it—"Beep—" The heavy iron gate slowly opened on both sides. The two walked in, and Shawn realized how impressive the place was—luxurious and elegant.
Inside the spacious hall, the elegant chandelier overhead sparkled with golden light. The exquisite spiral staircase was adorned with beautiful Swarovski crystal motifs, radiating a noble glow that left Shawn dazzled.
"Oh—Yvonne, this place is amazing! A villa with hot springs, so elegant—how much does it cost to stay here for a day?" Shawn couldn’t help but ask curiously.
Yvonne just smiled and said, "Of course it’s amazing! This is actually my first time here too! The villa—my mom gave it to me as a birthday present!!"
"What?! Birthday present? Today—is today your birthday?!" Shawn asked in surprise.
"Mhm—yep!" Yvonne smiled.
"Oh—my God! I’m so sorry, Yvonne—I didn’t know at all!" Shawn said, flustered.
"Oh, come on—you were unconscious for three whole days, how could you have known? Besides, only my mom and Cynthia know about my birthday. I never told you, so of course you wouldn’t know!" Yvonne giggled.
"Oh—but I didn’t get you a birthday present—that’s really… that’s really terrible of me! I’m your boyfriend now, too!" Shawn hugged Yvonne, looking ashamed.
"Mhm—today, it’s just you and me here—being with you is already the best birthday present. Will you be my one and only birthday gift?" Yvonne snuggled in his arms and asked softly.
"Of course—I’d love to!!" Shawn was so excited he could barely speak. Being Yvonne’s ‘one and only’ birthday present was a dream come true!
"Hehe—good!" Yvonne buried her face in Shawn’s chest, hugging his sturdy waist tightly, her cheeks blooming with affection and her heart full of tenderness.
"Oh—but—I still feel… guilty—and I… me and Aunt Vivian—" Shawn was moved by Yvonne’s sudden tenderness. For a long time, he’d thought of her as an ‘ice queen.’ Most importantly, he’d had an intimate relationship with her mother, Aunt Vivian! Now it was Yvonne’s turn, and that made Shawn feel especially uneasy.
"Don’t say that—after everything that’s happened, I’ve realized just how absurd life can be! Especially after coming back from Myanmar—I almost fell out with my mom, but she sat down and talked with me for a long time. I finally understood that things haven’t been easy for her, either! Life’s short, and happy moments are rare. If you care too much about what others think and give up what you truly want, it’s not worth it! Maybe life is just absurd! If that’s how it is—I can accept it! I only have one request—from now on, treat me well!" Yvonne turned to Shawn, looking him in the eyes.
"I—I promise! Yvonne, you’re amazing!" Shawn was moved by Yvonne’s words and hugged her even tighter.
"I’ve been at the hospital these past days and haven’t gotten any real rest. Let’s go upstairs and check out the room!" Yvonne slipped out of Shawn’s arms and spoke softly.
"Okay, okay!" Shawn replied quickly.
Yvonne grabbed Shawn’s hand and led him up the spiral staircase to the second floor, into a huge room. The luxurious, spacious bedroom featured dazzling black silk bedding with a mysterious vibe. A massive British antique four-poster bed stood out, glowing with colorful lights in the night, creating a dazzling spectacle. Shawn stared at the lavish room, his mind racing with excitement. If he could tumble with Yvonne on that bed, it would be the happiest thing in life!
Just then, Shawn glanced over—Yvonne had disappeared. On the dark purple Persian carpet, her white dress lay in a trail leading to the spacious bathroom, with even her bra and panties dropped at the door. The bathroom door wasn’t even closed.
