By noon, the sun was blazing overhead.
But the campus of South China University was filled with a heavy, deathly silence.
Dorm A, fourth floor.
The dorm room door swung open, and Ian Song and his five roommates stepped out, each carrying a steel pipe.
After experiencing the benefits of Evolution Crystals, when Ian suggested taking the six of them out to hunt zombies and collect more crystals, the five roommates were clearly tempted. After only a brief hesitation, they all agreed to the plan.

Two low growls echoed out as two zombies burst from the first dorm room on the left.
"Let me handle this!"
With his strength more than doubled, Leo Liao was brimming with confidence. He charged forward, swinging his steel pipe.
"Splat!" With a single blow, he smashed a zombie's head wide open.
Kevin Zhou was a step behind, but he also easily finished off a zombie.
"Ha! Zombies aren't so scary after all!" Leo Liao laughed triumphantly, swaggering a little now—he'd already forgotten how scared he'd been just a short while ago.
