When Chase Chu walked out of the house, Victor Chu saw that Chase had fully recovered and looked at Evan Yang and Chase with an expression of disbelief.

"Dad, I'm healed!" Chase Chu said excitedly.

"Yes, I can see that. You should thank your master." Victor Chu said with a smile.

Chase Chu nodded, then turned to Evan Yang with deep gratitude and said, "Thank you, Master."

"No need to thank me. Just remember what I told you." Evan Yang replied with a smile.

Chase Chu nodded. He had already decided that no matter who asked, he would never tell anyone—this was the promise he made to Evan Yang.

Victor Chu was indeed curious, so he smiled at Evan Yang and said, "Tonight is the banquet. I'll have Chase show you around here for a bit, and call you again this evening."

"No problem," Evan Yang replied.

Then Victor Chu left, and Chase Chu smiled and turned to Hannah Nangong, asking, "Is this lady my master's wife?"

"Master's wife?" It was the first time she'd been called that, and Hannah Nangong was momentarily stunned, not knowing how to respond.

"Those people are my father's enemies. They always show up to bother him, demanding money or magical treasures," Chase Chu explained.

"Oh? Why doesn't your father teach them a lesson?" Evan Yang asked, noticing that those people weren't particularly strong and wondering why Patriarch Chu hadn't dealt with them.

"My father wants to, but our families have an agreement—any conflict must be settled through fair duels, not breaking the rules. Otherwise, either side has the right to declare war on the other," Chase Chu said, unwillingly.

"Oh? So your father doesn't want to declare war?" Evan Yang asked.

"Right. If it came to war, both families would suffer heavy losses. Plus, the Li Family has a very powerful member, so my father agreed to these rules. Every year, they come to find an excuse for a duel and grab some benefits," Chase Chu replied.

"Sounds like that clan is nothing but a bunch of thieves," Evan Yang said with a helpless smile.

"Come on," Chase Chu said.

"Where to?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"Let's go take a look," Chase Chu said, then rushed ahead. He arrived at the Chu Family's main hall, which was bustling—what should have been a dinner for Evan Yang had turned into an even livelier scene with these visitors.

"Aren't you going to follow? What if your disciple gets into trouble?" Hannah Nangong said, seeing Chase Chu dash off.
