The owner trembled as he took out his phone, ready to call the police.
Eric Jiang glanced indifferently at the owner and said, "No need to call the police. Someone will take care of it."
Eric Jiang looked at Molly Yun, who was crouching on the ground, pale and trembling. His heart ached.
It was all his fault for being careless.
Eric Jiang took off his jacket and draped it over Molly Yun. He told the bodyguard, "Handle the aftermath here. Put all this food in the car and deliver it to Rona Muir."
"What about you, young master?" The bodyguard looked at Eric Jiang in disbelief.
Young master is... taking care of this girl?
Wasn't Eric always suspicious of her?
Wasn't he supposed to teach her a lesson?
Did this little girl use her looks to charm the young master?
No, that can't be!
Young master has seen all kinds of beauties!
How could he fall for it so easily?
"Give me your car keys. Use my car to deliver the food to Mu Ruona." Jiang Yihai ordered firmly, "Do it now."
"Yes, young master." The bodyguard finally replied, unable to resist glancing at Yun Morong a few more times.
Actually, he didn't have any bad feelings toward this girl.
But as a bodyguard, especially one who protects in secret, unless Jiang Yihai was in danger, he wouldn't easily show himself.
But today, it looked like the relationship between the young master and this girl was about to change...
Jiang Yihai took the bodyguard's car keys, picked up Yun Morong—who was still huddled in fear—and left the restaurant.
Jiang Yihai drove straight back to the villa.
The butler was startled when he saw Molly Yun in Eric Jiang's arms. "What happened here?"
"We can talk about it later. Hurry and get her a waterproof bath." Eric Jiang carried Molly Yun quickly into the room, gently set her down, and asked, "Can you manage on your own?"
Molly Yun's face was deathly pale. She clung tightly to Eric Jiang's clothes, refusing to let go no matter what.
"I'll have a maid come take care of you." Eric Jiang sighed. "Don't be afraid, it's all over now."
"Blood, so much blood." Molly Yun finally spoke, "So much blood... even on the Road to the Underworld, there was this much blood..."
Eric Jiang's eyes darkened sharply.
He felt a pang of heartache.
He gently hugged Molly Yun. "I'm sorry. I didn't protect you well enough."
Molly Yun seemed not to hear Eric Jiang's words. She just kept mechanically repeating, "So much blood, so much blood, so much blood..."
Eric Jiang sighed and called for the maids. It took several people to finally remove Molly Yun's blood-soaked coat.
Eric Jiang waited outside the door.
Even though he hadn't witnessed it himself, he could already guess what had happened.
That unconventional man... he was going to interrogate him thoroughly.
Why was she so afraid of blood?
She even mentioned... the Road to the Underworld, so much blood...
The Road to the Underworld...
Rona, are you really Rona?
Only Rona has walked the Road to the Underworld!
But why did you become Molly Yun?
What exactly happened here?
While Eric Jiang was lost in thought, the maid came out of the room and said, "Mr. Jiang, Miss Yun has finished washing up. She seems very unwell. Should we call a doctor?"
"Thank you," Eric Jiang nodded. "Please do it as soon as possible."
The maid quickly left the room.
Eric Jiang turned and knocked, then entered the room.
As soon as he entered, he saw Molly Yun in pink and white loungewear, sitting blankly. She was completely cleaned up.
But her little face was still deathly pale.
Eric Jiang slowly squatted down in front of her, looking up at her.
Molly Yun's pupils finally started to focus. When she saw Eric Jiang's face, she instinctively snapped back to herself and burst into tears, throwing herself into his arms. "Yihai, I'm so scared! So much blood!"
At this moment, Molly Yun was just a frightened young lady, not the unconventional Molly Yun.
In other words, right now, Molly Yun had dropped all her defenses and was showing her true self.
She was exhausted from pretending. Really exhausted!
This bucket of blood not only ruined her dignity, but also shattered her disguise.
She felt like she couldn't hold on anymore.
She really wanted to find someone to talk to!
But she couldn't!
How could she possibly talk about something like this?
Who would believe that someone who died years ago could suddenly come back in another person's body?
This isn't some ancient romance novel, or a story about a strong woman traveling through time!
If anyone found out, she'd definitely end up as a lab experiment!
Even if she told her own parents she was Yun Nuo, would they believe her?
Of course not!
They themselves buried Yun Nuo!
How could they believe that a woman who suddenly appeared out of nowhere was their daughter?
Could she tell Cecilia Gu that she was her sister?
Of course not!
Cecilia isn't the same person she used to be!
Why would she let someone pretend to be her sister?
So, should she tell Eric Jiang?
Even less possible!
She'd already hurt him once—how could she drag him into chaos again?
The world is so big, and there are so many relatives.
Yet there isn't a single person she can talk to.
Not a single one...
She could only grit her teeth and swallow it all, taking this secret to the grave once again!
No one to talk to, no one to confide in.
She couldn't even cry without making up another excuse, too afraid to let anyone see her sorrow and helplessness.
Molly Yun hugged Eric Jiang and cried her heart out.
Her tears fell like raindrops on pear blossoms, heartbreakingly beautiful.
Even though she bit her lip hard, forcing herself not to make a sound.
Her trembling body still conveyed everything to Eric Jiang.
Eric Jiang gently held Molly Yun, softly patting her back.
Just like he used to.
"I'm sorry. I failed to protect you." Eric Jiang spoke softly. "It's all my fault. I shouldn't have left, I shouldn't have doubted you, I shouldn't have..."
Molly Yun suddenly let go of Eric Jiang, lowered her eyes, and said quietly, "You don't have to apologize. You have no obligation to protect me."

"I..." Eric Jiang was suddenly at a loss for words.
She still hadn't admitted her identity.
He really didn't have the right!
He couldn't just expose her identity.
What if she got scared and ran away?
Yun Nuo used to be physically weak and couldn't go far.
But Molly Yun can now!
So, he needed to take things slowly!
Having made up his mind, Eric Jiang immediately said, "Alright, whether I have the obligation or the right, as a man, failing to protect a woman is my fault. If you want to scold me, go ahead."
Molly Yun stared at Eric Jiang, wondering if he already knew something.
Did he really know, or was he just guessing?
Should she tell him the truth?
No, she shouldn't!
What if he couldn't accept it?
Wouldn't all her efforts be wasted?
No, she absolutely couldn't say it!
Molly Yun suddenly stood up and said, "I'm fine now. Sorry, I lost my composure earlier."
Seeing Molly Yun's sudden coldness and distance, Eric Jiang felt a heaviness in his heart.
It seemed she still hadn't let her guard down with him.
It's alright, he'll take it slow—he's confident!
"It's okay. Um... I already had someone deliver the takeout." Eric Jiang tried to make small talk. "You don't have to worry about them."
Molly Yun nodded. "I'm not hungry tonight, so I won't eat. Sorry, I just want to rest for a while."
Eric Jiang nodded with a hint of regret.
"Alright, I won't bother you. I'll have someone bring you some fruit later." Eric Jiang's voice unconsciously softened. "If you don't want dinner, at least have some fruit."
Molly Yun nodded absentmindedly.
Eric Jiang gave Molly Yun a deep look before turning and leaving.
After closing the door, Molly Yun collapsed on the sofa in despair.
Her mind was a chaotic mess.
What happened tonight was just too much to handle.
At the root of it all, it was because the previous owner of this body was too reckless!
It looks like changing her number is absolutely necessary.
Molly Yun sat up straight, ready to apply for a number change.
She hadn't even gotten up when her phone suddenly rang.
Seeing it was Cecilia Gu's number, Molly Yun immediately answered. "Cecilia, what happened?"
No matter how bad things were for herself, as long as Cecilia needed her, Molly Yun instinctively put Cecilia first.
